It would be like saying MMA fighters "stole" BJJ, Judo, Muay Thai, Kickboxing etc. But a signature move like Kamehameha wasn't even Goku's from the start but he still mastered it better than Master Roshi and Grandpa Gohan. So even though it wasn't his originally he's still the master of it and worked on it and perfected it. He even learned to redirect it. Cell just inherited the ability. There's a big difference. And a technique isn't "stolen" if it's taught 😂. That would be like someone handing you something then claiming you stole it from them 😂. Goku trained to learn his techniques and abilities cell didn't..
The EXACT reason why this has gone down as one of the greatest fights in DB history is precisely because this fight is far more reminiscent of the battles in the Tenkaichi Budokai's of the original DB series. 🔥
Vegeta totally seen Goku come out of the time chamber as a relaxed super and then power up for the cat korin and then doesn't go back into the chamber to do the same thing plus then forgot he needs to power up and that they were only warming up. Silly on so many levels

Yes, Gohan punched him so hard that he threw up android 18, therefore in semi-perfect form Gohan was able to defeat him, but didn’t and cell went into self destruction mode making goku chime in…. When cell returned stronger than ever all the Z fighters ganged up on cell, Vegeta caught cell off guard, therefore Gohan with the spirit of his father defeated cell. Cell would not have been able to be defeated one on one.
It has to be said, it would've been interesting to actually see vegeta have a go at cell at the start of the tournament before he got a massive power up. They're almost all shocked by their speed, Trunks included, who went toe to toe with cell before this, and Vegeta is just like "you think that's fast"? So he's gone from getting 1 tapped by cell to thinking Cell and Goku warming up is slow. Obviously he wouldn't have won once cell started getting serious but at least he would've actually put up something of a fight this time by the sounds of it.

Do it! I started two months ago and don't regret it. I'm almost done with super and it's a wild ride. Although I skipped DBZ and went to Kai without the filler. Vegeta and Goku voices are so much better in Kai

When u watch these things again knowing well the final outcome, u tend to notice many new things as well. For one, gohan seemed to be hella OP already by the way he was watching the fight from the start. Not moving an inch when there was dust, his eye tracking, generally talking bout the fight etc etc No matter what anyone says, dbz is the most goated show to exist till date. Every single one of the big 3 has openly admitted to the fact that none of there mangas would have ever been a thing, had it not been for dbz to begin with. Its like dbz is the father like figure standing above the big 3 ... Also, now u all must think the pacing is slow. But in our time when we were young, every single ep gave us major goosebumps. Including the line 'next time on dragon ball zee'. Nd yeah, if u think bout it, dbz was bad, yeah, but it still had better pacing that ONE PIECE!! 😂😂😂 By a long shot too. One more thing, whoever blindly says that GT was trash, are absolute idiots!!! GT was an amazing series of those 65 eps or so.! Baby, super android 17 , the entire dark shenrons story line. Absolute masterpiece. Used to watch all this multiple of times when people used to download the entire discographies using torrent sites. The good ol days!!! I still have them in a hard drive. Now the movies. I cannot even count the amount of times iv replayed the best scenes from the 8th movie i.e the one with BROLY!! How many times i saw his transformation scene and the battle itself. Even broly the second coming too. Did u notice how the rock music selection was during that time too!? Emmaculate!!! One last thing, dbz is the only show imo where they made a lot of effort to find the perfect VA's for the job, hence, making dbz the first show ever where the eng dub was faaar better than the original jap sub! Which is still extremely rare, till this very day. Apologies for taking up ur time. Im a millenial whos in absolute love with such badass classics. Always give credit where its due. Most won't read that litany but it's nice to see passionate folks. I haven't seen GT myself but I intend to watch it before I finish Super. I love all of it but I haven't seen to movies yet. It's a long time to watch all of DB in it's entirety but I will watch with my SO and kids one day. DB is better than all the big 3 put together and I love me some Naruto. One Piece is way too long making it possible to only watch the entire thing once in a lifetime if it EVER finishes lol. Everyone should watch DBZ once to see how the shounen genre started. One of my absolute favorites after has to be Yu Yu Hakusho! It's short but each episode has no filler and it's another timeless classic of the shounen golden era. Legend of the Galactic Heros is another anime from this time period that hasn't been matched in quality, animation or story to this day.

Most won't read that litany but it's nice to see passionate folks. I haven't seen GT myself but I intend to watch it before I finish Super. I love all of it but I haven't seen to movies yet.
It's a long time to watch all of DB in it's entirety but I will watch with my SO and kids one day. DB is better than all the big 3 put together and I love me some Naruto. One Piece is way too long making it possible to only watch the entire thing once in a lifetime if it EVER finishes lol.
Everyone should watch DBZ once to see how the shounen genre started. One of my absolute favorites after has to be Yu Yu Hakusho! It's short but each episode has no filler and it's another timeless classic of the shounen golden era. Legend of the Galactic Heros is another anime from this time period that hasn't been matched in quality, animation or story to this day.
