Chen Ke, born in an ordinary family in a small county in Sichuan, came to Beijing after graduation and became a professional artist. At the age of 20, she created an imaginary little girl to comfort herself as she just started her life in Beijing. When she turned 40, she painted the avantgarde girls who studied in Baubaus over 100 years ago to inspire females who work hard for their dreams. Her works are quite popular in the market. She ranked the 8th among all artists and the top among all female artists in terms of auction sale this spring.
陳可，出生在四川小縣城的一個普通家庭，接著“北漂”，做了一名職業藝術家。她一直在畫各種各樣的女孩：20歲，畫了想像中的小女孩，靠這個自己的分身，安撫初到北京的焦慮與夢想；30歲，她找到活得驚心動魄的藝術家弗里達，由此開始關注真實的女性處境；40歲，她把100多年前先鋒的包豪斯女孩，帶回到當下，激勵所有為夢想奮鬥的女性。她的作品也在市場上炙手可熱，今年春季藝術拍賣額位列第八，是女性藝術家中排名最靠前的。
