The final cut was on different level of depth.
No urgency of sacrifice, no force, pure love.
exactly....watching this that's exactly what I thought....they didn't have to rush and it wasn't a matter of she goes over and sacrifices herself or she dies on the cliff from the wounds...it was 100% pure sacrifice
Endgame was such a great ending for an incredible run of movies. As someone who spent many hours of their childhood fantasy-casting superhero movies, the MCU gave me more comic book goodness than ten year old me even dared to imagine. I really hope they find their groove again, but I'm pretty happy with what I already got.
I can see why they cut it, they didn't want to take the attention away from Nat and Clint in that scene. So they made it ALL about them.
Her death feels less impactful too in this scene cus it doesn’t have the same score as when thanos threw gamora off the cliff.
@@NM2008 Agreed, alternative scene still better than the last 10 years!!!
That's not the problem. Should Thanos appear, Clint would never make it out alive and Thanos would've gained the Soul Stone again.
@@КонстантинПаршуков-о6б
No, they said it in the commentary video of this. It's on Disney+ with the movie.
@@jeannguyen3199 ok so how would Clint have gotten back with the stone?
Always cool to see deleted scenes.. it’s fair to say they made a good decision in changing it to what we saw.

@@bennyc2426 watching live in the theater, this scene felt off. It didn’t hit the feels as much as it should. This way would’ve been better.
@@bennyc2426 I'm wondering how Thanos would have known they were there?

It was good that this scene was cut, but thanos walking in the background is amazing in this scene tbh.
@@jamesmagdangal9508 yea so menacing and seeing Black Widow realize they ain’t winning that fight and it was time to make the sacrifice

@@MichaelF-cc8ri2:58
I don't understand. Because it wasn't until years after this that he knew the stone was on Vormir lol
I have never seen this....the original scene was definitely better.
👍 😂😂😂
@@Vamatt99218 but this scene was more cinematic.
@sstudio36 more cinematic doesn't really mean better though
I must agree. The original was better. It may have not been cinematic or action packed. But that is the Beauty of the scene. It was supposed to be isolated and personal.
Same
I actually laughed when Thanos attacked. The tragic dramatic moment interrupted by action music and non-descript creatures shooting lasers and waving swords. The final was much much better.
“non-descript creatures” 😂😂😂😂 nah you’re right tho they looked like weird ninja versions of chitari
Thanos really brought in 3 gun ships to attack two people💀
and Natasha really thought her earth pistols were effective against alien with armor-- oh, I guess Earth pistols are pretty good against aliens.
@@jondunmore4268 well she did use them effectively against the chitauri and in Drax’s words Sakaaran’s are “paper people” and don’t seem to be stronger then humans so it kinda makes sense
They had a bow and a gun, man. Thanos could have been hurt.
@@jondunmore4268 she wasn't expecting to fight aliens when they went there
And 2 humans😂
This scene looks like it got the full post CGI completion treatment too. Which makes this look like one expensive series of reshoots.
@@endorbr they had a lot of them. For some reason marvel still hasn't released them. It's supposedly over 2 hours of additional footage from infinity war and endgame with full effects
The original makes more sense because clint has to let go of Natasha and let her fall to he death, "sacrificing that which he loves." Where as in this scene, Natasha jumps off herself, so Clint isn't letting her die, so he shouldn't have received the soul stone
And even if he did, Thanos would make him a bloody stain the second he appeared with that stone.
He didn't let her go. She kicked off the cliff wall and forced herself free of his grasp via weight and momentum. He begged her not to fall up until the end. He did not let her die.
@@mightywizard7475 Lmao nah. In the original one, Natasha pushed off to force Clint to be unable to hold on to her. He did not let her die either. The original cut is better, but your reasoning is flawed.
@@КонстантинПаршуков-о6б Well when someone gets the stone they are transported to a pool some distance away with the stone in hand. We've seen it happen twice. So Clint would have been fine, he could have just used his time travel device to escape at that point.
“You must lose that which you love”
It says nothing about sacrificing willing or not
I’m glad they cut this scene. This makes Natasha look stupid and reckless. Tactically speaking, she had no idea whether or not she’d make that run. And for her to jump off as Thanos is approaching Clint, for all she knew she was abandoning Clint to a death from Thanos right after she killed herself. She’d have no idea if her sacrifice would transport Clint away. The original had a beautiful mix of tension and care as they both fought to sacrifice each other to sacrifice themselves because they loved each other so much. Kept the focus on just them.
@@TheDavidiscoolified ehh, I agree with your first point, but not the second.
Yes, Natasha didn’t know if she’d make that run. But Nat is a professional and she knew what was stake. They couldn’t hold out against Thanos’s forces and she had to make the sacrifice of the fall no matter what.
@@TheDavidiscoolified exactly what I thought the minute I saw it
That's probably why they cut it. I just don't understand why it took them all the way to a finished cut of the scene to realize its flaws.
Technically, this is the original. But I agree with your sentiment.
@@Byorin What if Clint got the soul stone and Thanos snatched it as he was right behind? That was a very bad idea in the first place.
In all Avengers movies we were always robbed from extended combat sequences of Hawkeye and Widow. Either not filmed, or cut...
Avengers 1 when Hawkeye was under Loki control, civil war when they were on opposite sides, and then end game on vormir so I'ld say they are probably the two avengers we saw fight each other the most.
Completely redundant combat scene. Nicely cut
Agreed. In the first Avengers, a whole 3-minute sequence was cut showcasing Hawkeye and Widow fighting the Chitauri soldiers at the beginning of the battle. Some bits were included in the movie, but most of it was cut. It would’ve been helpful to introduce the viewers to Clint’s hand-to-hand prowess in the field. Then again, here we see another action sequence of these two cut. I get why it was cut, but it’s unfortunate these two keep getting scrapped.
@@crowtsoff fr bro i wanted more screen time with them
@@liamn.7664 ikr I’m so mad they didn’t keep it

Quoting George Lucas
"It's too...much"
considering the "special" editions, he's a hypocrite.
@@Aayush_Chawla George is better than all current Disney Star Wars writers at least.
@@LordTylerBluGunderson he’s far from flawless though. Special editions changes, changing up characterizations (ex: the whole Who Shot First? debacle, General Grievous going from a merciless Jedi killer to a “I’ll get you next time!” type villain), retconning Luke and Leia from being a thing to being siblings, and so on. He has his issues.
@@LingeringWont None of these are problems, some aren't even true. Get your facts straight.

0:46 Red Skull really just said “f*ck this sh!t I’m out”
It'd be so funny if Thanos was just waiting at the bottom of the cliff for whoever ended up with the stone and just stole it from them
They don’t receive the stone at the bottom of the cliff… do you see water down there?
@@curtmc right but it would still be hilarious 😂. Imagine he wakes up then thanos just grabbing the stone😂
I'm glad this was cut. Doesn't go with her personality of rushing into enemies guns blazing, also doesn't make sense that Thanos's minions figured out this location without help of red skull
@@yourdailyguide I think they got the info from Nebula's brain data.
...and then Clint gets the Soul Stone only to have Thanos to walk over and pull it out of his hand.
Thanos: "Thank you for making it easy for me."
which makes Thanos dumb for even attacking them instead of just waiting for either one of them to get the stone lol
@@nyashamuronzi617 well I mean he didn't want either of them to get it so he atleast made sure his enemy was on the ground and then thanks could've gotten it more easily yk
@@thudthud5423 this just made me burst out laughing 🤣
Clint would have been transported far off of the mountain top when he receives it. We've seen it twice when Thanos originally got it and Clint in the theatrical cut. So he would have been fine.
@@AlexTommo none of them knew that, so it wouldn't have made sense also he would still be on the planet so Thanos could still take the stone from him as Clint didn't have the space stone

I wish I had the budget to throw away a hugh concept action scene like that.
Then put in the work. Simple. That’s at least what I’m trying to do right now.
They made the right decision, the version in the theatrical film, was the right cut for sure. And it holds up for the hawkeye series as well. The scene always needed between Clint and Nat. Her death was impactful and meaningful as you really feel her loss during the hawkeye series in an emotional and genuine way.
Interesting, but I like more the original.
I agree
Only because its what you’re used to
@@jg2722 No, because it fits better lol
@@LvVStudios ehh they both fit equally as good
@@jg2722 No they don't. This one feels less significant than the original sacrifice. The action sequence is less emotional, and she does sacrifice herself, but the pivotal point of her sacrifice isn't pure selflessness like the original.
It's mainly because she's already been fatally wounded, and the main villain is steps away from them.
This was nice but I'm glad we got the other one... It was much better and more fitting.
Totally respect the better editing decision here, but I don't hate how it played out here!
They got lasers, here she come with an Registered side arm 😂 1:02
The scene they used is better. Keeps spotlight on Natasha and Clint. Plus the way Natasha saved Clint after he jumped was so impressive
I am glad they did not go with this....the one that made the final cut was way better. You really felt the love, friendship and ultimate sacrifice. ❤
It's not always about the action/fight sequence.
How is it possible we get this kind of scenes five years after the movie aired? How has this not resurfaced sooner?!

Nice! I have the Blu ray but never really explored it's bonus features so this is my 1st time seeing this.
I like Natasha's sacrifice much more here. But it's cool that they cut it.
This makes me appreciate the original scene so much more
Tense scene but Thanos don't even know where Soul Stone is, at that point of time. He found out in Infinity War when Gamora told him. So, it's impossible for him to be there.
He found out about their mission from Nebula, when past and future nebula had their chips cross wired
Still doesn't make sense that he made it there in time even with future nebula in his possession. This seems out of order
@@fasihchoudhry exactly it's probably why they went with the cut we got Thanos in timeline lore has no business even being there to begin with so it's absolutely out of place not using this saved end game from a big PLOT HOLE ------🕳️-------
If Professor Hulk was there, he would've raged.
Interesting to see the alternate cut, & even though it was heartbreaking 💔 to watch the original theatrical version... it was def the best choice for the film.
Ooooh the fact thanos was there makes me like this 1 as much as the final cut
I like the scene a lot better without thanos
Thanos (to his henchmen): "No, don't attack yet. Just watch. Let them acquire the Soul Stone first then I'll personally take it out of their hands, which will be simple and easy. Let them do the hard work."
@@thudthud5423I don’t think he would even get teleported anyways.
This is neat but I agree with the other comments and I'm glad we got the version we did instead.
Also those chitauri guns look weak af 😂Maybe Nat and Clint are just really resilient

Good thing it was cut.
Kept the focus on Nat and Clint, which made it more dramatic than this.
i had no idea this scene existed. thank you for sharing
I definitely get why they cut this scene but I’m glad that we finally get to see this
I’m definitely glad they didn’t use this scene. It takes away from the power that this was Natasha’s choice rather than, they were in a stick situation and she had to make a call.
While a interesting scene and good to see it finished, the one we did end up getting was more emotional.
Plus guess in this version Thanos got the location of the Soul Stone from Nebula who was captured, then Clint got teleported to safety by the stone after Natasha's death...

They realized that Thanos or any other opposing force wasnt needed, hits harder watching the two of them literally fight each other in order to make the sacrifice, adding an enemy takes so much away from the love part of the situation
Thank for this deleted Scene ❤❤❤
Original cut WAY better. I mean, it was basically an outplay by Natasha against Clint. That translated so well to Hawkeye when he’s confronted by Yelena. The whole point was that she was indeed “better” and that the whole reason he’s alive is that he got bested.
TYSM ml, I love the edit and I hope we can have more conversations!
I'm not crying, you're crying....
This was definitely better. Gave the scene much more needed meaning
I'm happy we didn't get this version, original one is so beautiful and it's a fight for sacrifice, this one is like they're in a rush
This is one of the possible outcomes strange saw and bro said, *"NAH!"* 😂
This alternate scene makes more impact on us
Imagine if Yelena, Natasha's adoptive sister survives the Snap and chose to get the Soul Stone with Natasha, instead of Hawkeye.
Red Skull's like "Aight, I'ma peace out"
While I do prefer what we got... this was pretty sweet.
I started laughing at first cause I thought it was edited with Star wars lasers, then a ship edited in all with AI… Took me almost quarter of the way through to realize it’s actually real lmao how have we never seen this before???
Ok that scene would have ruined the movie glad they took it out 🫡
😂😂😂 red skull didn't waant the smoke
Wow! That was insane! I miss this marvel!
😂😂good thing they had cut this down..! 🤣🤣🤣
I actually think this scene is really cool. I always felt Hawkeye and Black Widow were always outshined by the big 4 but I can also see why they cut it out. Still cool to see some epic action though.
This scene made more sense than them two fighting. It gave them no choice but to aacrifice themselves
Thanos: **kills them both**
Thanos: "ok, so how do I find the stone?"
Red Skull: "you must sacrifice someone you love."
Thanos: "...oops."
How she confidently firing Thanos with p92😂😂😂
People loving their drama... This scene makes more sense than the original. Villains actually trying to do something, instead of waiting in a big chair, smiling arrogant, waiting for the heroes to come and kick their butt.
Is this even real? It doesn't make any sense for Thanos to show up on Vormir. He didn't know where the soul stone was until Infinity War. And Clint and Nat were further in the past.
Clint and Nat are in the same timeline as Nebula and Rhodey, Nebula tried contacting Barton, but was captured. I guess in this scene Thanos was either killing the avengers or trying to get the soul stone
I'm glad they snapped this scene away
The Final Cut was a tear jerker.
Leave it up to me to have my mind in the gutter when ScarJo said hit it from the back 😂
Esta escena es simplemente perfecta muy superior a la vista en pantalla realmente este si es un final digno de la gran guerrera la verdad la otra version carecia de sentido y para mi no cuadraba en lo absoluto
I just wonder what have Captain America said after seeing red skull😂
Not only was it good they cut this because it focused better on Nat and Clint final moments together, but tactically Thanos attacking them for the soul stone did not make much sense. Thanos was missing all the other stones and 2014 He would of had to face Odin still being alive. It also mean the Avengers travelling back to 2023 would be missing the soul stone and would of been aware of Thanos searching for the stones so the Avenger likely would of been more on guard and prepared for Thanos.
It’s possible in this scene he intercepted Nebulas message, so he wanted to take down as many avengers as he could and probably get the soul stone so he could get the other five when he goes to 2023
Wait a minute, wait a minute, I have seen this one
This is classic:
Sholay climax scene😌
Loved this deleted scene
i still can't believe the writers broke the #1 rule of never use time travel to undo
prior sacrifices... We deserved a reboot called "Ultimates"
What a movie !! Brilliant
Amazing. I've never seen this and the movie has been out for 5 years.
YEAH The Movie Version was better, more tense and unpredictable. Thanos shooting Nat makes her sacrifice less of a sacrifice. But I love Renners hair!
As soon as the shooting started I was like "nah, they made the right call with the scene they picked"
Still give goosebumps
If you close your eyes and listen it could be a Star Wars scene lol
Clint in the Hawkeye series: "and I fought Thanos"
The whole Marvel Fandom: "stop the cap lol"
This deleted scene gets released showing Thanos actually in the end of the scene implying they did fought against Thanos*
Fandom: "Aight"
I love this version no doubt
how did i not know abt this and didnt see this?
Seriously, she was able to shoot and kill the aliens with the most advanced technology and armour, weapons.
Definitely made the right choice in changing the scene to what we got. It's still nice to see them get some spotlight in combat but two non super powered people with guns, tasers, knives, a sword and a bow holding off a squad of laser shooting spacecrafts doesn't quite sit right and would have simultaniously lessened the percieved danger of Thanos and his troops while also overshadowing one of the most human and touching scenes in the mcu. The scene of Widow running through open space with her arms wide open really takes away from the drama in the scene.
i'm really glad they didn't include this scene
I really didn't feel like they did enough in the avengers movies to demonstrate how close these two were to warrant any of this
Ok, I preferred the version they put in the movie, but this just made the pain feel real all over again. Not cool, Russo bros, not cool.
Damn that cut.
Oohh im glad hawkeye didnt actually die hes my favourite avenger i cant wait to see him again in the mcu
Yeah, Thanos being there wasn't necessary knowing the original scene we'd got.
Can you imagine if the theater trailers had that many spoilers 😂
