Siamese cats are definitely one of the smartest cats. Notice how it climbed the towel stand 'looking' for a way in, probably thinking there was an opening at the top. It figured that out. It was frantic about trying to find a way in to either 'save' or 'join' it's human friend, haha.

This is a test of the Emergency Broadcat System. The cats of your area have developed this system to keep you informed in the event of a cat emergency. If this had been an actual cat emergency, the meow signal you just heard would have been followed by lots more just like it. This concludes this test of the Emergency Broadcat System.

The problem is that as with every cay you have to write the manual yourself, because they are unique to each cat. But Siamese do require hearing protection. :-)
silly piece of trivia but Siamese is one of the breeds that usually actually really like water. sooo, it might be less of a "we must save mummy!" and more of a "mummy is playing in water and she left us out!" and even so, i think the little one is just, "will you shuuut Up already! you do this Every time and it gets Old!! she will let us in when and if she wants to. sheesh... such a drama llama!"

I had a Siamese cat growing up. He passed away over 10 years ago but watching this was like hearing his beautiful voice all over. This video pleased me much too much. (He was a large boy, so 2 Siamese definitely was what I needed to really make that voice)
+cutepiku I found a video - it may even show up in the related videos of this one - called Conversation With My Cat by uploader Tania DeViller - The Siamese in it looks almost IDENTICAL to my Pierre that I had up til 20 years ago. Her Siamese even SOUNDS almost identical to him. It actually caused me to cry unexpectedly as soon as I watched and listened to it, it was so close.
I had a Burmese cat, and the last one I had (who passed away in 2018) was very NOISY. I would be telling him to quiet down, sometimes raising my voice to get the message to him. Then again, I believe Burmese cats are related to Siamese Cats, but I could be wrong.
yes they are, i love this clip almost as much as those buggers love their leader in the shower, i've got siamese brother n sister just under a year old and this sounds like feeding time at my place, way louder and more serious than mine but this made me laugh
Oh, my Maxa is the same! I found him on the street, when he was 6 days old, and around 2 and a 1/2 weeks old he could walk enough to discover me under the shower. And that little baby has screamed, careful, careful! I'm coming to save you! And slipped on the wet tiles and tried to run back, and again to help me, but the water has rolled him to the sinker. So I had to close the water, pick him up, dry him, comfort him and place him into the tooth glass, he was that small. Then I could finish showering with him watching me. And really, every time I showered, already at a closed door, he stood on the other side of the door and meowed every two secs to check on me, least I have escaped on the sinker. And in the next rent we had a bathtub and he sat on it's corner carefully watching me and supervising, if I've done a proper job with the towel, and afterwards he always jumps on my shoulder and sniffs and pulls at my hair to tidy it up. My jetblack Maxa, was 14 last week.
I come back to this video every so often and I swear I never gets old. I laugh something fierce every time I watch it and my cats go nuts when they hear it
I'm pretty sure they can. My family has a cat we think is part Siamese, and a few times, he sounded like he had lost his voice after some long meowing episodes.
"She's DYING IN THERE, we KNOW it! She's MELTING! From the acid pouring from the sky! We just KNOW it!" We just got a Siamese kitten. This will be our lives too. :3
Siamese cats are actually much more talkative then the any other cat species. Mine follows me around the house and "comments" on literally everything i do, and he starts to scream whenever i open the sink. It used to drive me crazy but now im used to it and would never trade him for any other cat.
i love siamese cats and have had the honor of their company since the seventies...they are by far the most intelligent cat out there... mine are more dog like in their mannerisms than any other breed... they become very attached to their humans... these fellas are upset because mom is out of reach and the siamese wants you where it can get at you at any time... none of this separation by a shower door let alone water...my siamese come to their name and a whistle..they also retrieve anything i throw , balls , sticks anything...they are very protective and love to talk to me and i of course talk back to them..i love this video and any one who has ever been fortunate to live with a siamese will understand that they love you as much as you love them :-).
rose9635 You have the best and most righteous and sensible comments so far amongst most of the many nonsense and hateful ones that preceded yours. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I believe those negative comments come from people who are not TRUE animal lovers. The very unique relationship that develops between an animal and its owner can only be understood if one ever owned or owns an animal him/herself and treats it like a family member, not just give it a job such as being 'guards,' etc. Subject-related comments actually started from @Jerald Brewer & downwards. My comment to the lady who posted the video is I feel very sorry for her cats for being so obviously upset while she's in the shower. Those meowings certainly prove that. Perhaps closing the bathroom door would help some. At least, even if those precious Siamese cats have the anxiety separation from her being gone momentarily, they would not be in such close proximity to her, panicking frantically all those minutes she's in the shower. All that stress may eventually cause these poor babies serious health problems ~ such as heart disease, etc. Sorry I may have gotten carried away but poor babies. They should not have to suffer like that. Did not appreciate how the video was captioned either on FB --- says, "funny" video. I did not find it funny. My heart goes out to the Siamese cats.
+rose9635 I've had all different breeds of cats growing up. I have two Oriental Short haired cats. One chocolate brown & one black & grey stripped tabby. Have you ever just let them into the shower? I had a cat that showered with me every morning - he would have raised holy hell if I'd shut him out, too....
I may be a masochist, but I watch this video at least a couple of times a year. I think it's hilarious, and your cats are absolutely GORGEOUS. I think this can only be truly appreciated by Siamese owners (or enthusiasts), or should I say, people owned by Siamese!
Why would that make you a masochist? You're not the only one who has come back here again and again to hear their meows, to see the face of that one, or whatever. I think the fact that you have to say that means there are too many people who wanna make stupid comments, esp. on cat videos! This type of thing is cute to some of us, although I'm sure it can get kind of annoying after a while, lol

Your cats are stunningly gorgeous; may I add your house is beautiful! Those two love you SO MUCH! They are so worried about their mommy...being attacked by the evil water!
This reminds me of a standup routine Paula Poundstone did in the late 80s about her cats and water. She was like, "every time I take a shower I can see them lined up outside just staring at me. When I get out, they're like 'that was amazing! Man, it was all over you! And there was nothing we could do about it. That glass door thing was there, we couldn't get in.'"

Yeah I think the younger one was just copying and didn't know what the deal was
Cats don't have alfas. Younger cats imitate olders ones.
Luna Orchid ikr! He keeps nipping and patting him.
I too scream loudly and frantically when my mom is in the shower.
My brother used to scream till he was hoarse when my mom was in the bath...

Patty and Selma! Yes!

The same sisters that booed their own nephew at a baseball game and threw beer bottles at him

Beautiful bathroom!
So S P A C I O U S !!! I love it!! I have the basic sink-toilet-tub/shower, so I'm a teeny bit envious!
Gemma Arévalo I agree, it's so luxurious.
Love the bath mat.
OMG! Momma is trying to drown herself (again)! We must save her!
"Get out of the shower! Get out of the shower! Water is bad for you! You're going to drown! Get out of the shower, human!"
LOLZ!!!!
Guess that's what they wanna say. :D
There was at last one time one cat was saying to the other "Man, Mom must have been *really* bad this time!"
OR, the cats pay the Water Bill
canadiancatgreen Phoenix was being tongue-in-cheek, and posting what the cats are likely saying. She was making a joke.
I've heard this opinion - "When your pet is a Siamese cat, you have a cat, a dog and a monkey!"
I hate it when dog people say cats aren't loving. That is straight BS
Thank you!
Karatto Your welcome
I know you posted this two years, however, as a dog person I feel the need to apologise for our foolishness towards your beautiful furry companions. I now also have a cat and thus, I now understand your people.
they're just hungry.
My cat goes crazy when he's hungry he meows beautifully, let's me stroke him. I feed him after.
one of the cats is more interested in the other cat's attention lol
Alex Doge I think he's trying to calm the other one down, LOL!
Alex Doge its looking up to the other its the younger one
+Alex Doge Are they lesbians?
+Kinopanorama Widescreen Preservation Association Incorporated no

they're screaming "OH NO SHE'S TRAPPED!!!!!!!!!!"
That's what I was thinking lol
Luke Skywalker a cat that cares? No such thing
cats really like their owners
drummer703 That's your opinion. However, I did have a cat that saved my son's life. Cats DO care. Just like any other animal, if you raise it right it will care and love you back.
Angela H. I'm a cat owner, but I also own a dog. Guess which one chooses interact to interact with the family the most. Guess which one response when I call his name. Guess which one can tell when I'm upset and decides to comfort me. The dog is the right answer to all of them. My cat doesn't give a damn
I'm hugging my elderly Siamese cat, I love her so much. She used to be like that.
The little one is just following the bigger one around and trying to yell at him.
Poor Sharron.
I've had Siamese in my life since I was 2 years old. No regrets. Best pets ever, and that's including a lot of dogs.
sounds like Formula 1 last lap :))))))))))
Hahaha good call!
Siamese - The only cat that requires a manual.
The problem is that as with every cay you have to write the manual yourself, because they are unique to each cat. But Siamese do require hearing protection. :-)
Siamese Cats are easily the loudest house pets you can own

Aww it’s adorable to see them trying to find ways inside the shower as if desperately trying to help their mommy. Adorable
"Mom! Mom! Mom! Mom! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mama! Mama! Mama! Mama!"
I love those cats they can meow as long as they want

WHAAAT???!!! .......................................................hi.
Most definitely what I heard/translated lol 😹
"water???!! why would you do that to yourslef!"
Everybody: what beautiful kitties.
Me: what a lovely bathroom.
Why would Siamese Cats give out to their owners while they have a shower?
Exactly
I've never seen a toilet without a tank before 😮
@@Diamondelle84 it's a bidet.
Seems like the one is upset, and the other is trying to comfort the upset one. That's so cute they are worried about mom.
The littler kitty is taking its cue from the bigger kitty.
It's a copy cat...
silly piece of trivia but Siamese is one of the breeds that usually actually really like water.
sooo, it might be less of a "we must save mummy!" and more of a "mummy is playing in water and she left us out!"
and even so, i think the little one is just, "will you shuuut Up already! you do this Every time and it gets Old!! she will let us in when and if she wants to. sheesh... such a drama llama!"
My Siamese cat hates water 🤦🏻♀️
@@rayecatherine1153 i think it depends on whether it's the oriental 'modern' siamese or not. also not all cats are carbon copies of each other and have individual traits
My flame point mutt tolerates water and I take him in the shower sometimes.
Thats what I hear too!!! Hillarious!!!
My uncle's flamepoint Siamese enjoyed drinking water from the faucet.
I had a Blue Point that was just like this !!! I never knew that a Cat could love me as much as she loved me. I lost her the last week of November of 1979 , and I still miss her every single day ! I wish humans were anything like Cats-honest ,happy, in good moods !
Bless our FurBabies !
I lost it when it climbed the shelf, thinking it might jump into the shower from the top lmaoo omg that was funny 😂😂
I was wondering if maybe he was going to try and get into the shower from the back!
They are also very limber, great jumpers, and pretty darn smart.
@@lynncrosby9175 I had a wonderful Siamese kitty who lived to be 26 years old. My mom used to say that she could jump over the (two-story) house!

I had a Burmese cat, and the last one I had (who passed away in 2018) was very NOISY. I would be telling him to quiet down, sometimes raising my voice to get the message to him. Then again, I believe Burmese cats are related to Siamese Cats, but I could be wrong.
I remember that song from my childhood
Awwww Trying to protect you from the dangers of water. Such cute!
The first cat says "Meowrrr", but the other says "Wwroow"
Poor things

What do you mean by first cat and second cat?
There are two cats. One is the 1st and the other one is the 2nd.
...
How do you not understand that.
Maxrocks94 W such a distinction 😂
haha so much for a nice quiet relaxing shower lol
it's so sweet, at 0:31 the smaller one is literally trying to get his attention to say like "hey i'm here it's ok try to calm down a little"
Sometimes I watch this video because they sound like my Siamese that passed a couple years back. I actually miss this hahah
I just shared about the same thing, mine passed after 15 years, this reminds me of him. Baxter was his name. I miss him.
Me too
😥😢
You really are a masochist lol
Noisy little buggers aren't they? I've had Siamese cats before and oh how they can raise a fuss!
Cheryl Keil still planning to get a pair
Cheryl Keil But its hard not to love the little angels.
yes they are, i love this clip almost as much as those buggers love their leader in the shower, i've got siamese brother n sister just under a year old and this sounds like feeding time at my place, way louder and more serious than mine but this made me laugh
Definitely part of their appeal.
I got my Blue Point boy to meow on tape at times
What a sweet, sweet story... we really don't deserve our fur babies ❤
I come back to this video every so often and I swear I never gets old. I laugh something fierce every time I watch it and my cats go nuts when they hear it
WAAH MROW WAAH MROW WAAH MROW WAAH MROW WAAAHHH MROOOOW!!!!
I love when its voice cracks at 1:55
LOL, I wonder if they go hoarse eventually from all the shouting.
LOL
Cats actually have voice cracks? LOL
I'm pretty sure they can. My family has a cat we think is part Siamese, and a few times, he sounded like he had lost his voice after some long meowing episodes.
omg
"She's DYING IN THERE, we KNOW it! She's MELTING! From the acid pouring from the sky! We just KNOW it!"
We just got a Siamese kitten. This will be our lives too. :3
Their meows sound exactly how the Thai word for "cat" is pronounced (แมว). No coincidence.
Siamese cats: Oh hello human, are you taking a nice relaxing shower? Let us sing you the song of our people!😸😼
Good one 😸
Siamese cats are actually much more talkative then the any other cat species. Mine follows me around the house and "comments" on literally everything i do, and he starts to scream whenever i open the sink. It used to drive me crazy but now im used to it and would never trade him for any other cat.
Skwisgaar Skwigelf breeds not species

The bigger cat sounds like it's smoked all it's life... Poor thing. xD
Its like hes freaking out and shes comforting him at every meow
i love siamese cats and have had the honor of their company since the seventies...they are by far the most intelligent cat out there... mine are more dog like in their mannerisms than any other breed... they become very attached to their humans... these fellas are upset because mom is out of reach and the siamese wants you where it can get at you at any time... none of this separation by a shower door let alone water...my siamese come to their name and a whistle..they also retrieve anything i throw , balls , sticks anything...they are very protective and love to talk to me and i of course talk back to them..i love this video and any one who has ever been fortunate to live with a siamese will understand that they love you as much as you love them :-).
rose9635 You have the best and most righteous and sensible comments so far amongst most of the many nonsense and hateful ones that preceded yours. My heart goes out to the Siamese cats.
rose9635 mine was only half Siamese so she didn't talk as much but she was very affectionate and intelligent.
+Lisa Marie my cat is Siamese and she only likes one person in the and that's me she is a fraidy cat
+rose9635 I've had all different breeds of cats growing up. I have two Oriental Short haired cats. One chocolate brown & one black & grey stripped tabby. Every single comment you listed in your post about the Oriental Short hair cat & the human bond formed in the relationship was completely & totally on point. The breed is worth every bloody cent paid. I will NEVER own any other breed of feline. I
So true, incredible, beautiful and ultimately intelligent.

@Beer Me LOL!! Love your comment - it so fits the video right then
I'm laughing hard because being English, its such a classic American statement and i could hear the cat saying it a New York accent lol,
Have you ever just let them into the shower? I had a cat that showered with me every morning - he would have raised holy hell if I'd shut him out, too....
AWWW the little one is meowing in concern of the big one meowing
theyre probably trying to "SAVE" their owner from water x
"what is she doing in there?!"
-"She's ok man."
"No she's not!"
-"No, she is!"
"We have to get her out!"
-"Calm down!"
So cute
JayNohh That is right ! bradymom10 ! Only Siamese cat s owners like us can understand that they are beautiful have smart and talkative . They are not like regular cats . They are precious , unique royalty and I love my true show cat siamese . He is only 5 year old. He still miaus the way he is suppose to like the ones in the video but not that much as he is the only one and kitty plus I train him to be sweet and please him . I love my cat ! This video is just to show people the way they are . Nothing wrong with the video . Its sweet and funny ! :) Blessings
I watch it too, LOLLL I love it! And I love Siamese cats, but esp this type. Now I know I'm not alone : ) Honesty opens the door to other people being honest! Maybe I listen to it again later ; )
OMG I watch this video repeatedly too! LOL
You mean a satist?
Siamese cats talk so much you end up meowing back at them and it turns into a warzone of meowing and arguing. I love them 💖 I love my talkative cat
Your cats are stunningly gorgeous; may I add your house is beautiful! Those two love you SO MUCH! They are so worried about their mommy...being attacked by the evil water!
The Human is getting wet! Save her!
Ronda Edmonson yes!! Sooo funny! "...it was all over you! You must have really screwed up!"

I love how beautiful and healthy your siamese are, they're trim, fit, and light on their feet. Love to see it!
My cat was seriously running through the house trying to find these two! Every time I play this, he is in search mode.
Same here. My poor cat was having a heart attack.
Totally off topic, but you have a nice bathroom. Lol

Siamese cars are great family pets, but if you prefer a quiet house, these felines are not for you
Siamese are the most vocal cats. So beautiful. They worried about her being in water.they sense danger and don't like it.that's their way of warning her.
