To create continuity around the candle vs having an overlap you can cut the paper to exact measurements vs the two pieces over lapping and then fold it so the seams meet up perfectly and stamp over the seams and then cont. to stamp everywhere else, then add the embossing powder and continue on it might not line up perfectly but it will seem almost seamless :)
Edna Pendleton there is a tutorial on UA-cam that someone used a fake candle. Her is the link to that video ua-cam.com/video/nQ10-cV2BOY/v-deo.html. Or in the search button type stamping on battery operated candles.
I've read these kind of candle projects can be a fire hazard, so one suggestion is to burn it until it pools, then put in a tealight. This way you can keep the candle forever.
Been using this technique for years and never once encountered a fire hazard with these. When I use a fancy paper napkin the middle burns and the outside stays, once the candle has burned down a good bit I then add another smaller candle to the middle, like you suggested

That is extraordinary! Exquisite! Thank you!
I love this idea would make a lovely gift thank you Gina x
You could avoid the overlap look by not stamping right to the end and then applying that bit first.
This is great.....I love it!!!!
can you actually burn these candles after you have applied the tissue paper effect.
Subtítulos en español? Seria regio.

Does the tissue paper literally become a part of the wax so when it's lit and as it burns down it won't show at all,?
Same question I have
just wondering could you use decorative tissue napkin paper?

How much can I charge for this candle? And can this burn as a normal candle?
The tissue paper needs to be completely saturated with wax and they are safe to burn. She mentions this at the end of the second video.

Nhung Nguyen looks like a Uchida brand heat tool.
U can also use a hair dryer

Versamark ink and embossing powder.
