Red Bull SŌLUS is BACK and BETTER than ever!
Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions - just an internal battle to get the best line possible.
There’s something in the water in Florida that continually produces amazing skaters. Meow Skateboards Poe Pinson is no exception. She’s another new up and comer that has a deep bag of tricks that are done with proper form and power. She took third place at this year’s X Games Women’s Street Comp, so she’ll be familiar with having to perform under the spotlight.
Poe skates for Meow Skateboards, Nike SB, Bones Wheels, Krux Trucks, Jessup Griptape, and Thread Wallets.
Our judges, Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer, will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity. Following the judges announcement, you will have a chance to vote on your favorite video part and the fan favorite will be announced on October 26th.

This is my first time watching Poe. She has got such a smooth/effortless style. I am now a fan :)

Agreed, actually looks like a skater, not a girl that skates. There is a big difference and there are only a few girls unfortunately tht look like skaters.

Although I get your joke, I would say the exact opposite. Noone is born to do anything anyhow but in skating that is especially true as it takes incredible dedication, willpower and more training hours than most people would believe. Talent plays a role but the work ethic is most important. That holds true for pretty much anything you start.
@@minimalerhh Yea... some people are born to skate. Skating really is easy for some people where they can just learn things so easy take Terry Kennedy for example. dude had a part in Baker after 1 year of skating
She's our hometown hero. They just renamed the little skate park where she learned "Poe Pinson Skate Park". Had a parade for her too.

Wow, so fun to watch her figure it out and get comfortable and then work up to stuff to put it all together. Good style as well, like a mix of surfing and karate sometimes. Especially on the rockˋnˋrolls and feebles.
