Thanks for your interest! Sure! I’ll dive a bit deeper into the story.
I’ll try to keep a long story short.
The song for me, is a conversation with myself and my struggles with mental health. For 2 years during lockdown and a bit after, I just lost sense of myself. I forgot what it felt like to create art for a while, I was insanely bored cause I missed playing music with my friends and interacting with people at shows. I kept feeling like a failure that I hadn’t made my dreams come true, and coming out of the pandemic back into the real world, it felt like I skipped ages 21 and 22, I was instantly 23. I just felt all this pressure that I had to make my life worthwhile, the lyrics in this song are just that story but in a very compact nutshell haha.
