This was his manager's response. He had a different answer. I felt the episode was cringy. They can make fun of his look and style but i think it was very disrespectful when they made him eat meat. He has done so much for animals, i really dont get why you should portray a lifelong vegan like that.
I think that they could have based the plot twist in that episode (the character claims he is now eating meat because veganism was invented by foreigners) on something else than that, there's enough other things that Morrissey is doing now that are against his old ideals. Also could have shown that being a vegan doesn't free you from all criticism, you know, calling other people murderers because they're not vegan when those other people are criticising something completely different.
