Nah. This little four wheeler would do even better in a small driveway. I just did another snow about a month ago. I found that you need to keep up with the snowfall. Being 2 wheel drive, 4-5” of snow max. Anything more and you start to have trouble.
I’ll make a video of the mounting bracket. I should have done a better job, but I rushed it last year ahead of a snow storm. However, it works, so I juts left it alone. Very easy set up.
where abouts in PA? I am looking at the exact same thing 4 sale. Hence the searching out Y-T. Also does your "blade" have the rubber piece on the bottom?
mike johnson I’m around reading PA. Mine has a metal blade on the bottom, I made a new one out of 1/4” steel. I only paid like 75 bucks for it and used almost all the brackets that it came with. We only got one snow a far, but it worked really good. Saved me from getting the snowblower out.
That's a pretty nice set up on your Recon. I'm not too far from you up here on the Pa/NY border. I have that same Craftsman snow blade and a 2004 Recon. I want to make a universal mount to put the plow onto the Recon, my Yamaha 350 Big Bear, and a lawn tractor. You're right about using a ATV to make a quick job out of a driveway vs a snow blower. I've built up my snow removal equipment so I can select what best suits the job. I currently use my 1987 TRX 250 with a 42" Cycle Country plow for my sidewalks. Tire chains help, but anything heavy or over 5", I switch to the snowblower. The 42" plow is too small for the driveway or parking lot, so I have a 7' Winter Wolf plow on my F-150.
This is awesome, you should do a video on how you made the brackets for mounting it and for the adjustment arm, would love to see it!
Awesome Video! I have the same exact ATV. Mounting a plow on it next week!
Nice setup but I'm telling on you for pushing your snow across the street lol
Awesome Just what I need for my Quad I am getting tried of getting off mind and switching my plow every time I plow
Had the same year Recon 250 2wd that we used to push our dirt track cars onto the trailers. Thing pushed like a freight train. Then it got stolen lol
I just subscribed
This is awesome! Do you think you need to have a huge driveway like yours to justify this setup?
