My friend, you are truly an Epic Collector. Love your review for Epic Collection Vol 5: the secret empire. Can't wait for Vol 6: the man who sold the united states. Awesome!!!
I know you said modern epics don’t interest you but the captain America modern epic volume one recently released and it’s the start of ed brubakers run which is widely regarded as the best captain America run. Highly recommend!
It helps that these are some really good stories being told - the best, in fact! Steve Englehart is such a good writer, and one of my favorites from this era.
@@AlphachadEpicCollector You've convinced me to start reading these sooner than I planned. I'll start after I finish FF Lee/Kirby. There are zero f*cks given in these videos, it's hilarious. And your knowledge of the history of comics is superb.

I’ll definitely check it out. I really liked Brubaker’s work on Uncanny X-Men #475-486 - “The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire” storyline.
Man, you are eating through these.
