How great was Jerry? He just rips off some great finger style licks so easily and casually here. He was easily one the best ever. Jerry, Roy, Glen...all around entertainers that did it all...just amazing guitar players the three of them. RIP Jerry.
Absolutely Jerry Reed is one of the best guitarists of all time, and the stuff he could sing while playing is insane. A pretty rare person to come about... Hilarious, world class entertainer (banter, stage presence, etc), probably the best guitar player to ever live, amazing singer amazing songwriter... I shudder to think of a world that Jerry Reed never existed.

Del Reeves really just fooled an entire generation of people that he could play guitar, I've never seen anything that you can hear what he's playing or where it impacted the song 🤷
