Long-time Neil Diamond fan here. I made the trip to Boston to see one of the Sunday matinees. A very enjoyable afternoon. I hope to see it in New York when it plays there.
Saw it twice in Boston. Fantastic evening of entertainment. The reviews are in, they are predicting a smash hit on Broadway. They open in early November at the Broadhurst on West 44th.
I think this musical will help ensure that Neil's music will be known to all future generations. That thought makes me very, very happy, as my own life has been so enriched by it. Maybe that legacy doesn't. NEED a musical ... but a a regularly revivable mechanism, it's no bad thing.
Anything related to Neil Diamond will be a smash hit…. I expect a long run in NY for international fans to come to NY for vacations just to see the show…..❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
