I always see people say that Sam's the funny guy of the group, but everyone overlooks the fact that Ashley is the one who consistently cracks Sam himself up. She's so on-point and quick with her jokes that sometimes she flies under the radar.
This may be one of my favourite moments from c1, right up there with the love potion incident. You rarely see the entire cast collapse into gales of laughter like this anymore. Liam disappearing into his laughter zone is always good

Liam is so right. All of the seriousness of a campaign, the grinding sessions, the "boss" battles. They are part and parcel of D&D, but this is the kind of thing that you remember and *love* about D&D - not the mechanics or worldbuilding, but the fun with friends.
This is why we play these games. Sometimes for the fight, sometimes for the story, and sometimes because the stars align just right and out of nowhere you realise that you've accidentally set up a ten-minute gauntlet of solid-gold punchlines. Just pure, golden apples hanging from the lowest branch, there for the taking. Sam going full James Mason for that "*really*?" is just perfect.
I like the idea that Vex was not only on top (and really, did any of us ever doubt it?) but stayed like that even though she realized Doty was looking at her long enough to be drawn.

Amazon honestly, honestly, would win if they added non LoVM episode featurettes in addition to the series that adds bits of story that might need to be cut for episode time and pacing purposes to do them full justice... Parts that aren't necessarily plot related but are so essential to REALLY knowing the group 😄

I wrote a unevercity study on this in conversation-analysis on theese 15 min on how there is a conversation happening on 3 levels, its the character to character, dm to player and in some sence DM to character. The most fun I ever had in university

Do keep in mind that Senior Year was never polished to the point of being a full production. It was intended to be a Table Read at Leaky Con, but in true Starkid Fashion, they decided, "Eff it let's bring out the costumes and make it a full production run through." So they all have their scripts and read off them at times and the costumes were never stage tested so physical shenanigans ensued during the performance. So what was intended to be only a Table Read at Leaky Con turned into, essentially, a full Starkid Musical performed live at Leaky Con. They had, like, one day to actually rehearse this and Darren had, like, half a day because he flew in on the day of the performance fresh off the Glee set.
Liam: I pull the sheets a little higher...
