This ship will probably be one of the last ships made just given the foundation tech that will have to be designed from scratch.....and I'm ok with that. I hope this ship has so much gameplay that you could float along in far reaches of space in peace running around it doing things. I imagine being in charge of various npc science, medical and other on board specialist directing their actions to accomplish a-z. Like a real starship captain!

It possible it made be put in game sooner than later. Think about all the other ships that have modular swap out pieces. The caterpillar, the carrack, the retaliator, they said you could eventually replace the fuel tanks on the starfareer for regular cargo racks. Theres lots of ships that need that foundation tech.

The Reclaimer, Cutlass Red and Blue, Avenger Stalker, Hawk, Nova, Carrack and now RAFT prove you don't need gameplay loops, new mechanics or essential tech to implement a ship. The Carrack is pretty useless apart from cargo running and it got in. What's stopping the Endeavour getting in is that everyone who wants one has paid for it. Will they sell that many more just for making the model and putting in the game? Not at the $300+ markup that will be added to the final price.

All good my man! Hate I missed this one but I know you tried. LOL! Wow where to even begin with this ship other than to say it will be the single most flexible ship in the verse? You covered it so well I don't really have much to add other than I think you may have misspoke in regards to the cab. You said that it did not have a QT drive but I am sure you meant to say it doesn't have a JUMP drive. It does have a QT drive but no jump drive. The main engine section includes the work area and the main engines with the Jump drive. Other than that all I can add is that although you CAN ALWAYS BUY ANY SHIP IN GAME, this one is one of those MUST BUYS in my opinion if you want the most versatile ship money can buy. At the current price it is ridiculously undervalued and the price will likely go beyond double at some point in the future. It will very likely be the last ship that we see from all the old original concept ships but when we do get it I think it will be a game changer! Good stuff bro!

LTI for the modules was only available during the concept sale. From the Q&A: "Yes, all Endeavor and Hope equipment available during this sale includes LTI. It will not include LTI when offered again." Only way to buy the modules with LTI now is with the Master Set due to it's $1k price tag.

Endeavor and Banu Merchantman are two ships i cant wait.
BMM will be my travelling credit printer and home. Oh and help the org i am in on logistic missions and fund raising.. Oh and some combat too
Endeavor will be org support ship hospital/food/ component modding/research/scouting etc

Got an Endeavor at the IAE this year but I didnt buy the modules. I figure I can buy those in game later once I figure out how I want to outfit it.

One thing: the insurance of each module depends on when you bought it. Some sales had 60/72/120 month insurance
Edit: also, capital sized components cannot be removed by players. They require going into dry dock at a station to swap capital components

This ship will need so much new gameplay, while they are barely pushing out 2 gameplay loops (mining/medical) in 3 years, Lets say it need another 8 years to come out.

I purchased the Super Collider variant of this ship for overclocking ship modules. It's going to be working between a Reclaimer, Crucible and Caterpillar converted into a flying machine shop.

Every concept ship has gotten bigger. It's components will surely change to capital class components and it's shape language will drastically change with all the ship design experience they have learned through the years.
I own the Hope Class Hospital ship version plus the agro pods. Can't wait!

I have the base $350 model of this ship. Can I add some modules to it this IAE or do you have to buy those together, as in the $350+ the cost of whichever module you're interested in. I'm not sure how that works as the Endeavor has been one of my more recent purchases.

So the base ship is $350 and then you add the modules you want. In my opinion unless you just want to spend the money to support the game development you should just buy the modules in game as they will be relatively inexpensive in UEC...

It can potentially hold a lot of cargo yeah, but man it'd be a pain to get it unloaded.
I wonder if the game system will require actual physical unloading of cargo vs just using a transfer terminal.

The problem there is I'm not sure you can land the rear section, or dock it to a station. It's meant to be parked in orbit and the front end is meant to ferry supplies and cargo back and forth.

Modules doesn't have LTI anymore. That was only for the initial release. For last year's IAE I bought the modules to make my own Hope class and, for that special occasion, they came with 120 months of insurance. And had normal insurance for previous sales.

This ship raises so much questions to me. Like how are they implementing science in a game? Building a super laser to do what? Wich data Will there be to Discovery? How much in depth Will this 'science' go? How Will they keep this gameplay interesting for hardcore players who will discover at a very high pace? How to even sell data when there is not even a trade option ingame right now? If you ask me this is one of the last ships to come if it will even make the game.

As for research, the game will have artifacts, anomalies that can be found, explored, studied. You can also find valuable resources, deposits, and create improvements for ship components based on artifacts (this was the case in the design of 2014). As for information, CIG makes a system of labels on the map, you find an interesting place - you put a label and this label is stored in the ship's storage, it can be transferred or sold.

Moreover, anomalies - technically there are already now, these are points of interest when scanning, in a global sense, such an anomaly can be anything from a wrecked ship, ore deposits, to an unstable Jump Point, a secret base of the organization of players. Well, depending on the power of the radar, you can study and detect anomalies for hundreds of km.

It will be a capital industrial ship capable of a multitude of roles. Science, Medical, Food, R&D, but also possibly a fighter/mining ship carrier with defensive capabilities if they can design a saddle bag hangars type module that takes up all the slots. This ship will be huge, almost as big as a Bengal.
