The Taneycomo Festival Orchestra provides free classical music concerts and educational programs that serve the central Ozarks. We believe that anyone can enjoy classical music performances when programs are presented in casual, educational, and accessible atmospheres. TFO brings up to 100 musicians from around the globe together to make music and expand their networks. TFO provides musicians with free housing, meals, and professional development seminars in addition to musical growth.

Wow! I tuned in out of curiosity expecting to see something sort of folkloric. I was bowled over by the incredible sound that this incongruously dressed bunch of people with instruments in their hands could actually play them. From the music they produced they are world class musicians in disguise. What a fantastical surprise!

Thank you!! One of our goals is to make classical music more welcoming for newcomers, so we don't wear traditional concert black for our performances :) But yes, most of our members are professional musicians or college-level music majors! We're glad you enjoyed the performance.
