They used to have monthly builds with the shitty wooden kits to encourage kids to learn about hardware but my dad and I would get the free kits and build the most messed up abominations known to man and enter them in the contests
They used to have sponsered builds too like when the Peabody and Sherman movie was in theaters, they had a wooden horse build and I specifically remember putting the wheels on the head of the horse to try and enter it in the race by having it race upside down (it did not work and I got disqualified for "ruining the experience", they just didn't understand my genius mind smh)
Oh my god, this is literally my favorite Wii game, it goes so in-depth I remember putting in weeks worth of work with my brother just to unlock the robot. I still, after probably 100 hours or so of playing as a child, have not beaten this game because its so big

If you want to get a free tool as Phil for example: You have to click on "Closer Look" and get a free tool by pressing Z and point and press A at an interactable object. After you got it, when do it again, there might be luck where you get a lot of screws/money or less screws/money Also you can only do it once if you do the other one there will be nothing. I have been suffering from serious depression and BPD recently, and it has taken a huge toll on me and my life. Something that has not been damaged, however, is my desire to stay up till 10 at night, waiting for the newest Poofesure video to go up. I played this game last week. One of the few wii games I go back to play still. Its like.... a really fun, well designed game. Weird that it was a collab with home depot (who thought of that?) But they made it so you can put a good amount of hours into it and the multi player is 10/10.
As someone who grew up playing this game aggressively, it really makes me happy to see someone play it :) you totally need to play the adventures of Billy and Mandy battle brawl game! It's one that's you would absolutely enjoy
There's nothing more embarassing than redeeming the "Mystery Gift Card" included with the game (with Mystery Gift Card written in big bold letters) and finding out there's only $1 on it.
