Thanks, we're glad the video was helpful! : ) If you'd like assistance in finding your perfect diamond, feel free to contact sales@goodoldgold.com with your request and we'd be happy to make you a personalized video like this one and send it over to you. Often customers will find a promising diamond on another website and see if we could get our hands on it as well for the video comparison. On top of that, (assuming we have access to it) we should be able to beat the listed price!
My favourite cut of all time the flash you get from an emerald cut is amazing . I would take either. But the top one. Or the left one on your fingers has the edge for me 💍💙💜
Is it bad to have red in the center of an emerald cut ASET? And is it better to have more red across the board or just a sense of symmetry to the color?
In most cases a Red center in an Emerald will produce a very powerful beam of light. However when the light is hitting the diamond from a different angle, those facets could turn dark. Most of my customers want a mix of red, green, and blue in the Aset of an Emerald because when the diamond's in motion, the light will dance throughout the diamond in a balanced fashion. If it's a virtual diamond and you would like to send us over a link to the Aset image you're viewing, we'd be happy to give you our opinion. If so, just add the link in your replay.
The ratio seems nice as long as your not looking for a diamond that has a (shorter/wider) feel to it. A diamond with those measurements would look closer to a 1.5ct diamond.

Hey Jessica, we apologize for the delayed response. We've been short on staff due to the circumstances. Feel free to contact sales@goodoldgold.com if you would like a price estimate on two similar diamonds (2ct J VS1 & 1.5ct J VVS2 - Emeralds). Many of our customers have asked us in the not to post the price estimates of their diamond on our UA-cam channel because it's often seen by their friends or spouse and they rather keep that info confidential. But we'll be happy to offer you an estimate via email. Thanks for your understanding and stay safe!
This is an excellent video, one of the best comparisons out of all that I have seen on UA-cam.

What was her ring size
That's a great question. If my memory serves me right, I believe she as a size 6 or something close to that.
💚🕊GOD
2ct makes a large difference.
Could you share the dimensions in mm of both?
If my memory serves me correct, I believe the 1.5ct is (8.01mm x 5.57mm) and the 2ct is (8.70mm x 6.01mm)
@@GOGDiamondLab would an emerald that was 7.76 x 5.20 x 3.33 be considered a 1 or closer to 1.5ct?
Also would it be an ideal L/W ratio? thank you!
