I could complain about Farfa playing PACMAN poorly, but instead I'll complain about him being given a list that is 40% monsters. 10 was the upper limit for that deck to function properly. You see too many monsters and the deck does literally nothing.
@joaquinriosrodriguez7316 3 lacooda, 3 scarabs, 3 golem sentry, 1 locusts is honestly plenty, side additional locusts if needed. You can also swap some number of sentry for Medusa Worm if you're worried about the bounce not being good enough. Those 5 additional slots can go for more control tools. Even poor card advantage trades like Raigeki Break could do the job, as once you're in control you're drawing extra cards off Des Lacooda every turn.
@@joaquinriosrodriguez7316having Medusa worm, golem sentry, and swarm of scarabs is very redundant. I personally don't play Medusa worm and have 2 scarab and 2 golem with the others in the side. The most important part of this deck is the traps and you need to ALWAYS have them

How nice of you to play PACMAN when new pacman support was just released in master duel. You know that new card? Swarm of Centipeeds? To go along with scarabs and Locusts
I still tried to use pacman in master duel's time travel (2010) event, 😅 updated from previous time travel event to the 2010's md banlist.. Love pyramid turtle... can search Lacooda, Patrician of darkness, spirit reaper .... plus this time, monster reborn was still banned but the zombie has Book of Life for all the zombies mentioned ...
CmiIw I think you should accumulate advantage first, playing the deck... Des Lacooda is the priority/main monster, protect it and resolve it as much as possible, and along the way you added more and more layers of the battle floodgates and the "swarm of" monsters in the field....
Farfa missed an incredibly weird move; could have not flipped Golem Sentry before activating LLAB, putting it into face up defense. Then you can use Golem’s self-flip effect and then flip summon it to keep the tempo while always ending in face up defense. Super strange edge case though.
The biggest and most important thing about playing Pacman is the eventual realization you have that since they don't get their effects if they're attacked, you're not getting their effects till your next turn. They're all small little guys that die to a stiff breeze, you might as well just normal summon the damn things to play around NoC.
P.A.C.M.A.N.!!!! I love this deck. Even though it is more control heavy by necessity than I typically enjoy, there is just something about this specific one.
man seeing Farfa has the biggest monster in his hand and REFUSE to summon it in ATK mode for 3 whole turns while he is getting killed by the tiny monsters on board is just PAIN. Using PACMAN doesnt mean you HAVE to set and flip those monsters you know. JUST WALK OVER THEM if you are bigger
Ngl I would love to see an episode with probably one of my favorite decks which was Crusadia guardragon kaiju it was a cheap deck and low rarity but was definitely a fun deck to play for regional, local, and casual
I played PACMAN quite a bit back in the day... Flip monsters should be 3 Lacooda, 2 Medusa Worm, 1 Golem Sentry, 2 Locusts. Then run 3 Giant Rat... It searches everything except the Locusts, and you can face-down and flip the searched monster immediately, getting you the draw, destruction, or bounce you need. A single Call of Haunted to end phase summon a lost flip is great for same reason. Or if you want the burn version, take out Medusa for Scarabs, put in 2 Stealth Bird, and use Tomato instead of Rat. Also run 3*Magic Drain. Best case scenario you get a free negate of Xout or Heavy... But since spells were run in such low numbers back then and were very game-breaking, whether you get the negate or they discard, the triple drain made for a much more secure board.
There is a monster which increases it's atk every time a magic card was activated. Pair that with gearfried and butterfly dagger for ♾️ atk. Double summon, call of the haunted etc. ensures you have the monsters. Heavy storm and feather duster clears the way. Jinzo is your wing man, and sometimes win condition. Not sure if royal magical library was out as yet. Normal summoned monster, probably light. Can't remember its name at all. Butterfly dagger got banned after this.
Why didn’t he Nobleman the bugs that he knew Farfa had in the first duel after his initial smoke bomb? 25:40 - Farfa could’ve booked Sangan and popped it with Locusts, then Swords. That way Sangan was gone and he had protection from Lv2, a weaker monster for direct attacks.
The discussion about using Compulse to save Flip monsters from Crossout doesn't really add up. At least in this PACMAN build, there are no flip monsters at all. Just effects that trigger on Flip Summon.
Sure is interesting how Farfa always gets a deck that is directly countered by whatever deck Joseph "Mono Blue Tron" Rothschild (yes, those Rothschilds) is playing.
Farfa I love ya, but a few times you could've just normal summoned the golem with the level limit up and your monster could've sat in face up def and that stupid samurai couldn't do anything. Good games tho.
Farfa, you got sucked into the PACMAN logic when you could have just crashed Locusts into Sangan. Would force a search to go off but what could they summon that's worse?
Farfa should have flipped Golem and activated area B and left it face up. If only Farfa topdecked NoC in game 2, he could have punished MBT setting the Golem so hard.
Farfa is not very well versed in the old school yugiohs. Sure the decklist was bad, but in a super slow format like OG yugioh, you only had to go 1on1 most of the time, and he had plenty of chances to out samurai, and instead of killing a zero defense monster, he elected to just let it tear him apart. As for MBT... you could have gotten your blast with chain off earlier in game 2. You could have equipped it to golem, and it would have went off.
gosh the question "was MST even out" dude xD and ... please for the love of good let these players get actually help either from old school players that PLAYED during that time or active Goat Format players (which have a different mind set of deckbuilding compared to us back then) also almost EVERY deck run Mystical Swordsman Lvl 2 because you had access to it via rota (together with Exiled Force and DD Warrior Lady)
