I bet I've watched 30 tutorials about these coasters. Yours is by far the best..without question. It was not only beautiful, but it made sense. Also I gotta say, you are the best at what you do. All of your tutorials are explained well, accurately and beautifully. Thank you!
What a fun and easy project! Makes a great gift idea for people who are hard to buy for. Love the diversity in that you can be as creative as you wish.
Very good video!!! Have a little something to add, if that's ok. If you want to say, add small colored details, like the bottom of a butterfly's wing, you can use a very small detail brush by brushing, say with blue, across the blue StazOn and when fished, clean the brush with tiny bit of alcohol. I wash my brushes when completely finished. I have done this for a few years now.
oooooo I'm so excited! I just bought that stamp set and now I have a fabulous new way to use it. Thanks so much. Love all your videos and wonderfully creative ideas
going to Home Depot this weekend, so will bring my 'Grocery' list with me...lol...love your video's, Gina...These would be nice for Christmas or anytime gifts...
I am DEFINITELY gonna try making these...what great gifts these would be!! Hoping?? Lowe's or Menards has something similar as we don't have a Home Depot anywhere even close..rats!! Curious to know if anyone has seen them at either Lowe's or Menards...thanks Gina for a SUPER Fantastic video tutorial!! Take care,
Hey JoPuttPutt, You absolutely CAN find these @ Lowe's. That's where I purchased mine. My box is labeled, "Tumbled Stone" And the box contained 9 tiles. Enjoy!
Gina, same here for the coasters! I watched and made several coaster tutorials but yours is the best! Matter of fact I like all your colored pencils samples! They are just exquisite! My girlfriend is now into painting w/acrylics. She's new to scrapbook/stamping and the like. Do you have any painting videos i can send her that use all the options of the colored pencils? Heck maybe she'll change mediums after she she sees your pencil videos!! By the way, thanks for doing these videos! I appreciate your hard work :)
Hi Gina. Of course I don’t know if you still check for comments on old projects, but if you happen to see this, could you tell me if these coasters can be used for hot drinks without the cups sticking to the base and then removing the ink? I also wonder if it would work if you repeated the whole process using glazed tiles? Thanks Gina
I have a question. I just watched your video and am excited to try this. I went to Home Depot today as well as Lowe’s and cannot find these tiles. Where in the store did you find your tiles? Thanks so much.
I used StazOn ink and it still came off when I rinsed the coasters. Not a lot but enough. I know you said there wasn't any type of sealing or heat setting needed but something should be done. Ideas?
Hi I love your site. Thank you so much! : ) I've looked allover your site and can't find a butterfly set with this quote, I just find the butterfly. Is there a set with the quote too? ?Thanks ; )

Can you please tell me what stamps you used please. Thanks so much best ideas for coasters I've seen!
I make these as well. I add a coat of glazing medium to seal them.
I also use acrylic paint to add colour before sealing. :0)
Love your video and technique using Tumble Tiles. Can pigment ink be used to color the tiles along with Stazon? Thanks for your response.

That's that was so informative, I will try this at some point. Very pretty.
Thanks so much!!

The stampset in which Gina refers to is called "Take Flight".
You also can put some crystal lacquer on it to achieve the tile ...?
I used StazOn ink and it still came off when I rinsed the coasters. Not a lot but enough. I know you said there wasn't any type of sealing or heat setting needed but something should be done. Ideas?
If you can use this ink on these tiles, couldn't you just sand a porcelain tile and use that ? Also, can you use this on etched glass?
So, these are called "tumbled"? I hope they are still used!!(here, in 2023...14 years later!!)
Hi I love your site. Thank you so much! : )
I've looked allover your site and can't find a butterfly set with this quote, I just find the butterfly. Is there a set with the quote too? ?Thanks ; )
Is there an alternative to Stazon? Versafine?
Nice video thanks!
