This recipe is fast & easy! Using frozen strawberries mixed with sugar is time saving and really brings out the sweetness of the fruit. Loved the precise cutting of the cakes into bite size pieces - makes for a nice presentation!

Ummm... you do know that this is based on an old Victorian recipe for Strawberry Triffle from England? It is definitely Americanized with the sweetened, condensed milk and nuts, but you took it even further by using cake mixes, cool-whip, frozen strawberries and everything else convenient.
I'm not dissing your video - but I do urge you to watch and make what a Strawberry Triffle is one time... you might be amazed! And yeah, I am a good ol' Southern Boy born in GA but appreciate from scratch recipes instead of a bunch of prepackaged ingredients... 😁

You do know we didn't ask you for this useless information, right ? Maybe you could've worded it a bit differently without being rude .please make a video and show us how to do it from scratch 😅

@@mightystrong5484 and @sandrahernandez310 - Well gee, Sandra and mightystrong - I don't feel I was rude, or gave some "useless" information - the creator may have not been aware that Strawberry Trifle existed. I gave her some feedback on her recipe and what she was demonstrating for everyone else by trying to help move to some more homemade, classic recipes (which by the way, trifle has existed since the late 1500's) and are probably much more healthy then the prepackaged, chemical laden stuff that we get here in the US these days.
I don't make trifle; mainly, because I don't (anymore) live in Europe and there are many, MANY recipes and videos that show how to do it perfectly from people that are British, and grew up with it available on YT. While trifle isn't as popular today when I grew up and lived there (I am in my mid-50's), it still is a classic British dessert that deserves some good love, is delicious and (let's face it!) these days there is almost no dessert like this is healthy, at least doesn't have all the chemicals and additives that stuff does today.
I would actually counter to the both of you that your comment is "useless," since you couldn't produce any issue with mine other than ("rude" or "useless"); next time, I urge you to prove a poster wrong by saying "Hey! This isn't Strawberry Trifle at all!!!!" and provide some backup to your viewpoint; until then, neither of you don't have a legitimate argument or complaint.
      Go in peace,
      RBS
