Gotta love the magic of the 80s, lol. My dude Michael just painted an entire F-Body in an enclosed trailer packed with expensive computer equipment full of static electricity, filled it with highly flammable vapor, with no respirator on his face, while using a paint gun with no air hose attached. And turned out a flawless black finish. The man is a legend. Lol
It takes a true badass to respray an entire car in one minute with NO Spray booth, NO prep, NO AIR HOSE on the spray gun AND do it in a fine leather jacket!
I looked down the comments to see if anyone had said this 😂 you can even see he's spraying over dirt and mud. The hoff doesn't mess about when it comes to his paint jobs.
I'd say that this is a more thorough explanation of what happened to this highly sophisticated mesh between automobile and supercomputer. My presumption would be that prior to KITT's destruction, KITT's memory banks absorbed knowledge and experience from his interactions with Michael and his own personal experiences. By all mathematical logic (as powered by KITT), it is statistically impossible for a car to drive on two wheels. Yet with Michael at the wheel, he has shown KITT it IS possible. Conversely, KITT assumed that his molecular bonded shell and his design made him indestructible. Goliath, the Urban Armored Assault Vehicle (using a destabilizing agent on the bonded shell), and that acid bath has shown him not to be indestructible. For the longest time, KITT's supercomputers measured his efficiency (or reduction in efficiency over the years), and as such, required routine maintenance from a cybernetic technician (Bonnie or April) to reduce the amount of wear and tear done to KITT over the years. Like with anything machine, newer machines operate better, more powerful, and most efficient when new as opposed to used. KITT's primary function is for the preservation of life, including human life. And especially the life of Michael Knight. Michael Knight - the man whom KITT has spent most, if not all of his time with. Throughout the seasons, fans of the show have seen KITT's capability, humanity, and interaction over the seasons improve because he still absorbs data about his interaction with humans. Now that KITT is like a new machine again (but without his human companion and his primary purpose), he doesn't know how to adjust himself. Especially since the human who interacted with him wasn't in the driver's seat to learn from and be more confident with himself as an autonomous supercomputer. KITT was also second guessing the abilities of his molecular-bonded shell, despite what could be considered Michael's blind faith in its ability to preserve KITT and himself when facing impossible obstacles. Could KITT's molecular bonded shell protect himself and Michael through a wall of reinforced concrete? Absolutely. Well, just so long as it wasn't coated with a chemical meant to destabilize that bonded shell and weaken KITT's indestructibility. KITT knew that wasn't the case. But he wasn't sure if Michael was going to be hurt when they went through the brick wall. Therefore, KITT's primary directive for the preservation of human life overridden KITT's logic (and Michael's confidence in KITT) and KITT saw that it was logical to stop before going through the wall. As time goes on, Michael interacting with KITT could give KITT the confidence he needs to have faith in his molecular bonded shell to blast through impossible obstacles once again. (Notice how KITT wasn't needed to Turbo Boost through the building's walls or over the toxin pit in this episode?) Such attention to details makes ALL the difference between a GOOD show to a GREAT show.

😄 Nice disco show with those lights at the beginning. For sure they have very deep meaning :)
Kitt will never die he is Amazing Car
Michael Knight is the quickest most efficient car painter...🤔 love when Michael shoves head into backseat and holds tight onto the wheel b4 turbo boost!!
It's 2021 and I just got into knight rider. Such a treat I been missing all my life
Least this explains how Micheal knew what to transfer over in K.R.2000 to his 57 chevy
Michael: We're ready - wish me luck!
KITT: If we were ready, luck wouldn't come into it.
Simplesmente maravilhoso!!!!
I can't believe I thought this was the coolest as a kid.
Got to love the classic knight rider and also if you pause at number 2:44 you can see the shadow of the camera mount
In the pilot episode, Michael admires the paint job on KITT - "Not a ripple!" - only to be told that it wasn't paint.
Man I love that music @ 0:22. Rewinded a few times, just to hear it.
It's 2021!!! My Fav..❤️❤️❤️ Thanks For Uploading...😘😘😘
KITT: Michael, at that stage of my recovery--
KITT is ofically back
"Junkyard dog" definitely top 10 best episides
fr
Anyone notice KITT's old dash at 0:21? Then his new dash is back at 1:46.
Fun fact: They put the old dash in the "Hero Car" used for stunt shots, that's why in some scenes if you look close enough, you'll see the old dash on KITT :)
Yeah, when you see KITT in Auto Cruise, if you look closely, sometimes you see the dual TV monitors with the old dash in the hero car that was used for the stunts
KITT: I do trust you, but... I'm sorry, Michael.
0:31, hey the Foundation must have stolen that device from the alien mothership before it was destroyed in "V The Final Battle"
Great. Just great I wish my friends would think the same.
2021 knight rider :-D
Nothing like passing that final test,
I really love this episode...All the actors and two actresses were superb! Is that beautiful blonde girl the same girl that played Roxanne in Automan?
This show taught me so much about life. Sounds dumb but totally true. It also taught me what decade I wanted to be stuck in for the rest of my adult life lol hahahaha.
#80'S
Someone let the Stig drive KITT in super-pursuit mode around the track!
1:21 what the hell did he just spray the body without masking anything lol! :)
2:36 they clipped the cone and spliced in another shot.... lol
My dream car knight rider kitt and michael knight the david hasselhoff
KITT's turbine roar at 2:35 :D
The sampled down Beverly Hills Cop theme. 👍👍
Which was all too clearly and directly derived from Yazoo's "Situation".
That music. 😂 Worst Axel F rip off ever
0:45 Mothership self-destroying device on V, the series!!
V: The Final Battle :)
Was expecting Foley and Taggart to kick the door in, looking for Victor Maitland.
But it was very sad when Michael couldn’t help him & yes of course K. I. T. T. was feeling hurt. It definitely was a very happy ending where the guy received pay back time.
Is it just me or Micheal blames himself same way he did not watch his old partner's back in 1982?
Justin Macri : No it isn’t just you. Michael definitely blamed himself. He felt really bad.
Sandra Dan micheal really has a problom blaming himself it's like how Roger Valisco did in Power Rangers. See Micheal needs to understand better at team work sbd partnership Micheal needs to lean saving a sbd watching a partners back is the main job at trust Micheal lost what's his name in the plot for not stopping Tayna's men firm killing him and for not saving KITT on a few things KITT tokd Micheal there battle with juggument round one he would have stopped Howard..
Justin Macri : I know right! That episode made me cry: in how they destroyed K.I. T. T. is always watching his back.
Sandra Dan allbim all I'm saying is superhero's all ways talk about teamwork and stuff KITT never once trained Micheal to be a better partner and you know
KITT: Michael! That's 14 inches of reinforced concrete!
And this was the days before drifting if they knew how to do it can you imagine the ratings would’ve skyrocketed
DR. BONNIE BARSTOW..... yum! in anything, long boots too.!
Haha that prop on 0.45 was used in V The Final Battle as the mothership's detonator console! Both WB shows.
Absolutely couldn’t stand to even look at that goof hasselhoff
Michael: And now the final touch.
Bonnie: Not in here, Michael. We gotta take him to the paint booth and tape off all the....
PSHHHHHH PSHHHH
Bonnie: There's black overspray on all my equipment now!
KITT: There's drips, runs, and orange peel all over ME now!
Electronic equipment they used here on kitt is the same as they have on the 80s series V (on visitorspaceship) :D
2:53 RICK FLAIR WOOOOO!
gotta love the 80s take on future tech hahaha
I didn't know they had USB cables back then 0:46
OMG that prop was used in V: The Final Battle! It was the control device for the doomsday weapon.
0:30 I saw that device in another show. Maybe V?
0:22 - I can't believe after all these years, I just noticed...KITT has the Season 1-2 dashboard here. He's supposed to have the upgraded Season 3 dashboard. Can't believe I mised that mistake.
I noticed that too, it was interesting.
Micheal knows Kitts capabilities and no one can tell him nothing!
