- Державний гімн України пролунав у присутності молодого президента Росії Володимира Путіна під час військового параду з нагоди 10-ї річниці Незалежності України. Разом із паном Путіним є чинний на той час президент України Леонід Кучма.
На Майдані Незалежності у Києві вперше підняли державний прапор на військовому параді до Дня Незалежності.

The national anthem of Ukraine was played in the presence of a young Russian President Vladimir Putin during a military parade in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine. Together with Mr. Putin is the then-incumbent President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
On Independence Square in Kyiv, the national flag was hoisted for the first time in an independence day military parade.

Imagine the movies that would depict the Ukraine war in the next 10 years, the beginning mosy likely will have a scene featuring this at almost like foreshadowing to what Putin will do.

A day before the invasion...
I can imagine with what disgust Putin watched the whole thing, laughing from the inside. I wonder what he could have thought to himself: There is no such thing as Ukraine, I will make them disappear in 20 years..
Just a hours ago, National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine accepted to implementation "State of Emergency" in all territories of Ukraine (except Donetsk and Luhansk Region) as the response of Russian Invasion in Eastern Ukraine since Vladimir Putin recognized L/DNR as limited-independence country.
It's up to their parliament Verkhovna Rada to accept this decision. Ukraine, from now, is an "Emergency State"..

You know this war is totally unnecessary. The Ukrainians should have peace together with the Russians. Let every buildings and homes be rebuilt and if they have endangered species of their own let them all be saved and multiply. If the Russians want to be accepted back in Olympic events and so as others sports assocoations and throughout the world, they stop this madness. Not to mention there are protesters out there. And not only Ukranians and every parts of the globe, but also in Russia. There are some people in Russia who are innocent and wants no war with Ukraine.

Ukraine have a good anthem, i prefer to Ukraine anthem thats very better than Russian anthem, this is in my opinion btw.

The Ukrainians were punished in 2004 for wanting freedom (Putin poisend Yuschenko) they were punished in 2013-2014 for Euromaidan by having Crimea taken away and the Donbass War, and again in 2022-2023 for No obvious reason. Ukraine was never going to join NATO while they had a Territorial dispute in Crimea and Donetsk and Luhansk. Ukraine will prevail! Slava Ukrainyi! Geroyam Slava 💙💛
