I hope you chooms enjoyed and learned something new. I hate to say it but the TTRPG is all we have for the next 5+ years and its been set in stone that 2077 is getting no more content. We are already lucky we got 2.1 to wrap it all up. I've been extremely sick the past 4 days which has delayed a lot of my Content. Since this was an informative shorter video, I could get through the production easier.
At 40 years old, I've seen studios say "we're done making content for a game" only for more content to be released a year later. Especially over the past 10 years, but definitely seen it happen before that. Whether CDPR means it or not is irrelevant since there's enough precedent, it's completely understandable for people to keep their hopes up no matter how much a studio denies any work on new content. I Thought putting 2077 & Red would be clear enough as in my perspective, it's already been confirmed several times over that 2.2 was the last content update. That was my bad though
@@LayedBackGamersin the title, yes, but the thumbnail doesn't specify. And, it uses the Cyberpunk 2077 logo cut off by a picture of Lucy. So, it can be confusing just by going by the thumbnail, but that's on me as I should have read the title. Either way, this is good news for the TTRPG fans.

I just hope there is some more merchandise based on the Cyberpunk franchise over the next few years while we wait for the next videogame to arrive. I know there are a couple of board games out there and a couple of Edgerunners action figures coming in mid 2024, I wish there were more figures based on the video game though, I would love to have an Adam Smasher action figure.
Been waiting for that full body conversion volume for a bit now! Writing up a whole 100+ page PDF on Detroit's huge prison combat zone as a homebrew expansion in RED, but Detroit isn't complete if I can't turn someone into Robocop levels of borged. Having a baseline to read up on from the official writers is paramount.
Yeah I know they had a conversion system for the conversions (lol), but it would never be the same as a fleshed out DLC. I know I've played with those who wanted to chrome out so bad, so i'm happy this is coming true!

Dude Im making a mess in my head with the timeline and idk if the lore changed a little bit with the night city archives that are now available with the launch of phantom liberty, hopefully you cna do a video expaining if something changed about the timeline lore
@@LayedBackGamers well first thabk you for taking the time for clearing out my confusion, i think that what i struggle understanding is the situation and panorama on red, cause the corpo center is pretty much destroyed right but i did understand that his was because the 4th corpote war thst enden with the detonation of the bomb on the arasaka towers do that is why the corpo center is destroyed and aldo the man issue on red is the nexy war that is the unificaction war right? That happens on the red time line correct? Sorry Im trying to get in to the deep lore and Im trying to understans everything but with the things that are no crear on 2077 about the before lore im kinda los on how the things happened
@@darksisteroflimbs6373 So the Unification War happened more around 2070 off the top of my memory. So since time of red is up to 2045 maybe a bit after, it isn't brought up in the sourcebooks yet. It will only be once the 2077 sourcebooks release that it is brought up at all. In relation to corpo center, that entire area was destroyed but they kept the rubble of Arasaka tower then built the new corpo plaza around it.

I don't play tabletop games but you make me want to play this. I never got to play cyberpunk only watched the anime. But really love the lore and watched all your lore vids about NC.
It's always worth giving it a shot, especially if you have a friend group that's interested. If not, the R Talsorian discord has a lot of groups looking for players daily

@@Gandalfthegoldenbird It's been stated by the devs that 2.1 was the final major update as CDPR are shifting nearly all the employees to Polaris and Orion. Meaning there's only an opportunity for minute patches and MAYBE some minor gameplay features. Certainly not an expansion or anything of the sort. Do not delude yourself and just be happy we got 2.1 and have Talsorian to provide us with new projects until Orion.
