- In 1981, established horror director, Wes Craven, was hunting a new project following his release of 1972’s The Last House on the Left & 1977’s The Hills have Eyes. Craven needed a new vision for a horror movie. Despite having a creative mind, his ideas for creating something terrifying were running dry. It was only following a string of articles about a series of unexplained deaths that gave him the perfect pitch for a new, terrifying story. That terrifying story became known as ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ and went on to become a huge hit and a well respected classic by horror movie fans and movie goers in general. But what were the cases that inspired these events? What real-life occurrences caused Wes Craven to create such a terrifying, supernatural story?

This is what the channel needs. More variety with the killers keeps it interesting.
It’s the perfect premise, you go to sleep you’ll die and if you stay awake eventually life is just not worth living

Yeah I remember when I heard that ANOES was based on a true story I was so intrigued yet so horrified that this actually happened like wow. This being the reason we have such a horror icon Freddy Krueger the springwood slasher is so fascinating.
"Now I see something red" 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸 🔪
Jason was a very menacing Ghostface
Well this was a terrifying surprise
I used to get sleep paralysis really bad in my teens and a little bit into my early 20s. I haven't had it in years, thank god, because it was frightening to me every time. For me, it was like this heavy tingling sensation all throughout my body that weighed me down and restricted any body movement. I remember being in those moments and fighting really hard in my head to get any part of my body to move just so that I could break free.
I have a lot of dreams where I can recall the events and it does feel real at the time. I also have dreams where I know it’s not real but I’ll still go along with it as most of the time these dreams are usually relatives that have passed on. I don’t have many nightmares but when I tend to forget them. They’re never nice but I’ve never had these nightmares continuously like that.
Might get Freddy as my next tattoo
I feel asleep watching this.
Should do a backstory on nightmare on elm street 1984 the twisted hobo that lived and worked in the boiler room not the family man the bullshite freddys dead sequel came up with like you did with billy in black christmas
Awesome video 🔥
Can't wait to see it
This is a very interesting video and I also have had sleep paralysis since I was 20 years old so I’ve had it for 13 years and I’m 33 now but I don’t get it as often as I used to tho.
This makes me not want to sleep 😆
Love Freddy 💕

@ReaperKid-od7rw not even think the original is scary one of the creepiest films ever in my opinion
@@Whosthis761 it's ok, it's not bad. But nope, imo it's not scary. But to each their own 🤷😂
