your technique of shielding the water flow was very helpful. I was finally able to determine there was not an issue with waterflow...the top arm was flowing strongly. which led me to additional (repeated) cleanding of top arm debris, as well as double-checking that the assembly was seated properly. finally I got the top arm spinning again. I also let the washer run briefly with the top arm removed, to flush any debris. but I think it was debris, namely in the underside tip-of-the-arm position (the jets that cause the arm to spin). VERY glad I didn't order/replace a pump! Thank you for this helpful video.
So glad it helped. I was actually looking at those holes when I was unloading the dishwasher this morning. I always seem to get some kind of debris in those last outer most holes. I sure wish that arm assembly was some thing you could take apart and clean. But it all seems to be one molded unit. Anyway, glad it’s working for you. Have a great day.
This is awful programming. No wonder why machines aren't cleaning as well as they should be. .... There should be a trigger that says if water doesnt reach XX(XX being the sensor) by XX(60secs) time then alert user. Had this been programmed correctly, there would be an error code to alert the user ( Not enough water). Companies are getting lazy. I'm watching this because I need ideas with what's causing mine leaving food particles after every cycle. I have to rinse off my dishes as soon as the dishwasher is done or else it will dry food particles and film on the dishes.
That float level does nothing with respect to the water coming in initially. It’s totally timed the only thing the float does it turn it off if it has too much. That’s why if you have a blockage the float level will not allow it to continue flowing until you fill. It’s a stupid design and I think the float level should be in the feedback loop.
Usually sticking a little pic or pin needle in the holes to break up any parts that may have been stuck in there and then flushing it and seeing if they come out and make the hole clear. As long as the holes seem to be clear of debris you should be good to go assuming pump and everything else is working, obviously
Need to check pump then. Is water being pumped up the channel that supplies upper arm prior to the rotating arm? Lower assembly is spraying good? If bottom arm sprays good but upper does not I am guessing a blockage in the channel or something
@@condor5635 bottom arm is still spinning slowly slowly but upper arm doesn't not spin at all but I can see water coming through but doesn't spin water pressure is more than enough since pressure pump is connected to my water tank
@@swanandchoudhary5781 doesn’t make a lot of sense you think there’s plenty of water pressure yet they spin slowly something doesn’t add up. I don’t really know what you mean when you say it’s connected to a water tank.

Very good root cause analysis and test to verify. I was looking for solutions to this problem with my whirlpool doing exactly the same problem.

that's not an overflow in the left front, that's the float level. if you're not getting enough water in the tub it could be scaled /junked up.

the middle rack was still not spinning how do fix that?
Could very well be lack of water and hence pressure to rotate upper. Watch videos and ensure water amount is proper
