The most amazing thing is that Nmixx had faulty microphones and they shot a video from one take. Everyone who previously performed here used microphones that correct vocals ("It's live" also processes the vocals of idols), they are the only ones who sang truly live without voice processing

Since these are less sensitive mics, they are using these so that the sound of the band/instruments in the back will not be picked up by the mic. Given that they will not have post production on their vocals, they need these mics to kind of isolate the vocals.
Whats even crazier than this live raw performance without post production whatsoever? Is this: Tiny Desk usually use dynamic microphones, which is the usual "stage" mics like this -> 🎤 . However for NMIXX's performance, they used small diaphragm condenser microphones. These are usually used in more of a studio setting. These type of mics are used to capture the purest and most natural form of sound, without any added color. These mics are meant to pick up a wider range of sound even more so than regular condenser mics. This is why if you listen closely, you can even hear them opening and closing their mouths, as in the sound when their lips open and close. That's how sensitive these mics are. So the choice of using these types of mics could go either risky, or brave. But in this case, its sonic perfection 👍.
