hmm, yes... all convicts that was sent here was treated with the same royalties as the colonists that went to America.... This was back in the day where women had to lay there, take it and shut up, suck up to the men in red coats, the men were treated worse and horribly, the soldiers murdered indigenous for fun, they murdered women and men for fun. Children were disowned, from the half casts of indigenous/Europeans to the inducted servants... inducted means drafted, it's either they choose a life abroad or death at the hands of the King. Schools won't teach how brutal it really was, there was a rape culture, pregnancies where the woman had to raise her kids without a father, be disowned by anyone and fall into a horrible pit. Australia has it's own sick and sad history, not just for the indigenous, but also how they treated their own... unless you have money or power... be prepared to wash the feet of others to live, or face the chopping block
