You must be a rocket surgeon. I'd have been there a few more hours before I figured that gizmo out 😅. I truly do love how you're taking us along for the ride each step of this refurb process though. The little piickup is going to be frought with fun little obstacles. Cant wait.
man i am applying for jobs at nasa with the unedited version of this video to show them 4 hours of problem solving skills and how my composure holds up under stress... I did smash one and have to order a new one to finish the video... but nasa doesn't need to know
Great little short video. I wished I had gotten one of those when I was sitting up my above ground pool it would have really been a lot of help with getting it level. Again great video keep up the good work on getting that place back in shape.
thanks man, its like a lot of things, this type of survey equipment used to be completely out of the price range for anyone with only a few projects... there is no doubt i will get a few hundred buck worth of service out of it
I bought the same one from ebay in March for 159. I used to grade my back yard for a new building I'm putting up. I just built a little stand to set it on.
yea man the took works well... but it took me hourrrrrss to figure it out... just turn it on to walk away... if it starts to spin within 60 seconds you are good... if not it is out of level...but you seriously have to wait... its unusually long
I’ve spent the time to do string lines in line levels, and all that type of stuff before and it works, but for the price it is very easy to see how much quicker and more accurate this will be for running around doing the stuff I got to do if there’s no question for what I have lined up that this is absolutely going to be worth it. And as soon as I confirmed its accuracy over 130 feet I think the price is fantastic if it’s that good
1. I have no current need for a level like this but I watched the whole vid anyway. 2. So far, everything I’ve gotten from Vevor so far has not disappointed which is why I watched. 3. My first brand new car was a 86 and 1/2 Nissan pickup so GET TO WORK ON THAT NISSAN! Seriously I’m just dying to find out if it had the same twin spark hemi headed engine that mine had… it was a helluva motor
Ha thanks dude. The only other think I have from them I got through Home Depot… weed barrier fabric. Works like hell. But a far cry from a fancy laser. And…Datsun video on Sunday!!!
thanks for following the journey... honestly i wish id had it for a ton of projects it would have paid for itself a bunch of times over ... at least for me
That tone would stop an elk herd. My ears are still ringsing. ........... I've read all the other comments thus far. Ditto. except for mr waterlevel. no workee overly distant shores. (my Mandarin. BTW, when frustrated my chinlee 'papa', a research veterenarian, used to say, "you drive me to the nuts." It was good preparation for our current Chinese relationship). Vevor should pay you for this one, cuz, cuz I'm gonna buy one for my projecto. Manana, senor, with a couple tilda thingys.
I like that you drive me to the nuts I’m gonna borrow that one. And I did not mean that as an insult, their English is far better than my Mandarin But for the price for the accuracy, it was definitely worth figuring out and on top of that anyone who watch this video will know just to turn the thing on and walk away. In the words of Travis W redfish. It’ll work if you let it.
Thank you for the info. tutorial. Stay safe, healthy, strong and happy. Blessings to you and family ☝🙏🙌💪
thanks man

Neat ! The laser version really can make determining grade a one person job. Thanks for sharing.
it is for sure going to help out and it should be more accurate than a string level(nothing against those at all)

thats a good deal.... in the video i just had it sitting on my camera tripod works just fine
Thanks for the vid i just bought one of these 2 weeks ago and I am going to use it this week.

cool looking at getting the same one for our projects

ik vind het geweldig o je bezig te zien aar ff iets anders hoeveel huizen staan er nog op je verlanglijstje vr gr marcel
you read the instructions too?
mine failed after the first use. support is garbage.
That’s a bummer mine is holding up. But that doesn’t really help you out. Did you buy directly from them
Every time you turn it or move it, it has to self level again, hence the reason why you get no laser.
sure... but the initial start up and self leveling time is surprisingly long, thats what had me confused
