I have found that dividing the Roving into Slivers and pre-drafting the Slivers (30% longer) does save time and work when spinning the yarn. I spin on a Haldane Orkney wheel and ply on an Ashford Traditional wheel. I can spin and ply and pound of roving into 2-ply worsted yarn of twenty wraps per inch, in three days.
I would LOVE a video where you talk about how you chose your wheels, what you look for in a wheel (for your art yarn and your lace-weight), and more. I have a used Clemes and Clemes that I picked up for almost nothing and I love it, but I know eventually I will want something with a bit more flexibility. I would love to hear your thoughts on things like drive wheel size, ratios, accessory options for wheels, etc. I have been listening to your videos while I spin and I like the way you explain things :) I have had my eye on the Louet S10, mostly because of all of the options that there are for setting it up and because of the complete package deal that they offer.
I once wove a scarf on my loom with lace weight yarn. The end product was great, but.....NEVER. AGAIN. Ugh haha. That thing took me over a month to weave.
