I only apologise if I’m playing unusually well and my opponent is playing poorly, try to make them feel less bad about themselves 😂 or if a game could’ve gone either way if we were both poor on the doubles, say sorry as a show of respect like sorry my dart was the one that happened to go in 😂

If the opponent misses too many darts at double and you come in and take out the double easily sometimes people apologise for that. Or something cheeky like a weird double double kind of finish, depends on the game
