To beat the baron get rich quick and keep a couple bands of mercs on retainer. Should be affordable with a small town and trade. Will even out the battle

i think those "farms" dont have as much fine control as real farms.
the people wont plant until the beginning of the new year.
however, I think you can "force" plant and harvest with the,... so-called..., "real" fields.
also,...maybe make your marketplace narrower so the stalls spread out more?
or maybe smaller marketplaces in strategic places?

You can move the stalls so that's not an issue. Really it's just a matter of having the extra people and products for more stalls to appear.

Yeah, I think this is just a bit too much like hardwork for me 😅 A little too much micromanaging for me to want to play it. I used to play loads of city builders but they've become so complicated now.
