thank you so much Sir, it took me 41 min and some 30 from it to remove the old mounts))). Tried to use the screwdriver as you show, but the rubber was so old it is just torn out from the inner ring and the inner ring remain on the motor. It was the hardest part to remove those inner rings. Anyway it finally works, let's see my couple life cycle. It is about 3 month before today. Countdown!
Taco 1612 c rebuild I would like to see, it's all we have at our building and we are slowly removing the to bell& Gossett pumps, thank you for all your expertise have learned a lot from your show keep up the training for everyone, keep up the great work thanks.
These guys are the best. They got me information on a pump that someone put the wrong motor on. The motor was single phase but had the wrong rotation (as I suspected). Just solved a 4 year problem with a 10 minute call.
Thank you for the good instructions, use to cost me a couple of hundred dollars every time I called a plumber, but you made it so simpler that even myself could do it. once again thank you
Very detailed! Looks like you've performed that maintenance many times. Thanks for sharing your video. I'm a gal who feels pretty competent of completing this task with the help of your video. Thanks again!!
Thanks for great video. I got B&G part#W 72701 Model #601S. The coupler was making noise and now pump start leaking. I did some research. I only need to replace coupler and motor mount to stop the leak without touching bearing assembly they said. Is the true?
Why do you say to position the groove (B&G calls it the "break" or "split") in the outer ring of the mount straight up? The Instructions included in and on the back of the packaging for new motor mounts says to position it straight down. The mounts on the motor that you take off in the video are even positioned straight down. Thanks
Hi Joshua, field service professionals prefer to put the motor mount groove upwards so the weak part (groove) isn't bearing the weight of the motor. This is opposite of the instructions unfortunately but we suggest putting the mounts up. Hope this helps!
Hi Ralph - you can find the Series 60 motor mounts here: www.statesupply.com/bell-and-gossett/pump/part/motor/mount?pump_series_repaired=series-60,series-e-60 - (I work for State Supply). Give us a buzz in the morning if you have questions. Phones are live at 7am CST.
@talktomooney we sell thousands of them each year. For some reason, I am having problems posting the Web URL for the Series 60 Couplers in this comment. Feel free to give me a buzz at 877-775-7705 and ask for Tom. Thx!
Hello Jamie, the new series 60 pumps with 1.5 hp and above are C face motors which do not need the motor mounts as they get mounted directly from the face of the motor.

Excellent video start to finish. Good info. Good filming. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Good useable directions. I just had to be careful when I removed the mounts so that I did not damage the casing. Thanks.

Does anybody know where you can buy a new coupler, mine got gnarled up last weekend, and I don't want to buy a whole new pump.

The new motor mounts are solid metal? What is the point of their existence in the design, then?
Hello Jamie, the new series 60 pumps with 1.5 hp and above are C face motors which do not need the motor mounts as they get mounted directly from the face of the motor.
