That's what they are. Make sure when you are done that the plugs stay dry when you are done or your plugs will foul out and the plug wires will need to be replaced as well
Theres two or three bolts that youll have to remove along with a PCV hose. There's also clamps you'll haveto undo. The intake piping will pop right out if the turbo (if applicable)
There's a bracket on the back right corner that's over the top of the valve cover where the bolt comes out and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is or how to get it out

Thanks for the video. Idk if it was my phone but the lighting made it hard to see some of the details
Not your phone. The lighting is abysmal!!
I found another video where you can actually SEE how to do this: ua-cam.com/video/Y-aScxyk7pM/v-deo.html
So detailed, thank you so much for that!!!!
Do you have a list of the tool you used and where to buy the valve cover gasket?
Are those 3 gaskets in the middle called spark plug tube seals? I have oil on my spark plugs so that’s why I’m asking
That's what they are. Make sure when you are done that the plugs stay dry when you are done or your plugs will foul out and the plug wires will need to be replaced as well
Thank you for putting this video out but what are the torque specs and the proper sequence ?
Where u get gasket set at
How do you remove the air box in the rear above the valve cover ?
Theres two or three bolts that youll have to remove along with a PCV hose. There's also clamps you'll haveto undo. The intake piping will pop right out if the turbo (if applicable)

400.00 ain’t that bad. My dealer wants 2k to do mine 😢
How would I know if I need a cover or gasket cause my oil leaking
Your lost likely not gonna ever need your cover replaced unless it’s messed or cracked or something. Idk how you would do that.
If your leaking oil from the cover it’s your gasket
Why don't be specific about what engine this is? Can't say it's all these years when theres different engine variations for these cars.
It’s either a 1.6/hybrid paired motor I think. The intake manifold on the 2.0 is different.
Believe it's a 1.6L for the SE with the Ecoboost. Looks like my engine and that's what I have (2013).
This is the 2.5 L engine for sure
You can spot it from the intake manifold shape and the throttle body position
its a 2.5
Do you have to drain your oil completely to do this?
No because the oil will be in the pan as long as the car is off
What are the torque specs?
106 in-lbs or about 8 ft-lbs in a criss-cross order.
Mannnnn I thought my screen was going out!!! Lol

How long is the process?
If you take your time, which you should, a valve cover gasket replacement should take an hour to an hour and a half.
I was going to pay 2000 for this!
get a light bro. you cant see anything. shouldve watched it and re-recorded the video
This doesn’t look like ford fusion 1.5 eco boost engine, it’s 100% complicated than this
