Very impressive how it pushes those big rounds through. With the right size round and one push you can make a cord a whole lot faster. That’s splitter is way more efficient than the county line. Great choice so far.
hi there how much time to stack . i do a 1/3 split and stacked in 20 -25 mins . now my pieces are a bit bigger for my boiler . i think of you do a little stream lining you could cut your time way down . coming along best to all john
Just recently moved into a house with an outdoor wood boiler. How do I get enough wood ready for winter with short notice and how to handle having it prepped for next year and the years coming? Trying to not have to buy any if not necessary. I’m in Kentucky so it’s not cold yet we are still having 80 degree days.
If you have not so seasoned wood I recommend splitting it smaller. In classic boilers it’s easier to burn not so seasoned wood in smaller form I.E. split down. Also look for people who process firewood and sell it. Often they have cut offs or crappy logs they often get rid of cause they can’t process them. Also check for local sawmills they have tons of cut offs that burn good in boilers as well! Hope that helps

I love it! Thing cranks. Almost got 3 cords through it now
Depending on the size of rounds, I can do a half cord in 20 to 45min by myself.
I am sure once you get used to the cycle times you can do it too.
I’m
Sure I could eventually! We’re getting the hang of it lol

Hey John! I can deff make it a little faster. I’ve figured out a few things since this video for sure
Nice Jay, you’re in another level of splitting wood now!👍
Thanks 👍
You can add a flow control valve on tht log lift Parker makes them other brands to you can slow the speed of tht log lift down with one if u want to
I just need to be gentle with it but it makes sense to put a restrictor in it if I wanted

Nice splitter 2 * 4 *16 ft 128 cubic feet of firewood just thought I'd share.
Indeed!
Awesome 👏
Thanks 🤗
Wait until you are splitting just for the boiler. That will be a real eye opener. Have a great day.
I can’t wait. We have so much boiler wood lol
looks like the log lift doesnt hold hydraulic pressure and slowly weapes
I don’t see any issues with it. I’ll check it again next time
I run it but sure seemed fine to me
@@HomesteadJaylittle better than the county line 😅
Man looks like a lot of crappy splits. Shore the wedge isn’t upside down
Nope the wedge is fine. The splits are fine too not sure what the problem is?
