It's 2024, and I'm still revisiting this incredible moment for our country. I also live in New York City, and I was thrilled on election day. I miss him so much, and that feeling of hope he gave us.
imagine lining up for a newspaper in the 21st century digital age... but if i were there i would have bought one too and framed it... was history unfolding
To be sure Trump will never be as great as this man was. But now he'll be remembered for trying to overthrown the nation because he lost. Our history books will talk about how close we came as a nation to losing our freedoms because that man couldn't be a man and face the fact he lost to a far better man and human being.
I once met a man who was in Time Squares watching on the big screens two major events in US history: September 11th and the networks calling the 2008 Election for Obama
The Choices that American made in 2008 were bad Choices its either a Super liberal like Obama who is from Kenya or John Magain who is a Liberal like Obama either Choice was bad to me the United States is Lost because the had bad Choices to choose from Either one can really fix the Economy you People in New York I hope you suffer for it He never fix the Economy
11 years ago. I cant even begin to describe the level of change that has happened. The right cares about its almighty dollar and how they can use it and the government to control people. The Obama administration wasn't perfect. His use of executive orders only made legislative issues worse. But whew, in hindsight im glad we dodged Romney in 2012. I think McCain would have surprised a few people but the chance will never come. Nowadays im a centrist(from a global political perspective) which means in right wing America im a loony liberal now.
@@chriswoo2289 i apologise for generalising you. People can change as I have after falling in the right wing rabbit hole. Challenging biases makes us better people. Thank you for this response Christopher.

lmfao as soon as those cadettes came on i * knew * right away they'd all be mccain supporters...
More importantly, they were supporters of this nation.
Rockies Dude Even more importantly, they are uneducated
Thanks Froggy/Trumpster, I appreciate you clarifying that for me.
Mccain was a good man, Obama was the super candidate. 100% the best political campaigner last 50 years.
Trump will never pull that off
He will. If he loses in november.
@@indertat93 oh I'm excited that sounds even better

@@ltstar9612 You’re a great person for acknowledging your mistake of judgment. Seriously it seems like we don’t have that trait around anymore.
