- Disney World has SO many restaurants, it’s almost impossible to decide where to eat! Molly is headed to a popular sit-down spot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Yak and Yeti. Is the food here good enough to spend an hour of your park day inside? Or is this a pass? One thing’s for sure - there’s a great staircase in there.

The Landrys card has saved us 2-3 hour waits multiple times at Disney. Particularly at Yak and Yeti
Yak and Yeti does a great job at catering to those with certain food allergens and specialty diets. The chef came out to our table and helped me decide what menu items would be best for my specific needs and was genuine in making sure I felt comfortable with my choices. Once the food was prepared, the chef delivered the items and followed up to see how everything was. The food was fantastic and I was completely blown away how much care went into our experience. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Molly, I saw you (or your doppelgänger) at Disney Springs a couple days ago! I didn’t say hi because you were walking to your car and I thought it might make it weird if I hung out of my window screaming your name. Plus, I would have embarrassed my ultra sophisticated 15 year old son who was in the car with me.
Thanks Molly! I love the “inside” look at the restaurants so I know where I want to take my family to eat. I was wondering if one day you could take your nieces or nephews along to a park and get a kids point of view? If that’s allowed, it would be totally cool for kiddos to see it from their vantage point! Thanks for all you do!
Those might be my favorite set of ears!! So jealous of a) Molly’s collection and b) the fact she can wear them all day and not get a headache.
I love this kind of reviews, because im planning my first ever trip to Disneyworld and im on a budget so knowing what to pass on and what you wont regret trying is very helpful!

The pineapple wontons is why we get a reservation at yak and yeti. The food is okay but that’s one of our favorite desserts in the whole park.
I love the friend wontons! Yak & Yeti is our go-to restaurant every time we go to AK!

Hey, I requested this! I'm glad you decided to take on this! I do plan on trying this restaurant in mid September so I'm excited to give it a try! I'd love to see you try out Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant, I know it's popular and that the atmosphere is really cool! I've always wondered about it for years!

Those portions look huge! Maybe it was the angle, but the nachos looked like they could feed a small family. How many people could share them?

The rewards program we have had for over 20 yrs. they send a $25 for your bday and anniversary of sign up but if you don’t have a landry near you- you can have the gift held/deferred until you activate it again. Great program!!

Yak and yeti is my family’s don’t miss restaurant! Glad you liked it too. Other AK places get all the love but decor is great. Wonderful break in your park day especially upstairs by the windows. Don’t forget to order the chocolate cake❤️

I love this restaurant! It’s the only full service restaurant I know in Disney Parks besides Prime Time that does take out service. 🙂 The quick service next to it has some of the same dishes as the restaurant. Same food! Tastes excellent!
Can you get that desert at Yak & Yeti to-go/pickup? I'd love to try just that but we're eating at Tusker House when we're there.
Hello Molly, My family and I ate at yak and yeti and it was wonderful. Our waiter recommended the daily special of an asian glazed flat iron steak with tempura shrimp with stir fry veggies, rice and yum yum sauce. Try it because it was tasty.
Molly, I love my cream cheese to so much I’ll put a huge portion on my plate, and get an apple cut or strawberries or if you have to rough it get a piece of celery there you go. Yum! Thank you Molly!
Of the memories. Was one of my favorites until I couldn't afford Disney any more. TIP if a fruit drink is too sweet, ask for some lime and stir in the fresh lime juice.
Yak & Yeti is a must-do for my family. i love the Chicken Tikka Masala. They have several menu selections for the vegans in our group.
I've only eaten there once in 2019, and I think they sat you exactly where I sat. Table for 2 by the window. :)
Go to Erin McKennas at Disney Springs and do a dessert review there with Sprinkles, Ganachery, Ghirardelli, and EM.

I have a REQUEST! Many such as myself are adventurous eaters.. but I have a 12 yr old son who is autistic and he's an extremely picky eater! He only eats chicken tenders as his protein. And there is no other option for him so somewhere that has grilled chicken is just NOT an option. We're talking sensory processing disorders here. So it makes it difficult when I want to eat somewhere cool but also need to go to a place that has chicken tenders. Which.. actually isn't a lot of places! Most places have kids meals themed to that restaurant like.. let's say Le Cellier... they have a little steak dinner or even grilled chicken tenderloins and mac n chz but for my little guy who only eats tendies that's just not gonna cut it. We usually have to wait in line somewhere at a QS somewhere and get him tendies (there's only 2 places in MK that have tendies rn! Forget about EPCOT!) and bring them with us to where we want to eat and it takes so much time out of our day. And when it comes to our most special kids it can be really hard to find a place that can suit both of us. I think that would be a challenge! Chicken tender challenge!

The tuna sounds lovely, what sort of chips do they use? I l know nachos are usually corn chips, which I don't like.

The best burger i had in my life is there. I know what you're think a burger is a burger no it definitely is not they made a believer out of me the Kobe Beef Burger was delicious i think about it ever time i have a burger anywhere else.

Lol I dont really understand any fried foods, honestly why make unhealthy things even more unhealthy.
Been here twice and was not impressed either visit. However portions are massive and the detail and service are lovely but if food quality is what matters you may want to eat elsewhere.
I ate there a year ago, the service was terrible, the food was average never again!
