Oh yes me too! I'd like to know what has happened to my old 1957 GMC, my 1962 Impala SS, Ruby, Cash, Skye, and Old Dookuw, Big Turd, there are so many! I mention this same conversation to Mrs PIB often! Lol. Thanks buddy for your comment!
I have a 67 , only surface rust here and there , but rocker is getting small holes . Had bad window trim and my roll up windows rattled for 30 years . I'm fixing it up now , getting my new parts from Brothers Trucks
Good deal my friend! Those 67's are hard to find nowadays and very sought after as well! Glad you are working on it! Thanks for your comment my friend and for watching the videos! I truly appreciate it! Thanks buddy!
@@primeredisbest I looked inside the cab above the windshield and I have some small holes in a small area also . I might try to spot weld with the lowest setting , then sand it smooth and paint , not sure yet what caused it . I just got my window regulator and felt in , won't rattle now . next is a new dash pad and radio , lube the speedo cable and hook up new oil pressure line to gauge , I'm having fun getting this stuff done that has bothered me for so long , I love these trucks , most things inside the cab is metal .
Good emblem trivia, I had the AMC part right. My guess would have been an AMC AMX but after looking them up noticed the "X" in them were different than what yours was. Another common rust area on the fleetside steel beds are the bottoms of the tailgates and bed floor especially on the cross sill areas and very rear cross sill. Also the firewall around heater box area and cowl driprail/ lip.
Well I guess you were the closest to being right on the emblem trivia. I knew that if you read this you could come up with more problem areas. Thank you for you suggestions on where else to look at these type trucks. I appreciate it.
Thank you for watching the video! A 70 Chevy stepside would be great to have! I miss my 69 Chevy stepside truck! Just do your homework and look at everything carefully! They make everything for those trucks so you don't have to worry about that. It's like money in the bank really! Let me know how it goes and good luck to you my friend!
CONGRATULATIONS my friend on your purchase of your truck! You will have lots of fun playing with it! I hope that you will make a lot of great memories with it! Good job buddy!
How much did you buy it I’ve seen many that are overpriced and I had to sell mine that I bought for 750 so now I’m looking for something that runs with good condition and a fair price so me n my dad can work on it
That has been a long time ago since I bought that truck. So I can't remember. Just keep looking around and you might find one. I know that are going up on the prices on these trucks. Thanks!
I sure would like to have updates on all of your old trucks that you’ve sold.

Informative video, checking out to buy a 70 Chevy step side and I’m worried that the rust is going to be a lot!
