I find it “funny” when dark trooper flies in for the face punch then misses
I gave death trooper and Mace Windu R7 for ROTE platoons and I’m super happy with that decision
I have Gar at R7 (for TB) and ISC at R5 just because of his rework. And I use them to either two man GAS teams OR to clean up protection up datacron Leia teams.
My most recent GAC match, my R5 Maul got yeeted with Leia still at 60% health and Gar and ISC took Leia out the rest of the way with counter attacks. It was pretty epic.
People with Jedi Cal aren't taking Cere to R7 yet because the rest of their guild doesn't have Jedi Cal yet. I am one of the few people in my guild who has Jedi Cal. Everyone else in the guild is ready and waiting for him to come back. And yes, I know they could do the special mission with young Cal, but few in the guild are willing to R7 young Cal when Jedi Cal could/should be back at any moment (which we have been saying for a LOOOONG time).
Yeah, that mission sucks with young Cal. I've won it several times, but it's less than half my attempts.
Here's hoping the event comes back soon, tired of waiting for it!

Iden is an r8 lock for me -- not just for the Raid, as it's getting close to where you want to stop investing in Raid characters but her ship is soooo good
And it's the Leviathan she counters (not that she doesn't also counter the Profundity! I'm guessing that was just a brain-freeze)
Also, apparently makes the Leviathan mirror super easy (for Fleet climbs)
Week(s) ago: Xaereth and Sarah speculate that maybe Mandalore is coming to RotE.
Thursday: Xaeteth makes video saying that Bo-Katan is not needed for anything with auto release for the following Monday.
Friday: CG releases road a head stating RotE will be getting a new Mandalore planet.
Monday: Bo is now needed for something.

I’m gearing up Leia right now, so that is the ONLY reason I haven’t bumped up Beskar Mando to R7.
With his datacron and at R6 and being well modded, he can one shot everyone on a LV team except for LV himself, if you can get his 20 stacks of whistling birds (yes, including DTMG and Reva). It takes some good set up RNG but it’s just bonkers when it works.

weirdly, I'd say don't really bother with r7 -- I mean, sure it makes the HT stronger, but if you take Bossk to r7, then commit to r9 ... unless you're unlocking Bo, cos then you don't need another off-meta LV counter

Hey Xaraeth, what would you say is the best Leia team if you have drogan omi? Might be worth a general Leia video if you have time, there aren’t many out there.
Leia Drogan R2 Han chewie is pretty great. Some sub Crex and Old Ben for Han Chewie to keep their CLS team strong.
@@ericj076 is chewie and Han still the best team in have even if drogan isn’t getting guard due to his omicron? Also using cpt Rex would mean not having the phoenix reva counter. Would baze + mon mothma be any good?

@@Xaereth oh I'm not having that comparison! JKCal is an absolutely transformative character, possibly my favourite from last year -- and Trench -- hell, if you gave ME Dooku, Wat, Nute, Jango I could probably beat something too -- and I'm old and my force powers are rubbish

In GAC? I've got other uses for each of those characters, apart from Dooku. This may change with STAP and Bane replacing Nute and Wat respecively
Though I have a sneaky feeling I may be using Bane as an LV lifter on offence if Maul goes off with the other DSUFUs ...
And, I may have watched Fatal be very disparaging about Trench more than once

That galactic legend zeta is crazy because it's pretty good on all GLs of course, but I recently found out it's fully required for JML. I just applied it when he was at R7 and it fundamentally changed his ability to tackle other GLs
