    The Copenhagen track that got previewed a few years ago but never happened 😞 I visited Copenhagen in 2019 and went for my evening run around the proposed layout…trust me, that would have been epic! Split pitlane, mega long straights, bridges, figure of 8…it would have been immense.

      Gps location and map over the track..
      I really can't believe that people complain over unknown noise level, and that they wouldn't be able to use the road for a few days.
      It would've generated so much more tourism and prestige to the city, if it could boast itself as a Grand Prix destination.
      It was just before corona really hit the news, back in 2018... there was dead water in media, so as soon as somebody questioned it and unreasonable complaints started its whispering, media was all over it, (sensation media) then the mayor and vital spearhead movers backed out.
      A absolute shame that what you perceive but don't know can become reality.... people imagining stuff's voices weigh heavier than experts and insiders such as Magnussen who really spoke for the track

    Would love to see F1 return to Kyalami for the following reasons:
    1. So much history at the circuit (Lauda, Clark, Ferrari, Williams and Lotus).
    2. It is a technical flowing circuit similar to RedBull ring. So not another fancy street circuit that's become the norm in F1
    3. The area around the circuit has been totally revamped into a new mini-city called Waterfall which will provide loads of entertainment and hospitality to teams and fans.
    4. The circuit has been renovated extensively too from Porsche's investments after purchasing it
    5. If FIA really do want to do complete their 'World championship' title they should come to Africa to completely be on all continents
    6. There is a growing motorsport scene in South Africa and a substantial F1 following.

Considering it would be a bit more of a hilly/mountainous track, it would have a lot more rise and falls, with the potential of creating an iconic corner that is on par with the likes of Eau Rouge/Raidillon of Spa, Turn one of the USGP or the Corkscrew of Laguna Seca. I think a street race in Paris would be one of the coolest things ever. For example a hairpin around the arc the triomphe, and past the eiffel tower. Beside that, it would be an amazing spectacle, possibly comparible to races like Baku...

  • @Ar-yy4wb
    @Ar-yy4wb 2 роки тому +9

    I'd wanna see more street circuits in big cities because watching the cars race in the streets of cities is nice. One good example is Baku and another one is Singapore. Baku provides really good racing and Singapore is just great to watch. Also there have been some historic battles in street circuits.

      Bathurst would be my dream F1 race. Until you have been to the track in person you'll never understand how steep and tight the track is in places... Defiantly a tack you need to respect.

    • @99TJS1
      @99TJS1 2 роки тому +1

      I think F1 have looked at it. Doesn't fit out FIA regulations. Mostly just too steep. They'd need to pit way too many times. There's also no international airports nearby. Also too much risk of roadkill kangaroos. A v8 can handle it, an f1 car cannot.

    Hear me out. We have have a race somewhere on the coast of the Mediterranean to give it that Monaco feel but it gives a chance to have a track with better overtaking opportunities. I think somewhere cool would be like Greece, Cyprus, or even the Croatian coast like Dubrovnik. I love seeing historical tracks and would love to see some of the classics again but seeing new tracks (as long as they are well done) are an absolute joy. Lets just not make too many races a year so these people can see their families once and a while.

    I love seeing you living your life, doing these videos and podcasts, pursuing other racing passions. I hope to see you in more F1 broadcasts because like many others have said, you bring such a special perspective and energy. With all that being said, I have this weird, strong feeling of wanting you to do one or two more seasons of F1. I feel like you’d have so much fun and experience it through a completely different lens. I think it would be some of your most fun and joyous racing experiences, and some of your best driving, regardless of your physical abilities or level of the car. That’s selfishly from a fans perspective, of course. It’s just a feeling and a cool thought. I feel like you drove incredibly especially given the different weights of roles, pressure, anxiety, self-doubt, etc. I feel like that was all a picolo’s weighted cape and clothes.
    You’d be a freebird flying. Regardless of what you choose, it’ll be dope. We appreciate you, man
