6:45 Wire connector. Thanks for the water adventure Nora!
Actually it’s called a female spade connector.
That bell attached to a pincher is used by a fisherman. He can attach it to a fishing pole, go to sleep, and when a fish hits, the bell rings, he wakes up, and grabs the pole. Your videos are a favorite. Love how you dive right in there and find the good stuff. Thank you for taking us along.
Another fun hunt. Always enjoy your editing technique adding the descriptions of the found objects in your videos. Also always enjoy the drone shots and your choice of music. And of course you are looking great on the beach! Also, say Hi to your Mom!
It is a Happy Friday in the USA when Nora shares another adventure with her mom!
Love it when you Mom is with you, she really enjoys being with her daughter !
The blue plastic things are electrical connectors, generally called "fastons" they are quick connect terminals used for all kinds of wire connections. The blue plastic insulates the metal connector from touching other connections.
The gold cross!! 😍 👏👏👏
Seeee? Missing from my gold weigh in 🥲
@@NoraSvet ahahah yes that was heavy looking at least 10 more gr for you! 😉
Those little blue "pieces of plastic with metal in them" are crimp connectors for car wiring, often used for speakers and car audio or other auto electrics. You strip the wire, slip on the connector and crimp the base of the connector to grip the wire using a tool like pliers.
Love the little fishes and your mother looks really happy.
Great job Nora! I love it when Mom joins you. It reminds me of how supportive my parents were. Enjoy your time together and I hope you keep finding gold!!
Watching Nora is my Friday treat. Love these videos.
Awesome Cross! Looked like a beautiful beach and a fun dinner with your mom. Love your videos, stay safe and Happy New Year.
That was so Kool Ur Mom tried to record the sunset for Us. The viewers. Loved her actions n comments.
Great sidekick n Mother.
U two look like U have so much fun. Thumbs Up
Good day of diving & detecting. That ring is a CHUNK! And the cross is beautiful.
Blessings Nora…and Mom. This 67 year old man, from northeast Tennessee, enjoys watching your metal detecting videos. It’s truly cool to see you taking your mother along with you, on these awesome adventures.
Hi Nora! Enjoy watching you and your mom. Such a good time together. Happy New Year and hope you find awesome treasure this year! We share the same name, I am Nora too.
Love that your Mom videoed the sunset, so you wouldn’t miss it 🥰
Haha yeah that was sweet😄
Fun to see underwater metal detecting! I only dig on land for Roman and Medieval stuff! Nice video, keep up the good work! 😎👍🍀
Thank you! I bet you've found some really cool things😃
omg that water is crystal clear!
Always neat to have your mom tag along. Awesome finds.
it's so great you do all these adventures with your mom. so many families are fragmented.
That's a nice start to the new year. Fingers crossed the rest of the year is just as good for you.
Nice finds again Nora! To find the chain for the cross, assuming it was lost at the same time and proximity, turn off the discrimination and use the all metal mode. It usually works. The blue things were wire nuts. Keep hunting! Your closing in on some of my European spots 😱😂
I'll have to try that next time! Haha am I?? 😄
Not wire nuts but crimp on electrical connectors, typically used in automotive but can be used in some home electrical applications.
@@jeffheld3971 In that area most likely used for wiring on a boat. They are often used on boats just like automotive.
@@markpashia7067 I consider boats auto.
Really glad I found your channel. Every upload makes me want to start my own adventures of metal detecting.
Love the under water detecting cross looks gold great find
Love watching your videos with mom!!!! Great finds! Awesome adventure! Looking forward for more to come 👍👍👍👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Tina!😊
Love your videos Nora. The blue thing you found was a crimp-on wire connector. You should medal detect the beach as well. I'm sure a lot of people loose jewelry in the sand taking it off before they go in the water.
The best part of your video is your reactions underwater when you find something good like a gold cross. It’s awesome and natural.
I love your mom, so supportive. luv ya Nora. keep the videos coming
Hi Nora,
Thanks so much for your videos! Your videos and those of Michael's from Lost Jewelry Recovery are the reason I decided on an Excalibur when I upgraded.
I've been using an AT Pro for six years but it doesn't like saltwater much.
I'm heading to Latin America very soon and will be taking my Excalibur. How do you travel with yours? Any problems with customs or border crossings? How do you pack your machine for travel?
Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what you dig up next!
Monte
hi nora ! i enjoy all of your videos. i recently learned that the aluminum that you find everywhere is from the space shuttle challenger that exploded over the ocean in 1986
Hey Nora! Great video! Cool place! It’s awesome you get to travel the world with your mom! I didn’t think pull tabs are magnetic but they sure attracted to you! You find them everywhere you go! Again great editing! Keep em comin!
The fish are very curious! And, yes, you deserve a relaxing beach day Nora!
6:44 It's a crimp connector, used in electrical systems and cars to make electrical connections.
That ring is amazing, that's something I'd definitely buy for myself in a heartbeat if I saw it in a shop
I found a snorkel keeper today too while detecting 😆 they're handy little things! The shades suit you 😁
Thanks Nora ,and her mom, best of luck, your due for a diamond,,a nice diamond !😊
Thanks for keeping me going with your detecting love every video Canada says Keep warm and please keep detecting!!!!
Thanks Ron! Glad you're enjoying the videos 😊
That food looks so good. Nice finds Nora!
I like your flipper method of sand fanning lol That works surprisingly well 👍
You had a great day out there with some really kewl finds. Nice job 👍👍
Great finds, Nora. What a beautiful beach
Thank you for all the videos. Be safe and happy detecting. Stay away from pull tabs. lol
I like how you use the swimming fin to wobble away the sand. :D Effective and looks cute xD
Another amazing video!!
Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Great video Nora happy new year to you
Yay! More Nora Svet! I love your videos my friend.
Miss Nora, a most excellent adventure! I love the sounds recorded while you are in the water, always reminds me of my adventures with the EXCALIBUR. Your mom has awesome patience waiting for you to emerge from the sea! Your a lucky girl! Stay safe. And as mentioned below by someone else definitely switch to pinpoint to find the chain ⛓️.
Thanks Mark!! I'll have to try pinpoint mode on a chain to see if it will pick it up. I think I've tried before but I don't think it worked😄
The thinner the chain the harder to find it of course and the Excalibur is definitely not the best at chains. But the Excalibur has happily surprised me with a few when I switched to the pinpoint mode. It's always worth a couple minutes anyway 😉. Now go get back to the beach! 🏝️🤿
Good hunt Nora. Couple months ago i found a gold "medallion" (?) that had come off a chain. I too spent a few raking through the sand. Still don't understand how it can come off the chain. Mine was stamped on the hoop where it hung off the chain. Happy hunting this year.
Always love to watch Nora.you are amazing! thank you.
Love your interaction and relationship with your mum Nora! Enjoy it:-) Lovely finds of course! Hope you're having a great new Year!? 2022 has been good for me so far ...3 hunts quite a few coins etc, but also 1st of jan, Silver ring with little diamonds, next a little cute nurses watch and yesterday another little ring ... 🙂 Obviously not QUITE as cool as your finds!
Bravo Nora, meilleure année à vous deux
nice to see there is at least some fish left in the Med cool finds
If you have a simple glass measuring piece common (and dirt cheap) called a graduated cylinder and a cheap balance, you can approximate what metals you have... really easy, basically drop your metal thing in to the cylinde with a known amount of water that you can read on the side, the metal thing will displace it's volume and the water will rise that amount. You can than take the weight of the dried metal piece (before or after) and that will give you the density. You can than look that up in a table for metal density and figure out what you have there... its actually really quick and old metal traders used to do that to figure out if some has handed them a metal bar with gold coating or a real gold bar.
Hello Nora! I have been watching your videos for a bit now and always love how excited you get when you find jewelry. I have a question for you tho. In regards to the aluminum that you find, is it shaped like that due to being in the water and beat on the rocks and sand for so long? And any idea what some of the pieces were before you found them? The cans are usually small I understand, but some of the pieces seem shaped so strangely and at times are bulky and have amazing shapes to them. And what do you do with those pieces anyway?
Nice to see your mother in your adventures. Well done Nora.
Great finds and Happy New Year
How nice of your mum to record the sunset, great initiative, you should get her started on her own channel!
It's nice to see the beach and ocean when it is 15° where I am today. The gold cross was an excellent find. Thanks for the vid. Does your mom like hanging out on the beach while you are working?
Thanks Mike! Yeah she hangs out/ relaxes and goes for swims 😊
Nice day in the water. Pretty good meal for coming in late. Thanks for the footage.
Always love to see Mom! You are blessed!
Hi Nora, love all of your videos!
I've the Excalibur II as well and in a comment you said that the MD changes notes depending also on the shapes, not only on the metal type. Thanks, I've never noticed that!! Please, continue posting videos, nature, sunsets, smiles and (hoping) some treasures ahah
Big hug from Italy!!
Hi Lorenzo! Glad you've been enjoying the videos and I hope the Excalibur brings you some amazing treasures 😃
SUPER AWESOME! Happy hunting and be safe! 🏴☠️🛫🛫🛫
Great video Nora 🇬🇧🥰
Thanks Nora. Fun stuff!
Hi Nora,
Save all the aluminum if you can. Can sell it by the pound at metal scrappers. It will be worth alot more in the future.
Even cooler is if you have a friend that knows how to smelt and cast metals. Could melt down the aluminum, lose the impurities and cast it into ingots or bars for fun. They can do that if you have any silver you want to melt down too, or recast into new jewelry.
6:46 that's an electrical Connector, quite common to wire accessories on a Vehicle
You should put a strong magnet in your kit. If the magnet sticks, it’s not silver or gold. Quick way to determine when on the road. ;)
Great cross and chunky ring! Fashionable Ray Ban glasses too!
Enjoy your adventures and videos tremendously and it is also great that you ladies can enjoy the experience together. I believe it is time your mother joins you in the water, you'll love it.
Thanks Bernie! Haha I've tried to convince her but she'd rather not 😄
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
The blue plastic things are 14-16GA electrical spade connectors.
Cool vida Nora. Nice finds
great video Nora. keep em coming THANKS
❤️
The blue plastic pieces with wires are Sta-Kon connectors, the bell is a strike indicator for fishing as you suspected.
So cool ! I have a Garrett AT-Pro I use for land hunting. Love it. I would really like to try this..
Another great day. That ring looks huge and I bet when you test the pendant it's probably gold. It just has the "look" about it.
Please have mom try to pronounce more fun words in American! Burgers = AhBoogaahs 😆Love her accent!!
Love watching your venture fantastic items you have recovered, I hope to find harfe of the item. God bless
Another great hunt, be safe.
Love the big ring, pretty impressive.
Cheers
Brad
Thank you so much for your absolutely brilliant content . Also your footage is made very easy to watch with you been amazingly beautiful. Thanks.
Hi, Nora. Good to see your mum along with you on this beach detection trip. Had to laugh when you tried to get her to metal detect for you 😂. Lots of aluminium, as usual, but also some good finds. I was hoping the chunky ring was at best white gold or at least silver. Can you let us know at a later time whether the pendant cross is gold, pls? My fingers are crossed 🤞🏽. Thanks for another great video. Stay safe 👍🏽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
That sailor ring looked so good, when are you coming to England Nora ? Mudlarking by the Thames in London perhaps !?
Ty for the video Nora it's always a pleasure. I love seeing you spend soo much time with mom, my mom has been gone about 5 years now and I miss her every single day. Please keep the videos coming and tell Mom I said Hello.
Good B roll and drone shot
Awesome video Nora! 🙂👍
Hi Nora awsome video !
That looks like a pretty long
Beach you could probably dive that all week !
You look like a skypilot with the raybands !
What country is that in?
Minus 10 c here today
You are a natural commentator for your sponsor !
Have a great day !
I am going out and putting another blankey on the garden nome !
Thanks Carl! Yeah the beach is super lonnnng! In France and hahaha maybe I am ✈️ 😄
nora is the real treasure
Awesome finds! Nice Video. Greetings from Germany
Great finds, great beach. HI Mom. If you find a cross like that, the chain should be nearby. Does a mesh scoop not work better?
You guys look fantastic at dinner.
Love your hunts Nora, your mum is adorable. I love the way she tries so hard for you. Her English is getting better :)
Thanks for another great video.
Amazing, you're litterally where I live ! Your videos are very relaxing and interesting
Great finds. Your mom is such a patient person to wait on the beach for you for hours. I detect on land and know how many hours can zip by without realizing it.
Wow che crocefisso il top. Ciao Nora🇮🇹
Nice location and great fines And the food in the restaurant looks nice
Hello Nora! Greetings from Latvia! Great underwater hunting! The Golden Cross is great! Good luck! Laik
I enjoy your videos good Luck in 2022
Looks like an anchor molded on the cross.
The blue plastic things are called 'Lucar Connectors' and are for connecting automotive wiring and designed in the U.K. Nice video as always.
The jewelry in Europe is for sure always with stamps! It’s not usually unstamped. 😊❤
