Loved this video! Seeing all those beautiful places was such a treat! We always feel like we're right in the truck with you. Thank you for another great adventure.
I loved this video! My parents used to "winter" each year in Naples and even though Naples is very different now, this video took me down memory lane! ❤
Love your videos, specifically your Florida videos. I live in NY and can only dream of Florida vacations and your videos help me to experience those places that I can only wish to visit.
Wow! Naples is nice…just like what I have read on travel articles. Amazing sunset and ocean views! Thanks for an engaging and interesting vlog! The food looks yummy! Thank you…feels like summertime already. 🥂🧉
Well done Robert. Sorry we missed you when you were here. We enjoy riding our bikes on that same path that you were riding your e-bike on in your intro. Love Snook Inn too. Next time for a sunset dinner, check out Stiltz at the Marriott on Marco. It’s an elevated beachfront restaurant/bar with good food & great beach & sunset views. Great ending for a good season.
I love the way you put us in your vehicles and we are there right beside you. I so enjoy your comentary of places you travel to. I have even picked up some cooking tips from you. I hope to be able to travel down to Florida this winter .I tell my family about you and your adventures. I look forward to many more of your videos.
This video got me in a bit of a philosoical mood. Do you sufficiently realize how rich you are Robert? You are way richer then all the owners of those fancy waterfront properties. The liberty to go on the road with your Minitinie in tow and discover and expirience new places is something that can't be overstated. Don't be envious of those magnificent mansions! I really hope your wife enjoys it as much as you do. She must be sacrifising a lot when she goes out on those long trips with you. Anyhow, thx for taking me along for the ride, I really felt like I was on holiday with thios one. happy travels!
Hi Robert i'm French and I discovered florida through your videos I came to florida in 2019 and naples is the place I liked the least.it's a very "bling bling" city for rich people.there is not much to do and see. I return to florida at the end of the month for 2 weeks at Key Largo,Everglades city and Sanibel.
Perhaps you should have taken a little closer look. On the east side of Naples, the Golden Gate Estates area has many beautiful homes in all price ranges. It is the largest planned community in the country, but with the freedom of doing pretty much what you like. Mostly large lots and very secluded areas. It is the fastest-growing area of Naples.
Yet again a wonderful episode! That church in Ave Maria is amazing. Well documented sir. Enjoyed so much in this episode, especially the cooking and "voyeuristic peeking", spying on the unsuspecting wealthy neighbors who weren't counting on your zoom lens--ROTF. Cheers to another great season of adventures in the books!
Hi Robert. I love this video. Florida Naples is beautiful. I well go to Florida one day. The mansions were awesome . That dolphin just wanted to show off for u cuz u were taping it. The cooking was good. It was the best video ever. Thank u and good work. Excellent👍🌴
Thanks for the very interesting and beautiful vlog. I like to go to the beach at the end of avenue5 right downtown.. I guess I've always lucked out. It's just a cul-de-sac not much parking. I've always been able to park there and stroll down to the beach. The water is stunning that's my favorite Beach to go to in Naples. In fact I've never been to the one you go to 😆
Robert enjoyed all of your videos. I am here in Ft Myers and I always see things in your videos that I never take the time to go look at. Having opened up your Pelican camp in the big bend area I am surprised you haven't done one on Cedar Key. Kind of reminds me how the Keys use to be. Anyways thank you for all your travels and insight... Never miss the new ones on Sunday mornings.
Do you use an air fryer? One can cook everything in it, bacon, whole chickens, toast, reheat French fries, and beef jerky. It also keeps grease out of the air.
Love it! Robert (or anyone) do you have the lyrics to Desert Rain? Love that song too. Hope your Lewis and Clark Trip is a blast, just did one myself recently.
Naples is like west palm beach county but more conservative Not much night life no amphitheater for concerts the city is all about money and 90% part time residents year round working class are out in the county but are being priced out .you hit the perfect spot for content at the snook inn to watch boat's and a meal. Ave Maria was started by the former owner of dominoes pizza it's also a dry town
I live in Naples year round and raise my family here- we own a farm. The city of Naples and Naples are two very different worlds. Both in Collier Co. Tin City is a tourist trap. it's overpriced crap. Anything in downtown Naples and The City Of Naples, will be extremely expensive when you can drive a little more into town and be hella cheaper and meet year-round locals who live a simpler life , who aren't millionaires and don't really venture to the City lol!
@@TravelingRobert exactly!! It makes me chuckle when people visit (not you) like the snowbirds and don’t venture out into the real town. People assume everyone is rich & living the dream when most of us are blue collar hardworking families scraping Pennies to get by. We don’t get to use the beaches until after June due to influx of tourists who clog it all up lol!!! Most of us are out here in the swamps with little farms. Next time you’re out this way check out golden gate estates section of Naples - very rural compared to downtown. There’s restaurants with genuine Everglades food like crackling jacks and sawgrass grill .
Lived here all my life, people moving out natives being run out.rich is taking over here.rents rediculus high.working family can't even afford the rents here natives.sad but true.many charges over the years.not like it use to be.
I think I'm finally over the Florida aesthetic. It's all become so...monolithically prosaic. These days I feel more at home when surrounded by pastoral landscapes and revivalist architecture. To each his own, of course.
Hello Robert enjoying your videos hope all is well with you Florida is so beautiful, here in California is also beautiful except for the outrageous gas ⛽️ prices and radical leadership. I could see why so many are moving to your part of the nation. I love your Governor there. would like to see more videos of Florida! ☺️
As a 32 year resident of Naples I can say the politicians are Midwest mongoloids that come from dilapidated towns are property taxes are high as hell impact fees to build anything on a lot is 55grand you need a permit for any thing think republican/but everything the complete opposite
I have been living in Ave Maria for the past six years. I went to school at the University, am now a teacher in Naples, and work at the Pub and Grill of Ave Maria. It's awesome seeing our little town from a different perspective! Thanks for visiting!
Robert, you should have stopped by Oil Well Craft Brew in Ave Maria and had an IPA! Lot of people come to Ave Maria for just this place alone . Missed opportunity brother.
Naples is nice but is overbuilt, over crowded, and very expensive. So expensive that local businesses are having a hard time finding good employees being that the average employee cannot afford to live there, nor wanna make the commute. Especially during peak season.
We love Happy eggs, but we've never seen the ones in the blue carton. We had to pause your show and look them up. 😂 We love all that you post, but I especially love videos of your Florida excursions. We missed the, "fly pelicans"! 😂 That was an incredible sunset!! Thanks for sharing and making us feel like we're a part of your rv-life. ❤️
Robert, not that I don't enjoy all of your videos but this one was particularly great. I loved seeing all of the houses when you were on the boat. Great video! Great job!
Thanks for this segment Robert. This is my hometown since the 60s and man has it changed! Some things still seem the same like Tin City and the pier...still a really cool place. ⛱️
I used to ride my bike thru port royale. I was from the everglades but drove to the city daily to go there. I became friendly w the cops and even some residents by joking about the constant drive by stares, but it's hilarious because 90% of traffic in royale is ppl drooling at the houses. There's a point where it dead ends and I went into that area one time when it was completely open . My god. The guy that owns the end cap also owns the land on the other side where the private inaccessible island is. The property is valued at over 100million. He basically owns the inlet . Cops told me there's more suicides going on in port royale than ppl would imagine but there money buys a lot of quiet. There's one mega mansion so big that the city put signs telling ppl to not stare and take pictures. They said Ted Turner and Tom cruise were owners. The one where they purchased the lot in front of it also. Giving them clearance across the street w no neighbors. Also the founder of ace Marie is the owner of Dominoes. Anyone can move in but it's his breakaway planned society for some post apocalyptic idea town. I know all the wacky stuff no one's going to tell you. If you you were brave Robert you would've taken a spin thru immokalee lol. Ppl have no idea but that entire town is created for modern day slavery in the orange fields. For some reason they have a casino but that place is good asf. As much contrast as you could fathom when compared to port royale.
I love the clear blue-green waters of the gulf coast...hope to be dipping my toe in them soon (well, more than just my toe, actually 🙂) One thing I learned about sunsets is don't give up on them too soon. A friend once said, "Just wait, you never know, magic happens!"
Naples is beautiful but you pay even to breathe. The rental is crazy. One bedroom apartment is no less than $1,800 and if seasonal is much much more. Naples is nice for the rich people
I dig how Robert tries the local beers and gives gentle criticism of establishments which fall short.
Oh Yeah. Its the return of Robert.
It's been so long.
Looking good

How is Naples different now from the past? I may be heading down there for a little vacation/holiday this summer.
@@ohaggie when my mom was there, Naples wasn't as super developed as now and much less busy.

what lovely houses

Watching on my TV
Hey Robert I love your videos I love Florida I want to live there so bad that I'm stuck in West Virginia I love to watch the videos

I spent many a great sunsets,,, dozens and dozens of them ,,,, at the Naples beach hotel and golf club but I guess they're tearing that down now..
