Scottish rugby has always been that team where they come so close to achieving the impossible and shocking the world, just to lose at the last minute😂.
@@randomke7ab True, but I think Scotland are a more extreme example. Wales beat South Africa and similarly high ranking nations all the time which Scotland just don’t do as much.
This isn't just Scottish rugby this is Scotland as a whole. Andy Murray is one of our few success stories. Football, F1, Rugby have had so many almost moments. It's expected yet heartbreaking when it still happens
3.38. Useless bloody Ref, who ran off the pitch at the end as he knew he had messed up badly. Never seen that before, a ref cowardly sprinting down the tunnel rather than facing the players.
Gregor and his Team have taken Scotland in the Six Nations championship to a new level with brave and innovative rugby. Congratulations Team Scotland we want more! However, it's a great time for the Rugby Unions to sort out the penalty card mess. I believe that red and yellow cards are supposed to punish the offending player; but they are often punishing the entire team and dominating the scoreboard. For example a red card issued after 10 minutes of play is disastrous for the team, whilst one issued with 10 minutes of play left is much less so, despite the fact that they could be issued for the same offense! The case for an ORANGE card grows. Also accidental collisions are inevitable often resulting in neck or head contacts. This is quite different to the deliberate head butt by the French prop against Ben White, for example, yet both can result in red cards. The case for ORANGE cards grows and grows. Mr Rugby Union - please get your act together before the World Cup. Unless it is your aim for referees to dominate the scoreboard! Dr Ian McFeat Smith
The elephant in The room being that Huw Jones should be playing still! But Townsend for some reason gives him the cold shoulder like he has to so many top servants of Scotland that never deserved it.
Jones should be ahead of Tuipolotu 100%. Townsend would rather pick some overrated player at Glasgow instead of Jones. That’s why Nick Grigg got capped as well
@@sumboi2321 Nick grigg got that run of games because we were absolutely riddled with injuries, he did a decent enough job to be fair to him, he’s just not star dust like our other centres. Agree about Tuipilotu, he is one dimensional and greedy I just really hope he steps up his game.
Scotland will never be the most brilliant team on the planet, but have undoubtedly shown moments of brilliance and produced amazing players. We just have a habit of playing well then throwing the game 😂😂😭

2 of these games being losses sums up exactly what’s wrong with Scotland RN. We’ve come a long way since getting the wooden spoon in 2015 and yet, we still glorify losses and say that “we’re getting there.” Progress hasn’t been made since winning in Paris last year
Biggest shock was when Scotland stabbed Ireland in the back and voted fro France to host the 2023 World Cup. Second biggest shock is that Scotland still use 'Flower of Scotland' as their national anthem even though the Scots declined independence in 2014. That anthem is null and void.

They aren't shocking anybody really. Just 2 Grandslams. One back to back first championship wins in 27 years, yes, that's 27 years. They have never won the 6 nations. England have 13 Grandslams, the Welsh 12 and the Irish 3. The Welsh and English are joint holders for most championship wins.

No Chris Harris ?
I'm sure that was a nice bit of sarcasm, because Chris Harris is useless.
It's a shame that Scotland , for whatever reason, haven't visited a world cup semi-final since 1991.

Least bitter man in Ireland
Can't blame Scotland for a few guys in a suit at the top voting against Ireland hosting the RWC that is very ignorant thinking
More than likely it was financially motivated hosting it in France money is always the reason.
Why doesn't Scotland really shock the world and win the 6 nations. Or better still the rwc.
