I second this 💯. As someone who was unhoused for 10 months. I lived in my car for 2 weeks before I was able to get a bed at a homeless shelter. It was the scariest 2 weeks of my life. I didn't sleep for the first 48 hours. Thankfully the shelter helped me find Section 8 housing. I'm so very happy Lt. Dan is ok. Housing should be a HUMAN RIGHT!
was homeless for most of my adult life.. At 16 i was out on my own. Now 44 and finally got into a apartment.. Now just working on keeping my truck on the raid..SO i understand Dans mindset
I was homeless for about a year and a half. I was almost gonna be homeless again but thankfully my case worker found me a new voucher that my husband can get signed onto as well and so Ill be moving there. My ex bf got me kicked out of my current home so my husband and I have to be out by the 28th or 29th of his month which is why I'm very happy that I'm getting a new voucher.
No can do renovate those abandon malls for families! The code inspector will have a cow! Go down to Mexico where it costs less because of less codes. 👍🏻 cheap housing, great weather, great food and a wonderful people!
I dont feel bad for they guy. He obviously wanted to stay with his belongings, he has no car, probably no family either so i get it. He wasnt mad or upset it was just another day for him. Honestly he will probably have more problems now that kick gave him $100k. Just enough for him to loose his benefits then they will forget about him. That part i worry about for dan.

I get that, I would stay too if I were him. I feel that people injecting themselves into his life for views will only hurt the poor guy. if he makes $100k this year and looses his benefits, do you think kick is gonna support this guy In a year? I don't. That's all.

Literally my kids and I have had to resort to staying at my toxic parents house, because we are homeless..
