Nice review keep up the good work Tech Steve what's the asking price
I added links for current prices
Not for another 10 years
Is it better then the s95D Oled 4k
Use the xbox cloud gaming on it
Upscaling lower resolution content to near 8k is very good. Consumers who paid very high price for 8k televisions deserves more that just a few 8k videos on UA-cam. We need 8k Blu-ray players and native 8k movies on Disc.
I agree, i think it would take several disc on Blu ray tho, the capacity is not there
Interwebs people seem to booboo Samsung's upscaling. What appears sorely lacking is upscaling comparisons across brands and screens on independently chosen media.
Wow sir,you have killed it so early wow.
This might be the one to get. Thanks for posting your early impressions!
I'm intrigued as well. Having the best in upscaling seems to be worth it when investing in 8K anyway.
Very curious how 8K and upscaling will impact productivity display quality with various input deviced from phone to simple laptop and high-end gaming PC.
@@Cloxxki I briefly had it, and it was fantastic. I hardly watch older, low resolution content, but everything else was fantastic. Gameplay was smooth and fluid. The TV is extremely bright. I highly recommend it if you have a lot of natural light coming into your room. I couldn't stay away from OLED so I bought the S90C 83". You can't go wrong with either honestly.
Asking around, the interwebs seems to agree that Samsung is not even close to Sony and LG for upscaling, so the Samsung marketing may have had its way with me and professional reviewrs.
Wow I can't wait until 8K Superior High Vision SHV is ready 💯👍🏾
You know what's better than upscaling? Native.
Love your vids though, you've helped me.
streaming 4k is not native to begin with, this is where this TV and its upscaling chip comes in. If you want native, use a 4k Bluray player.
What I Like most about this is the selvir finishing on stand and edges.
You the first to do an actual review
All the guys are talking oled even during this review of a led tv
I like oled but I don't think it's for Tvs even VR... It's for phones and tablets period medium to small up to 42 inch or 55
Bezels are really thin
Yes, this is a very nicely built TV. Just very expensive
Would you consider explaining the various LED types and recommend a 4k TV under
1,000 dollars US? When I look at the Best Buy web site there are so many LED
types I can't tell which is the better type, and what type of dimming is best, and why?
Super video Steve 👌🏻
I’m amazed with the 900c picture but looking forwards to checking the d version out asap , there could be a new arrival this summer ..❤
Got mine today.😊
What size
@@TechSteve 85" I have a video on my channel.
@@TechSteve85"
@@TechSteve85"
I'm jealous , congrats.
Do you think this will be a decent/notable upgrade coming from a 85' QN95B? I'm either going to go with the 900D 85 inch or a 83' G4. 900D looks amazing
No sure about the G4 because it's different technology but the upscaling and processor has some huge improvements over previous generations
Good review Steve. Thanks
Hmm how can I put the soundbar beneath it with this stand ?
what is the number of colors ?
$5,000 for the 65". Crazy.
True but that price will come down around black Friday. This Is the one I'd get over any other TV this year including any OLED , this would be an endgame TV for few years... but you're right the price is sky high.
If you are able to see the TV with higher quality that means your system is already supporting that quality . Because you can see only what your system supports 😂😂
No Dolby vision which enabled same way add Dolby atmos support to it through 3rd party app from Dolby same one LG uses to this day. Ps5 features Dolby atmos and spatial audio and bunch HDR formats support only.
Hello I have a question please ;
So I have 2 choice between 2 models and I would like to have your opinion and what do you recommend me between
- the Crystal model 55CU7105 UHD
Or
- Qled model 55Q60C
I love watching movies and i also play gaming with my ps4 pro soon ps5 pro and I wonder which model I should
A good quality like a long life so which 1 should I choose please hope you reply thanks 🙏
Qled every time
@@TechSteve okay thank you 🙏
İ have 75Qn900b , which one is better for nit ? İ want to buy this but i need help.
Went to Best Buy to look at this tv and sales guy said the OLED S 95 D was better due to picture quality??? Confused me
I was watching another video where they said all Samsung TVs made within the last 5 model years will get the new Tizen OS found on the 2024 models according to a source from Samsung. That would be interesting if that's the case.
I agree but it’s rare that they update OS it could be a nightmare with bricked TVs where people have poor internet or unplugged it during updates. We shall see
@@TechSteve the latest frimware update at least for the Q 2023 series did get an UI color and front change with the latest 1402.x firmware update. it's still running on Tizen OS 7.0 though, so I don't know if this update was a precursor to a Tizen OS update or what. I also don't know if Samsung's ever done something like this before where they update the UI color and font with an existing Tizen OS. I also don't know if any other models or Q series from previous years got that same update change to its UI color and font.
@SteelRhinoXpress I wouldn’t know that, since I do this channel with one other person unfortunately I don’t get a chance to test TVs after videos are completed
Hi Samsung tv QN 900d tuner stellte to tv dvbs2 or dvbs2x?
This is a USA model we don't use DVBS ports
8k will be a thing when it price drops .and more content in 8k with people having faster internet
I was going to get the Samsung QN900D back in April 2024 but suprisingly the picture quality of the Sony Z9K still impressed me even with less local dimming zones, Sony's local dimming algorithm with the Back Light Master Drive is no joke...so I ended up with an 85" Z9K
I read the specs 4k@240hz game over
the price though!
Do these tv upscale 480p to close 8k plz share if this can I ts time to purchase
Upscaling works best with 1080p or higher
If we ask online, it seems Samsung is NOT the marketleader in upscaling it presents itself as. Where are the side by side upscaling comparisons across brands?
peak brightness in Game Mode?
Lucky man Steve😊
I was honored that Samsung invited me to there facilities to get a 1st look, not much time but i got a fast footage
@@TechSteve Lucky man Steve ha ha ha ha l had to say it twice
@michaelwyckoff7593 thanks Mike 👍🏽
Which one you think is better the Sony X 95L 85 inches or Samsung 900 D ?
QN900D - 8K res.. 240fps.. brighter.. and great AI upscaling now.
Will this work with a PS5 and do you need a internet connection?
You can use HDMI but everything requires Internet for updates
Does it come in 98 inches?
Nope, all the sizes are in the description
Why don’t Samsung put all the bells and whistles into there 4K range
Only, its not good for pc gamers as we dont want bigger than 55', which isn't available, and consoles only do 120. Between those 2 things the 240hz is trivial. Id buy it if i could get 55'
"Yes it's here 8k ..💟🙃
d🤕🇪🇺
I've always wondered why Samsung TV's movie picture mode are always so yellowish. Even in this video when you jump from Filmmaker to Movie made it gets so much yellower
Movies have a warm temperature in general
@@TechSteve Thanks foe the reply! Maybe I just don't like the yellow personally, if filmmaker mode is ''normal'' why does movie mode make everything yellow
0:30 is that a dent?
There is some conflicting info on if the tv supports 8k @ 120 hz input. Their official specs says it has a 120 hz refresh rate but that can be misleading. It would be great if someone can confirm.
120Hz seem correct the 240Hz is for gaming with VRR only
@@TechSteve Super présentation !
est-ce que le 240 hz est compatible avec la PlayStation 5 sur ce téléviseur ? Merci de votre réponse
Problem Xbox exclusives designed with Dolby vision with atmos audio which enables once Dolby excess app is installed and calibrated. ps5 and possibly ps5 pro features only HDR tech and Dolby atmos and Dolby spatial audio due to feature in it remote. So new Samsung is ideal for PlayStation not Xbox so if got Xbox going have to wait intel Dolby vision able 8k TV’s release other than ones from previous years.😊
Nowadays TVs are just large screens. Unlike Early 2000s, 90s or 80s. TVs were black squares in between of two speaker grills. But not today.
Nice comment captain obvious
Is this really 240hz
No reason to get this when the QD oled exist
You're not going to want to use a console on this TV. PC that can utilize that 244 hz refresh rate would be ideal. Ps5 and Xbox 1X will only bottle neck at 120 fps..
Best tv but price 😅
Samsung is nerfing their tvs. Not worth the headache. They get you to buy, then lower the brightness so you buy again for their next tv
Hpe if samsung use usb type C in one conecte will be faster and more smaller
maybe in the future
@@TechSteve thanks for answering hope that to
Best tv but price 😅 and
8k tv without 98"
Bravia 9 is so Screwed! Will be Eaten Alive.
Its a great (8K) LED tv for sure ... but $5000 for an 65 inch tv in 2024 🤔 Thx, but i'll pass. Ya'll have $5000 laying around for an tv 🤔🙃 God knows how much the 77" goes for.
A $5000 Samsung tv is going to be worth half the price next year after you purchased it ... its not like they keep their value like an Sony or an Apple product. One could buy 2 great Oled tv's for that price, plus not have to deal with things such as blooming, lesser contrast and bad off angle view. Would be interesting if their was an 55" but i'm guessing they will never release one on the market.
It’s the best model they make and it’s extremely pricey
This is the best TV this year imo from what I see and features, better than all the oleds too outside of the A95L , but I'd pick this even over that , im over oled hype. QN900D and Sony's 4000 nit flagship mini led will be the top tvs to get this year , I think this Is mini LED's year.
@@fawkkyutuu8851 I'm, waiitng until Sony relases their next 8K tv which is very likely next year unless they have offically gievn up on 8K. 8k res, new processing system and the fact that the tv may not be replaced by Sony themselves for possibly 3+ years if worth me waiing for it instead of buying a Bravia 9 this year
@@michaelangst6078 I'd be all over a new Sony 8K tv for sure.
So the TV BARLEY makes 8K.... gotcha
Lol rediculous. A processor can only do so much upscaling. The picture will look blurry on almost everything
YOU SEE PRICES FOR 8K TVS 😂
It’s the best they make and you’re definitely going to have to pay top dollar for it. 💵💵💵
What do you think of samsung 4k QLED TVS HAVE AN 85 INCH
Nits ?????? 😂😮😮😮
No spec but it’s more than bright enough
I believe It's 2,400 10% window
You dont need console
No Dolby Vision Samsung its a no go
They have HDR10+ which is virtually the same thing and more streaming services are supporting it
i't a miniled tv but still got some bad black level... the QN90C or QN90D 4k tvs looks better
Hope you didn’t pay for this model 😭
This was recorded at the Samsung facilities
It ain’t oled so money down the drain
Typical samsung you can even see the vignette around the screen smh still 2024 and they still have ass screen uniformity
I wish people would mention the screen size when they review or show case a TV
My bad, i had 8 hrs to film 4 TVs
