The fact that you always add the outside replays of the landings is amazing, most people just taxi to the gate and call it that but you always do the extra step to let us see the outside too, even when the landing isn’t amazing
My God, it's seriously as if I requested a video step-by-step, and had you record it for me. You nailed every single thing that I was hoping to see/hear. Congrats again for a job well done!
Great video. You've convinced me to purchase this aircraft, the main reason being I'm actually an Ameristar employee and I have my hands on the -200 all the time and really love it.Actually doing an annual inspection on this very aircraft this week (465TW).
A pretty much perfect video, Jeff. Stunning visuals. One of your more beautiful videos. LOVE the various “Go Pro” shots from the cockpit and the passenger window views! Well-done! The graphics are super-crisp. Is it due to high anti-aliasing or a high resolution setting? (4K?). Also, your frame rates were butter-smooth! You must have a beast of a machine. The Flyjsim 737-200 is a work of art...
22640cal, that's nice. Most of my family lives in Los Alamos and that's also where I first flew a plane. My cousin took me up when I was 7 and I got to fly his c152 for an hour out of KLAM. Now he's a police officer and also flys Lear 45s at his 2nd job.
I need this plane in m life! A quick look at Ameristar's website shows they still have a 737-200 for passenger service but they run cargo with a couple of DC-9s.
Hey Jeff, I know you got a system built by Jetline systems. I'm going to be building a much more powerful computer than the one I currently have, in the next few months, partly based on those specs. I was wondering if you can go over what addons you use in X-plane and what your FPS is using your new system.
Script hook V has been updated for GTA 5 But Assorted Callouts by Albo1125 not working for what ever reason it keeps crashing. And when you uses stop the ped there’s like a noticeable drop in performance. So keep in mind When you install LSPDFR.
I always wanted to fly a old Eastern Airlines route, in one of their B727-100s. Although I like the B734, I prefer the -300 series and before of most of the Boeing planes.
I like flying the new stuff so having a glass cockpit is what I like, love to see where i am going haha ,I thank you for your video jeff I just never learned to fly in the older planes ,I know its rewarding to simmer pilots vor to vor stuff like that is just the way it is but think of all the new tech in cars these days with displays and touch screens planes have them too lol just program them in and off you go with a visual i have x-plane 11 and p3d v4.3 enjoy both sims
29:20 You just opened the slats. Not sure why, really? :) EDIT: Beautiful video, BEAUTIFUL aircraft and an amazing sim. I just love your videos. Keep 'em coming! :)
Hi thanks for your awesome video. I already got this airplane as well. Please I have a question. The marker lights aren’t working in this model..? they never went on. Is that correct.
Hey Jeff, Is that a payware pass-by camara? Do you have a list of your graphic settings for X-plane? Do you have PC specs list? What are your WT3 settings? Did you witness any frame drop after installing ortho4xp tiles? Do you have xplane11 on SSDs?
Personally although I fly P3D it usually only takes me a couple of practice flights to learn a new plane. I started with boeing so I can learn pretty much any boeing plane in 1 or 2 flights. Airbus I'm still learning and it took me a little while to learn the Dash 8.
Stupid question Jeff but I I am asking you very seriously....HOW did YOU learn to fly like this???? I want soooo bad to learn all this but I don't know how to fly jets like all you guys! Please tell me, how did you learn all this????? I want so bad to have knowledge to fly like you do!!!!!!!
I used to ask the same questions, do you know what helped me? PRACTICE. #1. Do not let all of those switches and buttons scare you into thinking it is exceptionally complex, it's actually not, there is a "flow" to it. #2. SIDS/STARS is also not that complex, you read the charts, once you know how to read them (it's not all that difficult to learn), it's pretty much following instructions. #3. Do not let the FMC/FMS scare you, yes it is a little complex but it is also very straightforward and there are excellent tutorials available on YiouTube from real pilots. #4. Buy 3 high quality & fidelity payware aircraft in total 1 from each category. 3a. Piston Prop (the REP covered aircraft are excellent) 3b. Turboprop (jet powered prop) 3c. Turbofan (Jet aircraft, recommend to use a corporate jet or a light jet to get started) Why #4? Master each one of those in the order listed, and I mean MASTER them, learn their quirks and systems, you will find out by the time you get to the Jet that things just "click", and once you get into that Jetliner, that "flow" chart will make sense and you will do it like it's nothing. I did this when getting back into flight simming about 6 years ago, I was using a program for FSX called FSPassengers, and I started a career that forced me to graduate from single engine prop, to multi-engine prop, to turboprop, then to jetliner. I mastered the A36 Bonanza as my single engine prop (I miss that plane, such a great aircraft), then I flew a Piper Seneca V (another favorite of mine), then on to a King Air (my favorite turboprop), and finally into a Hawker 850XP business jet. I mastered each of those, and it took me a few months to do it, got my landing rates down to -50 ft/m on landing on average, I understood the aircraft's systems, I knew how to fly them, and as the systems got more complex I was able to build on what I had learned from before. By the time I started working on the PMDG 737 NGX, most of the systems I understood, I watched tutorials, and then made my first flight, and my first flight went about as well as you would expect... lots of mistakes but lots learned, now I can start the Zibo 737 in 10 minutes with the FMC ready to go.
It's not as hard as you think it is. Once you understand the basics it will click and start to make sense. I highly recommend heading over to Frooglesims channel and watching his tutorial and fully loaded series.
Spartan0536 Hey my friend, THANK YOU for ALL the detailed info and the insight you shared with me! That was awesome! First person who's ever done anything quite like that for me before! Crazy thing is I have been enjoying Flight Simulators since Microsoft flight simulator 98...and I STILL can't fly jets right. Even though I have a job and a life and plenty of other things I'd rather not do, I have decided 2 get a virtual reality headset and try to really make this the way it should be. I'm pretty darn good in a Cessna, but I guess I will need to start learning the plane from the beginning. The King Air is definitely one I'm having fun with, although I don't know how to run the new Garmin systems compared to what was out there before they came. Wish I could stay in contact with you since you are so kind and willing to help a fellow flight simmer out! I am absolutely loving the planes in VR! Almost too damn real!!!!!
Digital Gold Pictures.... If you do not have the REP package for the Cessna 172, get it, lots of people recommend it and for good reason. The C172 is a plane that will teach you how to manually fly and get acquainted with a basic autopilot. I would recommend moving to a light twin after that such as the Baron 58 with REP, that will help you with engine management and it really is a fantastic aircraft to fly. The Carenado B58 + REP is an excellent combo. Since you stated you have issues flying jets, I would recommend skipping the Turboprop aircraft and move into a VLJ (Very Light Jet), and I wholeheartedly recommend the Aerobask Eclipse 500NG. This will get you MEJ time (Multi Engine Jet), and it's a very tiny aircraft and will handle like a twin piston in many ways. As an introductary to jets, the Eclipse 500NG is near perfection. From there you could move into larger business jets such as the Challenger 300, or move into the regional jetliners like the ERJ-175 which is a bit smaller than a 737 so it would handle a bit easier. Just some options for ya, and congratulation on the VR purchase!
I know this might be a odd request but Could you bye Chace do a lemonade stand video on doj? (Criminal). I got the idea from a facebook post about a kid robbing lemonade stands. Thought it might interest you into something new.?

You are very welcome man!
It's a beautiful old aircraft.
Great video. You've convinced me to purchase this aircraft, the main reason being I'm actually an Ameristar employee and I have my hands on the -200 all the time and really love it.Actually doing an annual inspection on this very aircraft this week (465TW).
You're flying from SoCal (My former home) to the East Valley, AZ (My new home)!! I live in Mesa. Phoenix Sky Harbor is my airport now!! Go Southwest!!
A pretty much perfect video, Jeff. Stunning visuals. One of your more beautiful videos. LOVE the various “Go Pro” shots from the cockpit and the passenger window views! Well-done! Bought this plane for Christmas. It flys very good!
Love the classic 300 400 500 - Wilco PIC was my first sim plane - love the steam gauges
if you love the classic, the IXEG 737 is a must
SocalMike_SD a
I work at the FBO where that plane is based! They do still fly cargo but on Falcon 20s and DC9s. Both of their 737’s got repainted. Awesome videos!
X-plane 11 is expensive...
But worth it!
That airplane looks so good, nice one Jeff!
I live in LA and my dad is a 787 pilot with United Airlines

Jeff I love your vids and I hope you keep working hard you make my day everyday.
This is another beautiful video by you Jeff keep it up 👍🏻
The 737 s are my some of my favorites
can u start recording on a cold start
You should do a flight from KLAM to KABQ. These two airports are significant to my family and it'd be nice to see you fly between them.
I forgot for a second that I was on UA-cam and not work lol I work for an air medical company and we do that flight ( in rotor) all the time lol
22640cal, that's nice. Most of my family lives in Los Alamos and that's also where I first flew a plane. My cousin took me up when I was 7 and I got to fly his c152 for an hour out of KLAM. Now he's a police officer and also flys Lear 45s at his 2nd job.
I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and work at KSDL. It's probably going to be 110 degrees again today...
EHAM apron worker here, i rather get a thick coat, its cold!
I need this plane in m life! A quick look at Ameristar's website shows they still have a 737-200 for passenger service but they run cargo with a couple of DC-9s.
Used to work for them. The 737s and Md80s are for their charters. The DC9s and Falcons are their freighters
yep and they used to operate the 732 for cargo
Waking up to an Xplane video! Love it
Do you think you could showcase some fighter jets or military aircraft on here? I think it would be really cool. Keep up the awesome videos.
10:24 A wild Big Mama JuJu in her truck is spotted on the right of the runway.

Cool video, Jeff! BTW, I got Nicole and Buggs on Snapchat!!
A little float, but man that was a buttery landing!!
Wonder if you could do a flight in the 737-200 and land at a gravel runway?
Hi. We do it almost everyday :) but in real life with our 737-200 in far north Canada.
wuss for not using the civa ins i do it and it works fine now i dare you to do this flight with the civa ins and see how it goes

Have you considered flying on VATSIM or IVAO? I feel like you would enjoy it
Hey jeff can you do a flight to Miami to st Martin in xplane 11 on a 737-800 from American
Use elevator trim for speed, throttle for descend rate, and you won't jump around so much.
A cup of freshly brewed coffee and Jeff uploaded a new video to start the morning. It's gonna be a good day!
Hey Jeff. Please fly an A340 or Boeing 707
Cosmin Bacanu there is none for xplane
