I always preferred tabbys, until a little Siamese came into my life and insisted on being my cat. Now, I love them. The eyes are amazing! I also thought they were the most beautiful shade of blue. Is that true with any blue eyed cat, or just the Siamese?
The talking! This makes Siamese incredibly engaging. I lost my talkative boy in May this year and it was a pleasure communicating with him. I miss our conversations terribly. Terribly.
I had a chocolate point Siamese named Spooky. She lived 21 years. I raised her from a kitten. I loved that cat. Everybody would always say what a pretty cat she was. She made me feel richer when I owned her.
@@berlingolingoful Just keep an eye on your cat when their outside. Put them indoors when you're at work or leave the house. Feed them well, Spooky used to love eating chicken. Take good care of your 🐈 and treat them like a King or a Queen and they should live a long time 🙂
We have 3 Siamese and love all 3. Their constant talking makes them our favorites as they tell it like it is - like we are hungry or need to be on your lap.
I love the Siamese breed. Here are a couple more facts: They form a strong bond with one person. They are affectionate around others, but will usually follow their person around, stick close to them...etc. I am Sienna's person. It has been this way from the day we met at the shelter. She waits for me to come home from work. The other fact that I have noticed is that they darken as they age, instead of turning grey.
I had my Siamese for 21 years as well… He was my whole life… I didn’t get another again, that was 18 years ago… now I am going to get a new one.. a girl. I can’t wait
I always thought Siamese cats were aloof until I have been fortunate enough to foster some. I love the breed. They are very smart, affectionate, and great communicators.
I once took care of a siamese cat. It was stray that came to my house. I didn't know it was a siamese cat thought, it looked like what they described in the video as the old siamese, it even had crossed eyes.
Their personalities definitely flourish when they are comfortable! My parents have one and he is skiddish around strangers. But once he is familiar with you, he is super affectionate and talkative. 😺
My mom always had a Siamese cat. Gets were friendly, but they had a subtle person preference. They loved my mom. I'm not sure if it was because I was a child and annoying, or they truly just had a single preference. I know my mind lay one would stick with me when she was in the hospital, but I've she was gone, I didn't exist.
My girl definitely loves me the most but she has warmed up to everyone in my house and wants kisses from everyone haha I always thought Siamese were stand of fish but they aren’t at all
I was owned by two meezers! They were pawsome boys and extremely intelligent; talkative and gave me back rubs, no prodding from me, they saw how much I was suffering from the car crash and would stay on my back for hours, and we’d all go to sleep with them purring
I was deathly allergic to cats as a kid, but Siamese was the one breed I could have. My first lived 18 years and was my partner in crime. I miss my lil meezer so much. Thankfully, my allergies are better and I've been able to adopt rescue cats off the street, including a sleek black cat, a grumpy ol' grey cat, and a lovely tabby boy.
I have a seal point Siamese lady. She is such an affectionate girl. Chats to me all the time and follows me everywhere I go. Is by my side all the time. They are an amazing breed and so beautiful.
One of my daughter's favorite shows on PBS was Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat. Sagwa was a Siamese kitten who lived in an emperor's royal palace. Her antagonists were the emperor's two Pugs who thought cats had no place in the palace. Luckily for Sagwa, she was the favorite palace pet.
My Siamese was found as a kitten in a mixed feral group in the Miami area (he was the only Siamese). He's so beautiful- he's not slender at all, but the other type, solid and with a broad, round head. Sometimes I can't even believe how beautiful he is. And, like this says... so, so affectionate. 😻
I think just how strong the gene is for siamese is worth mentioning. One that I saw wandering around a few times knocked up a tabby n she popped out a siamese. So now I have a siamese in my group of 12 outside cats that I feed. He's even cross-eyed
Cross-breeding Siamese and Tabby cats results in Lynx-point Siamese, which are known for being much quieter than other variations of the breed. So if you're annoyed by Siamese meowing, Lynx-point is your best choice.
My siamese that I adopted pregnant had 3 all black and one tortie . Unfortunately before I could get her fixed she escaped and came back very smug with herself. She had 2 all black 1 black and white and a white one with black spots looks like a cow lol. So as soon as the babies are weened off to the vet she goes! They all have her head and body shape just furrier.
Mine (Pops) was abandoned by his mama outside my house. We left him in a box for over a day and he never came back. He's got a little tabby in him you can see. He's a cross eyed kitty 🤣 I always thought it was just because he might have been inbred but when I took him to the vet the other day she was like oooooo he has the cross eyes! Lol
I think Siamese cats are awesome. I had a friend back when I was like 10 to 13 and she had two that were siblings. At times they were nuts but so much fun. At other times, you knew that they just wanted to be left alone, and you'd respect that or else, lol! I think the original type is the best type of any bred, including Siamese. I don't like the way breeders have tried to make over any pet breed. Most times they make health problems. Love your channel and your videos and look forward to when they come up. Thank you and stay well!
Hi guys very true my jacob was pure white when he came home to me ,his eyes were as deep blue as mine gorgeous! just stunning , my other siamese was called a apple head his shape was just like a normal cat , yes they talk non stop , and i mean non stop ! and if you dont take notice they get even louder ! well of course they are royality , we are their servants ,!
When I was a kid I was afraid of Siamese cats because someone told me that they were mean. Luckily, I had a friend who owned a Siamese, which was a very sweet cat. I think the original Lady And The Tramp gave this breed a bad rap.
Pamela as a child I too was afraid of siamese cats! Cuz my neighbors had a crazy mean one who'd attack for no reason! My boy is half siamese not mean at all!
@@oldfogey4679 They can become mean if neglected and don't receive any love. Or if they are forced to be alone while the owner goes out to work or socialise all day. People like that are very irresponsible.
My favorite is that they seem to have not forgotten the being treated like royalty part and they still expect it. So very true! Our rule the house and their human servants love it! 😻
One of this cats lived in my relatives apartment in Kyiv Ukraine, and she used human toilet and flushed too :))). It is true, I was there one time when all the people were sitting and talking and suddenly I heard the flushing sound from the bathroom, I looked surprised and one of the family said to me " oh this was our cat using the bathroom".
I always wanted to train my cat to do that when I was young. Our cat knocked his litter box off the tip of the toilet a few times before my mom made me give up because it was messy
There is no better cat than a Siamese! They are very affectionate & personable animals and will provide you with endless entertainment. They are perpetually kittens, always playful & curious! Even if you have owned a cat before you’ll be amazed at their individuality. Lastly, they are very loving towards their humans. I intend to never be w it out one!
I had a gorgeous blue point for 17 years she was gorgeous I broke my heart when she died in her sleep I was heavily pregnant and I could not stop sobbing x
I have a cat that is part Siamese. She's beautiful! I took her in from the street since she absolutely insisted on living with us. I also adopt her four babies when she got pregnant before we could spay her. Only one looks like her and could be mistaken for an actual Siamese! The mother has the crossed eyes, but her baby doesn't. Both have the blue eyes and fur patterns that started as white. The mother has a long, slim body and a crooked tail. The baby has a stockier body more like the older breed. The others are as different as they come -- a black and grey tabby with a Siamese slim built, a white cat with a few small black spots, and a black and white tuxedo. All are beautiful in different ways, as cats are the most lovely of all creatures. And I'm including all cat species, from tigers to little sand cats and everything in between! Thank you! 🙏😺💖💖💖
@ 4:09 you mentioned that these cats are vocal to the point of being dems ding.😆 Just wait until Breeding Season starts. Mine got on my last nerve every night at 3:00 a.m. until I let her outside. She came back 3 days later and quieter👍🏿
Oh my goodness! What a cute video!! I wish I could post how my Chloe meows!!! It’s consistent long “meoooooow” and depending on how excited she is the “meow” gets various speeds and looooong dragged out ones! She’ll come to you when you call her name outside sometimes (unless she’s busy) 😂
our siamese isnt very chatty… well not yet. but the rest of the clan has rag doll and maine coon so….maybe comparatively quiet? The flame pointed siamese we took in from a friend who found him feral took to the kitten clan right away. He’s about 1 month older than everyone else. He even hung out and cuddled while they fed…mom wouldn’t let him feed tho. I have the most adorable “just wanna be a part of the family” photo. lol white cross eyed guy in a pile of torby, orange and tux, hehe
I've has rescue cats all my life, mostly moggies (except for Sphinxy who was a Norwegian Forest cat), but recently I rescued a Mum who had just given birth. IThe shelter called me and asked if I'd take Mum and her baby as two of mine had fairly recently passed from old age. I couldn't believe it when I went to collect them - they are Siamese! Mum only gave birth to one kitten, who is now called Larwood. Mum is called Nell. I have to say, after getting to know them, they are amazing! Sooooo intelligent, they do indeed follow me everywhere and talk a lot. Larwood even talks to himself! I don't feel that Siamese would be good cats for people that haven't lived with cats before, but for 'cat people'...go for it...they are wonderful!
My grandmother had a flame-point Siamese with slightly crossed eyes, he was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. His name was Norten (I think, I only knew him was I was a kid)
Maybe I will be pet parent to a Siamese cat. We cat sat for my uncle's cat many years ago. He wanted us to keep him, but we were not as cat educated as we are now so we didn't appreciate Alex and his qualities. He didn't need the stress of having to be re-homed again either.
Siamese is my favorite breed! I have two half Siamese half tuxedo cats. My male is 100% Siamese body type and behaviors- just tuxedo colored. He is constantly chatting with me ❤️ loved this video
Heather my late purebred tux was highly trained to take care of disabled people! Keep in mind tux cats are prone to getting diabetis! So don't fees them people food! And there's a group in San Diego where u can get free diabetis supplies of medications! Go online and look for the groups name!
This was so interesting!!! I used to have Siamese years ago!! I love the way they "talk" to you. One of them had really extra pale blue eyes, just beautiful!!! The most fascinating fact I heard here was that the first Siamese to come here was also the First Cat!!!! I've never heard that before!!!🐾🐾😺
I loved your video, thank you. We have two Meezers, siblings Felix and Pixie. They are now two years old. The male DEMANDS what he wants, whether it be brushing his back fur, to wanting me to hold him when I take the dogs outside to "do their business", when he is hungry, when he wants a treat, when Dad comes home from work, before he does anything else, he must pick Felix up and stretch him out over his head, and then flip him over and tickle his stomach, and on and on. He understands perhaps 20-25 words from me. The female is a sweetheart. Every night she jumps on me and I have spoiled her by singing a made-up lullaby with her name in it. Now I am her slave!! But, at least, she only needs one thing! After all our rituals, I say, "Pixie and Felix, it is bedtime." and they trot off together to their bed which is in our Master bedroom closet (which we leave open). In the morning they walk all over us and Felix must lick our eyebrows before he wants us to get up!!! We adore them for sure! Crazy, smart, and beautiful cats...our first Siamese after many "alley" cats.
Disney has made some great cat movies but my favorite is "That Darn Cat". Syn, who played DC got his start in "The Incredible Journey". What a cat. I wish somebody would bring "The Cat Who..." book series to television. Casting Yum Yum and Koko would be a fun challenge but they would surely steal the show.
I have not had a cat since I was a teenager and now I’m 31 and have been raising a Siamese baby man cat named Sisyphus. Let me tell you, it has been the single greatest joy of my entire life. We are attached at the hip. This is my familiar, my son, my confidant. We go for walks, he knows how to shake hands and give high fives and he even sits on command. If you are willing to be patient you will get far more than what you put into one of these little babies. They really do attach themselves to one person and that’s it. He definitely thinks he’s a king 😅but he’s also very well behaved. A bit mischievous but that’s because he’s so curious and can’t help but play with the garbage disposal lol We are the same entity, I struggle with staying mentally stimulated so I have created different techniques to keep my mind busy and I basically passed along what I’ve learned to him.
It's true that Siamese are very loyal. My seal point would follow me around like a dog. He always wanted to be a part of whatever I was doing. I'd let him run around in the yard and woods during the day time, and when I called and whistled for him in the evening, he ALWAYS came running. Sometimes he sounded like a bear, crashing through the bushes. 😂 I never found a single flea or tick on him. He was my friend. Best cat ever.
I had a cat who's daddy was a pure bred. Jojo was my baby. She would climb to put her arms around my neck and rub her face againt my chin whiskers. I have never had a cat that did that, I had 15 cats at time. Sam, her daddy, and Tilly, her mother, were total opposites.
Love ❤️ your channel! I just discovered it. 😊 I am an adamant lover of Siamese cats! I think all the facts are actually very fascinating, but maybe the temperature difference affecting their coloring was the most unique fact I have ever heard of this breed. Good to know for my next Siamese ❤
I was surprised by the fact their eyes don't have true color! It would be interesting to see what they looked like if we could see the UV spectrum! My Siamese has the top kinked tail and crossed eyes, he's a street rescue. I found him next to the railroad tracks, already fixed and front declawed. I asked him if he wanted a home; he said "Mow-mow!" and he's been with me ever since! He's estimated by my vet to be around 17 years old now, and still loves me and loves to talk about his day as well! =^..^= Thank you for the information! I can't wait for your next topic, I love your channel 🐾🐾😸
In theory, their eyes should look violet to animals that can see that color better than humans. I'm kind of jealous! 😹 Btw, thanks for your PAWsome support. 🐾
I always loved Doreen Tovey's stories about her Siamese, so I got Rudi, a half Siamese. Black coat, but Siamese voice & character. A real kindred spirit 💕💖
We have the seal point Siamese, crossed eyed and a Beautiful Boy.He is Royalty in our house,So Loved and So Loving!! He developed IBS poor guy,but now 13 ,My Favorite pet ever!! And so Smart, talkative. Ollie, messer and many other beloved names.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Got a Siamese a year ago, his name is Chewie and he's 4 years old. Very affectionate (loves to cuddle, be in laps, lick faces but he tugs on beards after lol), socialable and loves new people, hes also extremely intelligent and knows how to sit and give a paw, gonna work on spin next. I do find it hard to find toys he likes as he doesnt like lasers but only likes interactive toys
I learned a lot of cool and interesting things about Siamese cats in this video so I just wanted to share my Siamese 🐈🐈. I had a Siamese cat that was almost fully white with some brown patterns on the legs, face and body he also had blue eyes and he was cross-eyed and chunky. He was a sweetheart and would never hurt a soul at least not intentionally🐈🐾🐈 His name was Toasty by the way cuz he look like a toasty marshmallow. Sadly he's gone but I eventually got over it.🐈🐾🐈
I have a seal point siamese and a flame point siamese. Jasmine and Angel are as sweet as they can be. She definitely acts like she is a princess and gets treated like that too. Angel acts like he's the boss at times, but is very easy going.
My fiancé has a siamese that likes to watch TV with me. His favorite is cheesy horror movies. He's glued to the TV if I have a resident evil movie on. He's a lovable talkative goober.
I have 4 lynx point siames and 3 other siamese mixes. They're wonderful cats. I call their fur mood ring fur. It's incredible they start out as a blank slate then before you know it all this stripes and markings appear. Truly beautiful animals
My cat is a scottish fold blue point with original siamese traits. His mom is a full siamese and dad is half scottish fold half siamese. He has a crooked tail, super talkative and I am pretty sure he thinks he is the king of our house. He has a different relationship with every member of the family but I think he is more close to me. He is a real sociopath around other cats, I feel like he was a man that hated cats in his early life, and he still thinks he is a human. We have another cat from the same breed ( but she is a totally black scottish straight for some reason ), and my siamese cat doesn’t like her at all either. Last year a male stray cat came to our door and wanted to stay, so we took him in as it was winter and he seemed a bit sick. We took care of all his medical care and he stayed with us for around 6 months , then he went out and never came back, still miss him so bad …but during his stay my siamese cat’s personnality changed negatively and I could tell that he was depressed. They were fighting all the time and he didn’t let the new cat use his toilet, that’s why the stray cat needed to go out all the time. He is 6 years old and during those 6 years he never got sick except during that 6 month time period when he has fallen ill 2 times out of no where. After my other cat got lost, he went back to normal and he seemed even more in peace and happier then he was before the stray cat came.
I didn’t know anything about Siamese. I just this month adopted a 5-month old from the shelter so that my tabby can have a little brother. No wonder he kept licking and grooming me from the very start! He loves to wrestle and taunt his big brother!😄
So fascinating! I really only thought I would learn a few new facts…so far 0-9😻😹😻. Love all the lovely Siamese cat footage too! Adorable and educational
My boy is half siamese on his father's side! It's the father who influences temperament so he's a siamee temperamentally !! He was taken from a physically abusive human at 6weeks so for quite a few years he wasn't very vocal! He's only very vocal among his few favorite friends! His best friend is my late neighbors dachshund who he talks an earful to!and he regularly plays with his dog breath pal! Siamese are extremely smart and hands on they literally like to help cook! My boys coloring is mainly Russian blue! He looks like he's been manicured with siamese white, big green eyes and the facial features of a siamese!I was always frightened of siamese due to growing up around a crazy mean one! Since all of my cats came to me unexpectedly I don't know ifill ever end up with one?
I have a chocolate point Siamese and he sounds like a human baby when he meows or cries load and very demanding.Rain shine or snow he wants to be outside. He growls like a dog when he hears a knock on the door lol.And yes he is the king of the house.Too much hugs n kisses, massages.I even put pure virgin coconut oil on his paws n fur so it’s shiny.I only wished he liked baths but he hates water so I wipe him down with soaked towel to keep him clean.Luna was a gift.I wasn’t expecting such a high maintenance cat 😂 so I’m learning mostly from you tube videos and google about this breed.Thank you for the video 🙏😊
My tuxedo girl had an albino cat who had a super cute Siamese cat with tuxedo cat markings. White paws. White chest. White chin. And white boots on his back paws. And you can see the difference between the Siamese brownish white compared to the tux cat white. It’s so adorable ❤
Siamese are my favorite. I prefer the traditional Seal Point, but I'll just love the breed, the personality and temperament. I've had Lynx Point, Seal Point, Lilac Point and a Tabby mix. They have so much personality. I've heard then referred to as "monkey cats". My 2 year old Seal Point Milo fits the bill. He's my BFF. He's a total mama's boy, he's a bully, he's sweet, but very moody. He knows he's snagging. He's psychotic furry ninja. My 3 Lilac Point Lulu is very petite, shh like overweight, she's round, but it's because she's just so tiny, she weighs writing her approved range. She's a talker, she didn't meet a stranger and she's always doing her own thing.
I really love siamese cats and i'm looking to get a couple kittens but i'm worried about them being too loud! . I notice you have own different breeds. Do you recommend one that is not so vocal than others? Please respond soon if you get this message cause. I'm really thinking about getting one but it's kind of scaring me about being so loud.
The coat thing is interesting. I have a male Siamese named Bowie. His fur is a bit darker then other Siamese that I've seen. He also has that paw thing, which I think is called Snow Shoes/Socks? But basically the tips of his paws are white. His fur is a little thicker kind of. But his colors and gorgeous. And the fact about them wanting more attention is for sure! My cat is always trying to get my attention. He even sleeps in my bed! But for some reason, he mainly only wants my attention? He follows me around the house. He even only wants me to be the one to hold him. For some reason he always seems to only want my attention
We had many Siamese cats over the years, is my favourite breed, cause are more sociable then others. To me, I cant handle a dog barking, agitates me, yet our Seal Point Siamese, would bellow, and it as like an echo, and bellow for hours, and I would never be agitated, if anything just mouth back, like saying her name. I found the Seal points the most vocal, and we had 2 blue points, both were way quieter and more passive. One was a female, other a male. I also found that, in out family of 6, the Siamese cat seems to pick one person in the household as theirs, and usually hang out or sleep with that person more often then anyone else...other breeds of cats we had never did that, just were the usually come to anyone if they want attention but didnt favour one person over another, My mom called the round head Siamese, which was her fave variation, Apple-head Siamese. That first face was one I never knew, that and fact 2.
Back in 2016, right after Thanksgiving, my neighbor had a 3 month old siamese kitten. Kitten looks sick, so I took kitten home. Kitten's been with me since...his name is Fallon, 6 years now. He doesn't talk too much. Not very social...other Cats stay away from him. He loves to have his head rub. I love Fallon very much. He's my Big Boy!
It’s crazy cause we had no siamese cats and yet one was still born and I didn’t even know that he was a siamese cat until recently and he’s a really great friend he always hangs out with me and when i talk to him he always responds well
Siamese cats are SOOOO cute. My mother had a Siamese cat when she was a teenager that was named Tiny. He was still around even when I was born, and he managed to live to be 18. My mom was also a huge fan of the original That Darn Cat! film with Hayley Mills. We have had three Burmese cats throughout my life (as they are believed to be related to the Siamese cat, but I could be wrong). They were Katie, Donner, and Linkin.
I had a siamese cat when I was 10 years old..I named him Simon. As a kitten his eyes were cross eyed but they straightened out when he got older. Sometimes he would give off a loud low pitched meow non stop that drove my mom crazy..she would say: "would you take care of your cat". All I had to do was pick him up..then he was fine..he'd stop meowing. Simon liked lots of attention which is one of the things I loved about him. When I'd get off the school bus after school I would hear a meow and see simon walking towards me. I would pick him up and carry him home. It was always a mystery to me how Simon knew where the bus stop was and what time the bus arrived.
I have 2 beautiful female Siamese cats, my oldest one (6 years) was found in a shelter at 8 months and was not treated well so I brought her home a baby Siamese and that brought her out of her shell, the two have a strong bond with each other as well as with me, And yes the one is Very Vocal (the baby is now 5 years) After having my 2 Siamese "girls" I wouldn't want any other breed, they have a very large vocabulary and understand everything I say, and follow me everywhere and ask for they're petting times, well basically ask for anything, they are for me the Best cat breed.
I have had Siam's for over 50 years! One lived until 22years...Is there really any other cat BUT Siamese.???? We are Siamese if you please, we are Siamese if you don't please❤.. Song from Disney 's Lady and the Tramp Movie 🎉
I had a Siamese cat years ago and she was one of the meanest cats I've ever been around. It would hide out under the bed all day and only come out long enough to eat.
I took in a stray long hair Burmese cat. He has all the markings of a Siamese and. Has blue eyes. I haven't seen much info about the breed. Could you help me know more about him?
I have a traditional, cross eyed, crooked tail (actually it looks like an L), and I thought he was a little over weight chubster until I watched your video. Very koo cause I learned something about my traditional boy I didn't know. Now I kno how to respond when someone says he's looking kinda large for a Siamese. He's perfect!
Which of these facts about Siamese cats did you find the most fascinating? 😺🐾
The fact about the eyes being technically colorless, though they look blue.
Didn't know their eyes are technically colourless, but look blue to us.
The cat catching spies was pretty cool
21 years? I should be so lucky with mine 🤞🙏🤞🙏
@@berlingolingoful Just keep an eye on your cat when their outside. Put them indoors when you're at work or leave the house. Feed them well, Spooky used to love eating chicken. Take good care of your 🐈 and treat them like a King or a Queen and they should live a long time 🙂
Ppl tend steal siamese cat mine was stolen long ago🐈
@@vanitamvelayudhan5638 They might have trapped your cat, most cats won't let strangers pick them up.
I had a blue point siamese and she lived for 21 years. Her name was Lily.
I can confirm! My parents have a Siamese and that is definitely how he is. ❤️
Tammy my boys Russian bluecoloring is lightening with age and more of the siamese white is coming out!
@@oldfogey4679 That's pretty cool! The Siamese is a breed unto itself.😄
They do get gray. My old cat had gray hair on her face and ears. She would get very upset if we pointed it out.
I'm. Wondering if the non-greying issue is because they are the newer breed of siamese cat not the original breed?
My girl definitely loves me the most but she has warmed up to everyone in my house and wants kisses from everyone haha I always thought Siamese were stand of fish but they aren’t at all
So true!!! Mine is the most affectionate. On my lap all the time, stares up at me purring...
We've had the pleasure of having Siamese cats for over forty years. They're awesome
Siamese are the German Shepherd of the cat world; intelligent, beautiful, loyal and trustworthy

I have a seal point Siamese lady. She is such an affectionate girl. Chats to me all the time and follows me everywhere I go. Is by my side all the time. They are an amazing breed and so beautiful.
The fur changing due to temperature is awesome. I can't wait to tell people this fact.
They shed really bad in fall and spring because of their fur changing.
I have definitely noticed this! Its so cool! Even their eyes as well. Depending on the light their blue eyes tend to stand out more
One of my daughter's favorite shows on PBS was Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat. Sagwa was a Siamese kitten who lived in an emperor's royal palace. Her antagonists were the emperor's two Pugs who thought cats had no place in the palace. Luckily for Sagwa, she was the favorite palace pet.
That was my daughters favorite show too and the Big Comfy Couch
My Siamese was found as a kitten in a mixed feral group in the Miami area (he was the only Siamese). He's so beautiful- he's not slender at all, but the other type, solid and with a broad, round head. Sometimes I can't even believe how beautiful he is. And, like this says... so, so affectionate. 😻
I think just how strong the gene is for siamese is worth mentioning. One that I saw wandering around a few times knocked up a tabby n she popped out a siamese. So now I have a siamese in my group of 12 outside cats that I feed. He's even cross-eyed
Oh wow! That makes sense because crossed-eyes are more common in stray Siamese since they aren't bred to avoid the trait.
Siamese are definitely fun, especially in pairs! 🐾 Glad to hear you enjoy the content. 😺
My dad raised Siamese cats years ago. He had 2: Mister Jasper and Lady CoCo! Very friendly and never stopped “talking!”😸
Awww Jacob is such a cute name. 🐾 And yes, we are definitely their servants. 😹
mr Jacob Black !
They can be quite insistent.
When I was a kid I was afraid of Siamese cats because someone told me that they were mean.
Luckily, I had a friend who owned a Siamese, which was a very sweet cat.
I think the original Lady And The Tramp gave this breed a bad rap.
I think you're absolutely right about the effect Lady and the Tramp had. 100%.
I love Siamese cats, "I had" two girls, one blue and another chocolate point. They are so cuddly!!
Hahaha, yes, some people toilet train their cats! It's pretty cool.
@@ThePurringJournal She had another amazing skill , she could jump six feet up on the dresser without running start.
I always wanted to train my cat to do that when I was young. Our cat knocked his litter box off the tip of the toilet a few times before my mom made me give up because it was messy
Give up the training not the cat
@@zuglymonster I would not even know where to start😂. I can clean the mess if I knew how to train. Or if my cat can learn it too.
All the facts about the breed ..good
Use to have a mixed Siamese he was more Siamese than alley. Miss him
I had a gorgeous blue point for 17 years she was gorgeous I broke my heart when she died in her sleep I was heavily pregnant and I could not stop sobbing x
Great video, the siamese is one of my favorite cat breeds🐱
I have the most adorable “just wanna be a part of the family” photo. lol white cross eyed guy in a pile of torby, orange and tux, hehe
fantastici.. e che sguardo magnetico.. il fatto piu' sorprendente e' che siano riusciti a scoprire vari microfoni..
notevoli
We had a Siamese when I was kid. He was absolutely gorgeous, smart too🙂 Their amazing.
My grandmother had a flame-point Siamese with slightly crossed eyes, he was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. His name was Norten (I think, I only knew him was I was a kid)
i really want a flame point siamese in the future. their ADORABLE!! ✨
Maybe I will be pet parent to a Siamese cat. We cat sat for my uncle's cat many years ago. He wanted us to keep him, but we were not as cat educated as we are now so we didn't appreciate Alex and his qualities. He didn't need the stress of having to be re-homed again either.
They are a wonderful breed! If you are interested in adopting one I recommend checking out a Siamese rescue first. 😺🐾
I've never heard that before!!!🐾🐾😺
Glad you enjoyed it! 🐾😺
I lost my Levi in 2015 at 16 yrs old. He was so special I cry to this day
My lynx point Siamese has crossed eyes. I got her at the animal shelter. She is a great cat!
I have a lynx Siamese too
@@coolcatcole3646 That's cool!
So adorable! Very typical Siamese behavior. ❤️ Felix and Pixie are lucky kitties.
My care provider has a siamse 🐈😻🐈⬛😺🐱😸 cat named sebastion!
I love my Siamese cat. His name is, bubbie and he’s my 4:30 AM cat clock
Haha, breakfast is serious business to every cat! 😹❤
I have one and he is so cute. He doesn’t like to be held so it makes me kind of sad. He will cuddle a little but he doesn’t tolerate being picked up.
I never found a single flea or tick on him.
He was my friend. Best cat ever.
I'm impressed with this informative video about Siamese cats! They're so beautiful 😍!
Thank you! 😊 I'm glad you found it interesting. And yes, they are indeed beautiful! 😺
@@ThePurringJournal You're welcome.😻😻😻
I've had in my yrs they love too talk they're Unreal cat's they're the best companions BEAUTIFUL talkative smart ❤
Interesting! I have a flame point Siamese kitty named Jasper and he still has tabby lines on his tail haha.
My siamese cat likes to sit on my shoulder while I walk around the neighborhood. I can go for miles with him.
Thank you for the information! I can't wait for your next topic, I love your channel 🐾🐾😸
In theory, their eyes should look violet to animals that can see that color better than humans. I'm kind of jealous! 😹 Btw, thanks for your PAWsome support. 🐾
@@ThePurringJournal Thank you as well for your channel! I wish we could see the violet eyes, that would be really neat 😺
Poor Cat, being declawed. You said “already” as if you would’ve done it had it not been done already. I find that really sad.
@@fshoaps No, I wouldn't have done it, just was surprised that someone did it and he was outside that way. Declawing is cruel.
My lynx point Siamese has crossed eyes. It’s the cutest darn thing!!!
I always loved Doreen Tovey's stories about her Siamese, so I got Rudi, a half Siamese. Black coat, but Siamese voice & character. A real kindred spirit 💕💖
My Siamese had at least two black litter mates, and my mom has one of them. He does have a few Siamese traits.
He was a sweetheart and would never hurt a soul at least not intentionally🐈🐾🐈
His name was Toasty by the way cuz he look like a toasty marshmallow. Sadly he's gone but I eventually got over it.🐈🐾🐈
My aunt and uncle has a Siamese Boy i love him.
I have a seal point siamese and a flame point siamese. Jasmine and Angel are as sweet as they can be. She definitely acts like she is a princess and gets treated like that too. Angel acts like he's the boss at times, but is very easy going.
Fascinating I've never had a Siamese cat before. ✌
They're a super cool breed!
...Benim oldu,kıymetini bilmiyordum...
My fiancé has a siamese that likes to watch TV with me.
His favorite is cheesy horror movies. He's glued to the TV if I have a resident evil movie on.
He's a lovable talkative goober.
I got a light gray siemes, she's literally the reason I feel in love with cats
RIP BOCCI. You mommy my Auntie Michelle misses you dearly. Please stay close and protect her always. Love Venus
I have a tortie point Siamese and she is literally the BEST cat I have ever had, her personality is so funny and loving!! She’s my angel baby 😍😍
6:39 looks just like Saphir :D thats my siam cat :3
I have 4 lynx point siames and 3 other siamese mixes. They're wonderful cats. I call their fur mood ring fur. It's incredible they start out as a blank slate then before you know it all this stripes and markings appear. Truly beautiful animals
Your "Facts About" series is great, thanks! ❤😺🐆😺❤
Glad you enjoyed it! 😻
On my way to adopt one now!
My cat is a Siamese cat!
My tuxedo girl had an albino cat who had a super cute Siamese cat with tuxedo cat markings. White paws. White chest. White chin. And white boots on his back paws. And you can see the difference between the Siamese brownish white compared to the tux cat white. It’s so adorable ❤
I am a breeder of siamese cats in NH I adore them 💖
Siamese are my favorite.
I think of them as funny cats because I image they got their look by looking into an exhaust pipe and getting a face full of soot.
Traditional Siamese cats are properly named Thai cats and they're actually super common. I have a Thai cat.
It sounds like you're his human! 😻🐾
I have 2 siamese cats
I miss my Siamese! The best dog I ever had❤️🐈⬛🐕❤️
I grew up with my grandmother having a siamese and she was evil. I said I would never own one. I now have three with a fourth on the way.
It’s crazy cause we had no siamese cats and yet one was still born and I didn’t even know that he was a siamese cat until recently and he’s a really great friend he always hangs out with me and when i talk to him he always responds well
0:25 i had a siamise named Nina, that have quite a personality.
My cat was completely white when he was a kitten, and now he looks like a tabby Siamese so there ARE some Siamese genes in him
The best excuse for not getting up and doing what was asked was" I have a cat in my lap. And yes, they were Siamese.
This was fantastic.
We love our kitten I wish I had another one
My siamese cat is very slim. His arms, legs and face is thin. But since he eats a lot, his tummy is big. Lol can you imagine.
I miss my Mr. Flea 😭 he was a flame point Siamese. Dumb as dirt but the biggest cuddle bug ever.
