Ahoy Mates!
Welcome aboard Happy Travelers! In this series we are sailing on a seveb night Western Caribbean sailing on the MSC Seashore! We will be departing Miami, Florida and visiting Ocho Rios Jamaica, Georgetown Grand Cayman, Cozumel Mexico, and Ocean Cay ( MSC’s Private Island). This is our first time sailing on an MSC vessel and Seashore is one of MSC’s newest and largest ships! We are excited and curious to see what MSC is all about!
For today’s video, we want to show you our accommodations for this sailing! We are staying in a standard balcony room on deck 15, cabin number 15152! We found the room itself very comfortable but being right below the pool and buffet deck, it was very noisy.

Just as an FYI, MSC TV’s block using using streaming devices through hdmi points. (I’ve tried my apple adapter a few times to no avail) picked up a very small cheap projector though as about to sail the transatlantic in a few weeks and TV Chanel’s cut out mid Atlantic. Nobody stopping me watching my Netflix!

Sorry for all the questions but it will be our time on MSC in May. Does it need to be an MSC cabin card or can you use one from another cruise line? Are the walls and doors metal that you can hang magnetic hooks? Can you request them to empty the mini fridge? Does the luggage fit under the bed?
Hi, I did MSC cruise end of January. Yes it has to be MSC card to operate in the room. The walls are magnetic as I put hooks up to hold items. Yes you can request them to remove items from fridge if you intend on using it. I stored my luggage under the bed.

I like that there is a tub in the room, you mentioned it could be different by stateroom, what do the other rooms offer? MSC is on my list of wanting to tries since I think there is a ship that leaves from NY.
Hi Jenn! Some rooms have just a shower versus and tub/shower combo! My dad's room had just a shower, but everything else was basically the same as our room! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

Are walls metal for wall hooks?

We would definitely recommend changing. We’re not very susceptible to noise, but this was one of the loudest cabins we’ve ever had. We hope you have a great time! 😁

What cord/cable goes between your iPhone and the Rode Go mic?
HI Tim! It's a patch cable with an apple lighting to headphone jack adapter! It's basically used so the sound from the Rode is attached to the video clips on the iPhone! We have done over 25 cruises, but have our doubts about MSC, my brother and wife were on it and didn’t like it!
New ships coming to the US now. Also check out the Yacht Club and see if thats within your budget as that is a different experience. We almost did MSC this month but switched to a land option.
Also look up I think its Emma who did a cruise comparison on Royal vs MSC and how MSC is different.
Hi Mercy! MSC is definitely different and we have heard a lot of varied experiences. We had a good time but we personally would probably pick other cruise lines over MSC. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
It depends how open you are to other cultures? If you simply want the US experience then choose a US line. This is a European line and personally I choose it because of that. I love the mix of European culture. As a Brit 🇬🇧 we are very use to popping to different European countries regularly. If you want OTT lingering waiters, food packed with sugar and salt and you can’t tolerate hearing languages other than English then MSC won’t be for you.
