Be sure to check parts availability in your area before you make a decision, the engine and some chassis parts are the same as in Land-cruiser BJ40 / FJ40 Sadly this one is probably dead, i trade it for a w123 mercedes in 2011 and last time i checked the registration information of this truck it was listed as removed from traffic. :( Rust kills every good car.

Was the "glow" position on the ignition or is it a separate toggle switch?

No need to press the cluch. The glow was in the ignition key. Between power and start positions if I remember correct.
