Not playing Artale currently but am a corsair player from private servers. - Dash - (if works like a discount haste buff) is a nerf early game and buff late. Dash is very significant early and you can also keep the buff in ladders if you initiate the dash and start climbing a ladder while still holding the dash direction. Later when corsair gets Recoil + Wings the current Dash change is going to be better, since you cannot get the old dash speed and jump buff on the movement combo. So kinda on the fence about this. - 1 elemental bullet equip - I hate this change and will explain on flamethrower section - Double shot - 👍 - Grenade - was a gimmick useless skill, so 👍 - Flamethrower - I have not played Artale so can't say about real experience but in theory this along with the 1 equipable elemental ammo, I hate it. Flamethrower and Ice splitter lose a significant amount of damage without the corresponding bullets and they have skill end lag, so you would macro the 2 skills together, deal good damage, freeze and burn them. This allows for relatively ok kill times while taking significantly less damage. Now the current Artale version, is the burn % damage based on current hp or max hp? Is the burn % damage the same on all ranks? I assume its current hp burn as max hp would be 2.5%*40=100% which means you apply burn once and after 40 sec you get the kill which would be too good. I guess in a way if you now only need to max 1 skill and ignore the other or even just put 1 point into flamethrower for the % burn you have more points left for other skills. Overall I guess I have more problems with the 1 equipable elemental bullet than the flamethrower changes. - Battleship - eh... At this point I am comparing this to private server changes. First of all, everyone needs to understand that normally Nightlord and Corsair are the games best single target dps classes and under PERFECT conditions Corsair does more dps, but that requires for 100% battleship uptime which is where the difficulty of the class comes in. You need to learn boss attack patterns to constantly dismount the ship to tank a hit and then remount to do damage again. Ship cannot recover hp until its destroyed with a WHOPPING 6 MIN COOLDOWN. Without the ship you lose about half of your total damage, so its abbig deal. Finally onto the Artale changes, with some hp calculations at level 140 thats a 2.5 times more hp than prebuffs (200k hp at 140) which is honestly still not that much especially if you make 1 mistake on a boss 1 hit skill (which most bosses have) you immediately lose all hp and get a 6 MINUTE COOLDOWN. Also you never want to put more than 1 point to battleship as it only gives w.def and m.def. Most servers reduce the cd of the skill down to 1.5min at max level but no hp buffs so you are incentivised to max battle ship and when you make a mistake, the penalty is not so drastic. Overall I would say that I prefer cooldown buffs more than hp buffs. - Hypnotize - never used old one so.. 👍 - Rapid fire - best damage skill out of battleship 👍
Started a page last night, realizing she 56 levels of playing and following guides, thinking Power guard was just an okay skill. Learned at cargos it shrieking reduces and reflects damage. So thanks for going overthis!
I think that Berzerk changes means the skill activates when your HP is above 55%. So you want to have more than 55% hp to activate it, correct me if I'm wrong :P. So basically Drk's maintain their tankiness with 100% uptime of berserk if they're above 56% hp
No way they will allow that type of skill to be there that so broken lol that means berserk will be 100% up time especially if you are with a bishop I think they mess up the translation lol 😂
@@henrryma8460 It is 55% health or higher, so basically 100% uptime. It doesn't matter because 4th job Dark Knights arent amazing damage dealers even with full Berzerk uptime. May as well let them do less damage than other classes without requiring a ton of skill regarding health management.
@@henrryma8460 Yeah lots of people were talking about it on discord. It was intentional for "balancing" but to be fair compared to Paladin and Hero, Berserk's dmg boost isn't that strong to begin with haha
@@ApeThoughts yeah but we are getting plus 1 attack speed that alone is pretty huge. We are also getting buff that increases our dmg already and then berserk up time 100%? Free 210% dmg like that crazy the thing about dragon crusher is that it hits three lines which is big compare to 4th job paladin and hero.
If slashing and stabbing dmg is the same, won’t all darks use polearm fury with purple surfboard?
