Jerry Reed is one of the best guitarists AND entertainers of all time. You can tell he's having a blast, and that it's genuine. To see him and Glen Campbell, pickin and grinnin on a summer day on the lake, surrounded by a huge crowd... now that's my idea of heaven. Forgive me for sounding cliche, but it really doesn't get any better than this.

    • @joq702

So right about the moment they were having there. Jerry Reed is about as pure as it gets also. His vibrant personality comes out no matter what he was doing. Makes goose bumps watching him entertain. He was of course a genius on the guitar.

I agree. Jerry Reed will go down in history as the most underrated musician, actor, and entertainer of all time. He's clearly a legendary guitarist and singer that too many may only know him as merely the Truck driver in Smokey and the Bandit.

Too many great British musicians to list ; of course the Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Who, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, can't even name all of the great bands, too many to list! I stopped in my tracks and asked who was that singing? He told me who it was. I immediately went out and bought his albums and listen to them to this day. Jerry Reed and Glen Campbell were great musicians. May They Rest In Peace.
